Pharmacy drives customers away from this Walgreens. I go there for years but in the last 2-3 years it became a nightmare to go there. If you have one person in front of you be ready to wait for 20-30 minutes. If you call them it takes forever. Today after I waited 30 minutes because I was the 3 rd person in line I went on their website and set up home delivery and left before I had a chance to be called. If you request refills they feel as they can send you texts to advertise for their vaccines. Who has time to go there for anything and wait if they are not able to help us. The first guy that helped claimed he couldn't find pictures. I had the confirmation number and he wouldn't look at it. He looked under the wrong letter of my last name. Was humiliated at the Walgreens in Beaumont thanks to this pharmacist man here who refused to release my medications of like 13 years because my address is not in Beaumont area??? They are the WORST! Extremely slow service, looooooong lines, rude employees, and prescriptions not ready even when they've sent you a text saying they were ready. The drive thru is filthy, there is trash all over the side of the building. It's been this way since before the pandemic. The last straw was when I picked up my refills and found smother person's medication in my bag. When I took it back, the pharmacist was unapologetic, and all he had to say was "well at least we didn't charge you for it". From the staff to the dangerous and filthy surrounding parking lot this Walgreens location is truly terrible. Unfortunately this is where I come to get my prescription on a regular basis, so I am here all the time and nothing ever seems to change. Even my doctor complains about how bad this Walgreens is. The inside of the store​ is not well maintained, and everything usually takes a forever, from filling prescriptions to doing a simple transaction upfront you're going to spend a little bit of time there. The worst part really is the parking lot and surrounding area. Personally, I've seen a transient person sit in front of the propane storage area, cover themselves with their jacket, and then a few moments later dispose of a hypodermic syringe underneath the propane storage in front of the store. Drive thru pharmacy is consistently slow. If there are 2-3 cars it takes more than 20 minutes in most cases. I've never had an issue with the employees and don't fault them. There seems to be a management decision to never have enough staff to service both indoor and drive thru customers. It's been this way for years. read more

I am very disappointed with the service at this Walgreens. So much so that I switched to CVS, I just switched to Walgreens 1 month ago, because the staff is friendly and the Customer service is superior to Walgreens. I know this because I pick up my adult son's medicine from CVS so I knew their service was great. I only went with Walgreens because they are open 24 hrs but CVS is now open till 10pm during the week and they are open 7 days a week. My first dealings with Walgreens should have been enough but I gave them another chance. I went to pick up Norco for my daughter and the tech told me she had to drop it off. I told her she just had surgery and that's why she needed it and she couldn't come drop or pick it up that's why I was doing it for her. She then said I had to bring her ID just to drop it off, how ridiculous is that, I told her I would bring in the ID when I came to pick it up. It gets better, when I got the text that it was ready I went in to pick it up and they said that even though I got a text telling me it was ready it wasn't because they had to call the doctor to make sure it was legitimate. The tech I dealt with was not friendly and seemed to have an edge in her voice like I was trying to get something over on her. I let that slide. While I was waiting in line in the store to pick it up, the same tech waited on the man in front of me and when he went to submit his wife's CONTROLLED Meds he gave her his wife's ID and she told him "oh I don't need her ID I only need yours when you come to pick it up". I hate inconsistency!! Do I look like a drug addict trying to score?? I had to turn in a prescription every week for the Norco and each time I received the same type of service. After 4 weeks you would think they knew me by then. The last straw was last night. The service is always slow but last night was even slower. There were 2 cars ahead of me and it took 25 min to get up to the window. The poor tech was the only one working the window and the front service inside the store. Thirty minute wait in the drive-thru pharmacy is not unusual and no surprise to be told your order is not complete or ready when you do reach the window. They tell you to come in and they will fill your order and when you do, because you cannot sleep without your sleep medication there are 7 people ahead of you. You know that when you finally get to the front of this line they will not be ready and you will have to wait again. The problem I can see is understaffing. Another problem is Walgreens does not care to put an address where we can address our concerns...only care about $$$$$...that is just my observations. read more

RACIAL PROFILING. So the pharm tech in the drive Thru assumed I was Hispanic several times and proceeded to speak Spanish to me, which I do not understand. She had me repeat things 3x, accused me of no insurance, and proceeded to have me repeat information several times. She kept bringing up old addresses and phone numbers and speaking Spanish. Then she said, "You don't have insurance! You don't have insurance!" I am 0% Hispanic and it should be indicated on my pharm records/profile. Why she kept trying to pronounce my name in Spanish and say things in Spanish and accusing me of having no insurance is racial profiling at best. I'm always on hold for longer than 25 minutes. Many times my call is dropped after waiting that long. They can't seem to get my orders right, I call it in and get a text it's ready just to be told it's not ready. Then they have the nerve to have an attitude, and when I explain the mess of things they cut me off. I'm not having it! I'm tired of it quite frankly. Today I started cutting them off and shouted back at them that I'm still talking, stop cutting me off. It's frustrating because if they'd let me talk then and maybe then would could I actually answer their questions! It's upsetting because some of their mistakes has lead my kids to be in discomfort longer than they should, they have bad asthma and food allergies. Pharmacy refused to give my son his script which is his mental health medication! Because they loaned him three when he was out. We wanted to take it to cvs because we have had so many issues with this store and they refused to give him his own prescription!!! They said that the insurance wasn't covering it and it was pending but sure enough take it to cvs and there is no issue whatsoever!!! (My son finally got an appointment with his doctor and the doctor sent it to cvs) My son had to be without his medication for almost a month!!! Thank god he was stable enough to make it through this situation!! Horrible pharmacist!! I could go on and on about this place! Horrible pharmacy! They said there was an issue with our insurance. Nope, called them, they said they never even filed a complaint against the insurance. Called them ag as in, again they told me we didn't have insurance...lol. They aren't 24 hours anymore either so no point in the hassle and lies. The pharmacist today must be having a really bad day, due to the coronavirus? Idk... I called in a prescription refill yesterday, the automated system said it would be ready by 10 AM today. When I arrived there around 1 PM today,?the pharmacist said "oh it was picked up last night at 7:32". I had not been out of my pajamas all day long, why, because were in lockdown anyways due to this Coronavirus... So she went to go get the manager because I never picked up the prescription and then she started telling me that there was no prescription for me and that I needed to go to urgent care. I told her that I had enough medicine for another day or so and she kept getting angry with me, telling me that there was no prescription for me so I continue to ask why the automated system did not tell me that My prescription will be ready tomorrow (which is today) at 10 AM? And she told me to go to urgent care and I told her I don't need to go to urgent care nor do I want to go to urgent care with sick people because I am high-risk and she continue to get angrier and angrier with me. I told her I didn't want to get into an argument with her I just wanted to know why the automated system did not identify that there was no refills. Period. And she reiterated the same thing "go to urgent care". I finally asked her, "could you just contact my doctor's office to request refills?" "I've already done that, you just need to go to urgent care" was her snotty, hastily, angry reply. Geez!!! Seriously, she was yelling at me!! Maybe she's out of toilet paper herself and wishes she could go shopping for supplies instead of working. Idk!!! It was really poor customer service. Then 10 minutes ago (while transcribing this text) l got a text from Walgreens telling me the prescription is out of refills and they are contacting the doctors office for refills...!?!?!?? 2 1/2 hrs after l was there to pick up the prescription. Calm down everyone. Be nice, be courteous, be helpful, but do not verbally attack people. Thankfully l don't do my regular pharmacy pickups with them. My normal pharmacy didn't have this particular prescription when l first tried to get it over a yr ago. So l had to bring it to them since then that is where those refills have had to go. Next time l go to my doctor l will have them give me a prescription for future needs. CVS has a higher volume of customers and yet they handle their volume excellently. Not Walgreens. Wallgreens on yucaipa blvd and 4th, is allways really busy, you have to stand in long lines The clerk are very helpful, I get my medications, there , and I never have any trouble, they are allways ready when they say they are. you can call in ahead of time and order your prescription and tell then when you want it, and it's allways ready. I'm sorry to say this is worst pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune to visit. I've been 3 times in the last month for a variety of concerns, each time left waiting for an inordinate amount of time. For an antibiotic dose, I was told 15 minuets which took 45 and I was the only one waiting. The second antibiotic was supposed to be a 15 minute wait and took an hour and a half. I'm here picking up a prescription that should take "5 minutes, please take a seat," and it's been more than 40. There were 8 cars unmoving in the drive thru line, and there are 8 other customers in the waiting area with me. Precisely one person has been served in the past 40 minutes. Please please take your time and business to CVS down the boulevard. This is unpleasant to say the least. read more

I've had my prescriptiona here for years and the last year of two has convinced me to change pharmacies. EVERY TIME I call they have me hold for at least 10-15 minute, then they pick up and hang up on me! (This has happened over a long period of time, months and months) It's so frustrating and rude! I just spent a bunch of money at this wal greens. When I got home the lip stick I bought wasn't in any of the bags. We checked and double checked. We called the store and told them and they said to come back in and they'd take care of us. When we got there they said we will have to check the video tape. We waited half an hour while the guy who bagged it checked the tape. They came back and said the lipstick went into the bag, but would not let us see the tape. The manager in the evening is so helpful and devastatingly handsome, it hurts. Running into him seriously makes my heart flutter like a butterfly. He always helps me out whenever I'm lost amidst aisles of medication..such a difficult task for someone like me to handle :-/ I also love it when the cashiers offer me to buy chocolates..um YES! This store is normally slow in customer service, but can be tolerated . I go to this store but not after this last experience; I bought a cosmetic item that was hanging under the price of $5.99. There were no other prices labeled on this display which had several of these items, I realized after I left the store that I had been charged $11.99 , when I went back and showed the sales person where the mistake had been made she sent me to wait in line to get a different clerk to call a manager. The Manager was rude , curt ,and contentious.
