Located at 24480 Village Walk Pl, Murrieta, CA, United States, 92562. I've been coming here for years for the fresh local produce and to support the many wonderful local vendors. There is always such a great variety. You can find beautiful produce from local farmers, fresh made-to-order food, olive oils and balsamic vinegars, handmade soaps, jewelry, and even unique items like dog leashes and toys made from fire hoses. There is always something interesting to discover, and new vendors seem to pop up regularly. One of my favorite things after coming here for so many years is getting to know some of the vendors and seeing their friendly, smiling faces week after week. It really gives the market that wonderful local community feel. The produce has always been fresh and delicious, there is plenty of parking, and I rarely leave empty-handed. Such a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning and a Murrieta tradition I continue to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit!

There is lots of local vendors, food trucks, artisans selling handcrafted goods. There are also several shops and restaurants open in the area. Live music acts through the market. Kid and family friendly. I highly recommend this farmers market happening in historic Downtown Murrieta on the first and third Thursday of each month from 5-9 p.m.

My one "pet peeve" tho, why so many dogs around when I'm trying to get fresh produce sans dog fur? Gross... they have a "No Dogs Allowed" sign at one of the entrances but perhaps they should invest in multiple signs and hopefully the irresponsible dog owners will follow directions.

The aisles are spotless, the customer service is consistently great, and the made-to-order juice bar is a fantastic touch that really sets this place apart. That said, it's definitely on the pricey side, so it's more of a treat when the budget allows. The meat selection , especially the steaks it's expensive, but you can clearly tell the quality and freshness are there. Their beer selection is another big plus, especially if you enjoy IPAs and craft beers. They also have the Big Baron Cookie upfront when you first walk in so you can take one of those to go. The Big Baron cookie is a $4 and it is absolutely well worth it. It is soft, large, and delicious. I also purchased a variety of the flourless cookies in the fresh baked case. I got: Black and White Cookies, Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies, and snickerdoodle cookies. All were delicious. Great customer services from the cashier, a young man who was helpful. Most of the vendors were friendly and some offered samples. It's perfect because it's outside the promenade away from the crowdedness (far from the stores & close up parking) and you're not worrying about people driving through. The have produce, most organic, honey & gifts like jewelry etc. There are at least three or more in Temecula and this ones nice.

Several times I HAD to educate the people, and either they are oblivion to the fact that dog's paws do burn severely, or they are just plain stupid and do not care? The CL board who is responsible for the market either do not care to mention to their residents to keep their dogs t home, or they do not care either and just want people to come and buy no matter what. Basically a series of booths selling olive oil baskets, some fruits and vegetables and not much else. It was a very nice add to the plaza and I'm happy that I had the opportunity to see it because my intention was just having a coffee shop The Press espresso. This plaza is very charming, with a lot of trees, boutiques, coffee, shop, restaurants, and big Central space to enjoy the farmers market itself or other activities, this is a must visit in Temecula.

I came here just to try Press Espresso, one of few shops and eateries at this plaza, but didn't realize it was in such a historic place. I initially thought all the shops here were recently build to look like the old west, but in reading about the history on its website, learned that this area has been in existence since 1867. According to the website, it has been the heart of Temecula since then. Originally built by German immigrant, Louis Wolf, it was used as a trading post next to Temecula Creek. After his death in 1905, area was purchased by Arizona cattle baron, Walter Vail, who turned it into a cattle ranch. In 1964, it was sold to developers who turned it into a master-planned community. The area remained vacant for several decades until it was restored fully in 2007. This place now houses several unique shops and eateries, and is also used for events and Farmers Market. This is actually a plaza within a bigger plaza, which has more commercial retailers like Kohl's, Walmart, Marshalls, and several others. Kind of an odd mix, but glad the city decided to keep a portion of its history alive.
