Upon arrival, I wasn't greeted or acknowledged--instead, the first thing I was told was that they had called me several times to update my insurance. I explained that I had returned their call twice but was left on hold for over 20 minutes each time before being disconnected. Rather than showing understanding, Gia immediately began challenging my response in an unprofessional and belittling tone. When I said I had called back, she abruptly asked, "Which number did you call?" As I began to read the number aloud from my call log, she started talking over me, dismissing what I was saying. She then asked, "Well, what option did you select?"--as if I had the entire phone tree memorized. The entire interaction felt combative and unnecessarily condescending, especially in a healthcare setting where patients should be treated with basic respect. This level of unprofessionalism at the front desk is unacceptable. The staff's lack of courtesy and empathy completely overshadowed any quality medical care this practice might offer. I hope management seriously re-evaluates how their front desk staff interacts with patients.

The office staff was rude and appear to be over worked as I constantly had to correct them with information I had given just seconds before they got wrong. If you are retired I guess it would be OK but I run my own business and have a busy schedule. Time is money and you can never get it back.

He demonstrates his expertise in a holistic way: diet, exercise, relationships, medications, surgeries, etc. I think he's brilliant and very human. In addition I am profoundly grateful that he communicates with the whole care team for the patient. For example, if you need cardio care, he coordinates the data and consults with the other physicians and gives you as much time as you need to understand your options and your diagnoses. This is critical when you're at a juncture between several experts and doctors. He's a real mensch.

I wish she would adapt her scheduling to accommodate this, but after several years with her, it hasn't changed. Office management has changed. Even ownership has changed.
