Cool spot with a variety of places to eat or drink. Been here a few times - 1 was for their speakeasy (previously reviewed) and others just to get food or drinks with a group of friends. This past visit, we got food from both Fred's Red Tacos and Baba's Chicken. My food from Baba's was delicious. Loaded fries of some sort and everything on it was just perfect and complimented each other. My friends got Tacos and thoroughly enjoyed their food as well. You order from a kiosk but then are greeted by someone when your order is ready, from that specific place. Each time I've gone, I've had good customer service. We eventually saw a sign advertising free parking in the structure, but following it only led us to a dead-end area, which was very frustrating. Be aware that the parking signage can be misleading. We finally found street parking, but it was limited to 90 minutes. In the end, we only spent about 15 minutes inside before leaving. Overall, we much prefer the Anaheim Packing District and Haven City Market. They offer a much better experience, including easier parking. read more

Similar to San Diego's Liberty Public Market but with fewer restaurant selections which isn't a bad thing. We arrived around 11a on a Sunday and easily found parking. There wasn't a crowd but things definitely picked up around noon. The Public Market included a variety of restaurant stalls from bbq, chicken sandwiches, sushi, ramen, Mediterranean, Filipino cafes, etc. They also had a little arcade corner with claw machines for some fun! I ordered a banana matcha with crystal boba, oatmilk and light ice, from Tsoko Cafe, one of the Filipino cafes I mentioned. It was amazing and did not disappoint. There was plenty of seating but definitely filled up quickly. Get there before noon if you're aiming to grab seats and avoid large crowds. Would go again! read more

We had such a fun time at Redlands Public Market! My husband and I came out for a date night, and it was my first time there. It totally gave me Packing House District in Anaheim vibes, lively, welcoming, and full of options. There are so many different places to eat, plus a bar, so you can really pick whatever you're craving. The night we went, they were hosting trivia, which made it even more fun. We ended up joining in and had the best time. The whole place just has a really good vibe. Prices were reasonable (what you'd expect anywhere similar), and there's something for everyone. Most recently, Yelp held an event in collaboration with Baba's Hot Chicken (BHC). I was so excited BHC is located in Redlands Public Market (RPM). My first time at RPM. It is located in vibrant downtown Redlands. Fun fact, it's housed in an historic 1890 landmark packing house. I love history. So cool! RPM recently grand opened in February 2025. It's not even 6 months old. It now houses over 20+ family and locally run businesses to serve us yummy and delicious foods, drinks, and entertainment. I can vouch for that because I've been here and I know what it offers to its local community. Limited street parking. Do not park at nearby businesses. Please read the signs. Free public structured parking is available on the north side of train tracks on Stuart accessible via Orange or Eureka Streets. It is an easy few minutes walk from parkng structure to RPM. Good outdoor and indoor seatings available. Entertainment courtyard featuring live music, creator markets, and more. Arcade is also here via Supernova Slice Pizza Arcade. I came here on a Thursday night. Lots of people. I got foods and drinks from 4 different vendors. Self-ordering kiosks plus QR scan codes are available. Prices will vary from vendor to vendor. YOUNG FOOD HALL w/ GREAT CHICKEN! I visited Redlands Public Market during a Yelp Elite event at Baba's and absolutely loved the food there. If you're looking for chicken sandwiches that surpass your typical fast food, Baba's is the spot. My sandwich was a good size and the fries were amazing. That being said, Baba's was the only highlight during this visit. My family and I tried some overpriced falafels from Fufu's, the food was almost burnt. Aside from that, we didn't feel a welcoming atmosphere at a majority of these food shops other than Baba's. Staff seemed disengaged and several patrons had really bad attitudes. The Japanese restaurant was very pompous and its patrons had 24/7 stank face, we skipped that one. Food halls are supposed to be fun, I don't know why people were so sour. I'll credit the Public Market for its large seating area and spacious tables. I also noticed staff were cleaning regularly as customers came and went. They advertised some cool shirts in the front but they weren't selling anything, this got me a little disappointed. Parking was a hot mess, the signage was poor and they expect you to pull over on a busy street to scan a QR code that's hard to access unless you're walking on the sidewalk. If you' don't scan this, your first visit looking for the food hall's parking structure will be a messy one. Good news for you, I'll tell you where it is! If my tastebuds had legs they'd Jump Around! Jump Around! Now let's jump up and Get Down! The place has a rustic old school style but still feeling modern. They also have a sweet outside patio for that chill alfresco dining experience. Occasionally they have a live DJ spinning the tracks and having some cool giveaways. The market has a nice variety of different types of food like burgers pizza, desserts and my favorite sushi spot for that area. Plenty of parking around the joint and the area is quite eye pleasing. This would be 5 stars if they fixed their parking situation. If you have a handicap van that is taller then 8'2, you might as well go somewhere else. They have no parking for anything taller which means now we can't go anymore now that the place that was once a theater won't let anyone park in their over 100 empty parking spaces. Pros: Variety of food options, Redlands mural was painted by my friend! Cons: Parking is hideous! Great addition to Redlands. Kind of feels like a smaller scale version of Anaheim Packing District. The variety of restaurants and eateries is done pretty well. There's some outdoor seating but I wish there was more. Last time I was there, it looked like there was a patio area being developed next to the main building and next door retail building. The restrooms are downstairs via stairwell. I'm not remembering if there is an elevator. They heavily advertise community events open to families. I haven't had the chance to come out to their public events - but if I did, I'd have to pre-plan the parking situation. While the Metrolink parking garage is large, it fills up quickly on busier days. Since the theater parking is not for packing district, your only other parking option is street parking which is also limited. Thankfully the Redlands Mall is up the street and not too far a walk (5-7 minutes). read more

It was confusing at first waking into the market, but I quickly realized that you had to place your order on the kiosks. You can order from all of the restaurants of of the same kiosk. You then go to that restaurant to pick up your order when it's ready. They had lots of seating in the center of the market, but it was a little noisy. We decided to try it a small table best the restaurant that we ordered from, but there was a young child near us who would not stop screaming. We ended up sitting outside. It was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the view as well. If you don't mind loud crowds then you should be fine. But there's always the option to sit outside. read more

Yes -- I'd make this one positive overall but very clear that the heat seriously hurts the experience. That way it reads as constructive feedback rather than just a complaint. Redlands Marketplace has a really great variety of options, and that's probably one of my favorite things about it. There's something for pretty much everyone--pizza, BBQ, sweets, Asian cuisine, Italian food, alcohol, and more. I've tried a few different spots inside and have had really good experiences with the food. My biggest complaint is the HEAT. I understand there are constantly people coming in and out, which probably makes it difficult to keep the marketplace cool, but it gets incredibly hot inside. I'm not sure what the solution would be--better ventilation, more powerful AC, opening up part of the space, more fans, something--but it definitely needs improvement. It's hard to fully enjoy good food, good drinks, and good company when you're sweating like a little piggy the entire time. The food and variety are absolutely worth visiting for, but a cooler, more comfortable environment would make the overall experience SO much better. I'd personally keep the "sweating like a little piggy" line--it gives the criticism some personality without making the review sound mean. read more

Prices do range so it's great for all folks. The architecture is true to historic Redlands which is much appreciated. Security walks around which gives it a safe environment for kids. Hours are misleading... online says they open at 8am but the food hall doesn't really open until 11am for lunch (with the exception of one breakfast spot that opens early). Kudos to Redlands for opening a food hall in downtown. There's plenty of parking throughout. There's a parking garage but we didn't need it since it was a Sunday night. They were busy but there were plenty of seats inside and out. The choices of eateries and bars were great with more to come! I would like more dessert choices.
