My choice for produce when I go to Redlands. They've always got some great fruits and vegetables; I got in season strawberries long before May because they had a great harvest during the hot spring. Every time I come here, I pick up pounds of oranges and citrus for my family. Occasionally there are some interesting things sold here, like the one time I bought two Buddha's hands on a whim! Even though I've never eaten it before, I learned so much and I got it for half the price it would've been at Whole Foods ($12 for one). Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. They also sell fire wood, avocados, eggs, milk, etc. everything you need for a full trip to the grocery store or even a pit stop for a camping trip. read more

Great place to buy local produce! They always have a beautiful selection of citrus, potatoes, tomatoes, avocados, and eggs. Other produce is more seasonal so it's hit and miss. During the spring and summer they have the best strawberries in town. Prices are great and items are better quality than any grocery store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. After I was done driving down the mountain, I saw Jacinto Farms on the left and had to drop in. It was around Halloween, so they had the whole back area full of beautiful pumpkins. Of course, I picked on the the biggest ones that was perfect for carving. I also picked up a 25 pound bag of oranges for $10 and a few other items. The oranges weren't the best for eating, but they were good for juicing. The peaches I picked up with nice and just needed a few days to soften up. read more

The person barely greeted us - it was forced and when asked a question, their tone was cold, like you could tell they didn't want to be there. How sad the people who cared are things of the past and your stuck with sour attitude. I live in LA and it's quite a drive to get here but if you live in the area or just happen to be in the area, you should stop here and buy some fresh fruits and veggies! The fruits and veggies looked and tasted fresh, especially if you're used to big box market produce (which generally isn't that fresh!). I bought romaine lettuce that was huge! I made like a weeks worth of sale from one head of romaine! The avocados were so creamy and delicious! I'll stop by every time I'm in the area! read more

So much more than a roadside stand... they have Air Conditioning! That means a lot... when you get your ripe fruits home, they don't spoil as fast. I am so glad they have the AC running, especially in the Summer when temps move into the 100's. The strawberries and blackberries in late Spring are delicious! I also love that you can purchase some fresh organic herbs (mint, basil, dill etc) in small bunches for $1.50. They have a beautiful selection of heirloom tomatoes when they are in season. I am always happy to make the trip to this locally grown produce stand! I usually end up eating a lot of my fruit haul in the car on the way home. I shop here every two weeks on my way to BigBear. It is a place where the food is nonGMO, organic and fresh. There are an abundance of veggies and fruits to choose from , all displayed in a clean and orderly fashion. The melons are super flavorful and juicy. The peaches are scrumptious (today I bought extra to freeze so I can use them in the coming months). The plums are so good. The lettuce is crisp and colorful. They have potatoes of many kinds. They have organic honey that is the best I've ever tasted. They have avocados and zucchini. They have oranges in various size bags that are prefect for juicing. The garlic is so good, the aroma when peeling is enough to stir up an appetite, and the cloves are huge. The people who work there are friendly. The store is always clean and inviting. They often have random things for sale, like handmade soap, which smells heavenly. Everyone I have shared this store with love it as much as I do. I wanted to give this place a 10 star rating as I had heard very good things about the produce. I have yet to try said produce but I presume it lives up to the tales. However, the poultry was paltry and I wasn't satisfied with the bright yellow yolks that came from those eggs. The best eggs on the farmer's market are three times the weight of commercial eggs and their yolks are a deep delicious orange. These yellow yolks were just the same that I could find at the local Stater Bros and so they did not please my palate. Get your eggs at Arnott Farms as they are hefty with high quality orange yolks that are like fatty silk on the tongue. read more

Just happened upon Jacinto produce market and not at all what I was expecting. What a treat. The variety of items was astounding, and often in shapes and sizes we'd never seen before. Squash! There were at least ten different types of tomatoes. We bought some heirloom which tasted completely different than what you would find in a regular grocery. Stone fruit! This is my go-to place for food. I wouldn't pay a bent penny extra for organic food, and I don't at Jacinto Farms. The value is high, the produce is fresh, and it's all locally grown. Thats o say nothing of the varieties of produce you can get here you simply can't get elsewhere without paying a premium. Their avocados are unbeatable. I've looked and tasted everywhere. It's my favorite food, and the season for reed avocados from here is my own personal Christmas. That in no way diminishes Christmas, but exhalts it. The staff are usually well informed on all of the produce and can help you pick out what you need, at the ripeness you need it. read more

I was a frequent visitor of the Redlands location as it was closer to me. I was sad to see it close, but still happy that the OG location in Mentone was still around. I stopped by here to get my favorite Cara Cara oranges.The store is pretty big, with plenty of fresh produce like lettuce, onions, potatoes, peppers, citrus fruits, and avocados. They also sell other items like soap, jerky, BBQ sauce, jams, and trail mix. In my visit, I was a little weirded out when two staff members were focused on stocking items when I was ready to purchase my Cara Caras. It kind of took them a while to get their attention even though I was pretty close to them. Sorry to make the comparison but I was always treated nicely at the Redlands location (and the difference in experience is apparent). Also, the cara caras weren't very good yet, more sour to the taste. I think they would have been better later on the season perhaps. Overall, I still like Jacinto Farms and while I know this is the OG location, I wish the Redlands location was still available! Still, this is a good place to get fresh produce in the Redlands/Mentone area! read more

I saw this place on the way up Highway 38 going to Big Bear, and I knew I'd have to make a stop on my way back down the mountain. The orange juice they sell is so fresh that I got seeds in my mouth while drinking it. Absolutely delicious, but it also comes with a warning that since it hasn't been pasteurized it may contain bacteria harmful to the elderly, babies and those with weakened immune systems. I'm none of those things, so I enjoyed the hell out of it. I grab a bag of fresh oranges for $2, grapefruits for $2, a bag of purple potatoes (yes, as in the actual flesh looks like something out of Willy Wonka) for under $2, a fat juicy tomato for under $1 and a head of some of the best lettuce I've ever had for $1. I would have bought more, but organic foods spoil much faster than store bought stuff, so I didn't want to get more than I knew I could consume in a few days. This is definitely my new spot to hit up every time I head home from a day on the slopes. Well worth it, not only because you're eating well, but to support local, organic farming that most people aren't able to enjoy. read more
