    Great jerky!
    Amanda C.

Review is for the beef jerky!!! This place seriously has the best beef jersey in the Inland Empire area. There's many jersey options to choose from such as smoked, teriyaki, salty, sweet, brisket... and more. The price is about fair compared to other similar jerky places. This compares to the jerky place in Bishop, Ca for those who are familiar with that. If you are in the area, define stop by for some jerky! Note: this is also a mini market / liquor store. My review does not reflect other food options as I only stopped by for the jerky.

    Don't go here!!

Went here with my friend after a hike. When we went in, there was crap everywhere. It was a maze to get anywhere and looked very dingy. The old white guy who was stacking nuts asked us what language we spoke. I ignored him but my friend answered, "ENGLISH." He continued to be RACIST and IGNORANT by guessing her ethnicity saying, "Korean? Japanese?" Dude take a damn hint and STOP TALKING, YOU IDIOT. When he finally guessed right, he attempted to say "ni hao." My friend informed him that she speaks a different dialect but he continued to sound uneducated by asking her, "Do people ask you how your knee is?" and pointed to his knee. What a dumbass... worker? Owner? Low grade human! With everything going on right now with racism and injustice, I am appalled by my experience here. I made my best effort to not start shit in an all white store, but gross!!!!!!!! I'm disgusted. You suck. Jerky was SUBPAR and OVERPRICED. $42/lb

Had to put an Oregon trip off for a week because I couldn't find chains to fit larger snow tires. Amazon was a 2 week wait and $325-450! Hit Greenspot up and they had them in stock for $189!!! Garys son, forgot his name showed me some love and even threw in the tensioners for free. Well the chains fit perfect and got a serious use from Redding Calif to Ashland Oregon. Put them on when i hit 18-24" of fresh powder with no plows on I5. Great service and thanks for the save!

Ben is the best! Although I wish he could be there every day, he's built a great crew that's both kind and efficient. I love the small-town charm of Uptown Wine Merchant. It's perfectly located, inviting, and by far my favorite place to meet friends for a drink. The beer and wine selection is impressive, and they even carry my favorite Champagne brands at unbeatable prices. Thank you, Ben, for giving Yucaipa this diamond in the rough.

They've gotten to know us, and our tastes and they always make great recommendations, as well as setting up some very interesting tastings. And, for the non-wine drinker, they've also got a selection of craft beers and ciders. WINES: Ben's shop carries a great selection of wines, focusing on small batch producers, "unique" varietals, organic wines, natural wines, biodynamic wines, certified carbon neutral wines, and local wines. You can do a tasting or purchase a glass or bottle to enjoy onsite. There's a tasting bar up front, as well as bar top tables inside, and a spacious patio outside. I feel that bottle prices are very reasonable, and we usually end up leaving with 5 or 6 bottles based on our tastings and Ben's recommendations. There's on street parking in the front, as well as a small parking lot in the rear. I highly recommend you stop in and give them a try when in the area. NOTE: They don't serve food, however Woodhaus Pizza is right next door and you're more than welcome to pick up something there or bring in your own munchies.

Produce has consistently been good quality, shelves stay neatly stocked. The endcaps are always good for inspiration-- I definitely fall prey to those impulse buys. Lol For now it basically has its own parking lot, which is a nice change from most TJs locations where people are circling for a spot like vultures. Spaces are nice and wide, which is great for all the giant trucks in Yucaipa. :-) Fingers crossed that the parking situation stays good! My only gripe is that a few times the younger staff work ethic at this location has seemed a little below the normal TJs standard. Ex: During a rush, I'm used to seeing available staff head to the registers to ring people up and bag their groceries so the lines go quickly and don't back up. I've been in a few times where that hasn't happened and it feels weird waiting in a longer line at TJs. By and large though, the staff is great. They'd be A++ at Albertsons but I hold TJs staff to a higher standard. So not *really* an issue, just me being fussy.

Building took place early last year and my wife was tipped off by one of the Panera workers that the ultimate final form would be a Trader Joe's (and a shopping mall with a chicken joint and a Kaiser in the back). This store seems extra spacious. Even though there wasn't the traditional murals and decor, this Trader Joe's is STILL AMAZING. Everyone was also super friendly and said hello with a bright smile! There were a lot of people but it was quite spacious with ample parking. Unfortunately, my bank account will take a toll with all the snacks I bought today.
