Come here hungry!!! There are So many food options for about 15$ and under, I tried jade's vegan sushi 5/5 except this place charges tax with my food. The other food places around the area did not, so just heads up! I also got jerk chicken at one stand, and maple fried chicken sandwich nearby. This market has something for everyone, highly recommend coming here! Lots of fruits to try, vegetables to buy, a band to listen, this place opens all year round every Thursday when there is no rain of 40% or more. I am so happy I got to come here as this place was very fun and great to support locals! It is so great that they have this market on a weekday late at night for those who work on the weekends early morning and unable to get fresh fruits/vegetables. Lots of places take cards which was FANTASTIC! The place does get pack so parking is definitely hard to find.

Spicy country corn with butter and mayonnaise! So good!

I met up with a group of friends recently to explore this weekly event. I found street parking close by with ease. There were many vendors selling fresh produce to unique specialized items! But honestly, we came to try out a variety of food that was available. It was pretty cold so there weren't too many people here. The highlights were the country corn, dirty fries and caramel kettle popcorn! The country corn was fantastic. I got the sweet and spicy corn drenched in butter and mayonnaise. I added more spices and lime juice for powerful flavor profiles! My palate loved it! The dirty fries was also packed with great flavor! It was fries topped with bbq pulled pork, cheese sauce and fresh jalapenos. The caramel kettle corn was hot and fresh with the perfect light crispy texture and sweetness of the caramel. It was so addicting! I also tried the carne asada fries, a vegan curry entree, and Thai chicken skewer which were okay. The bbq sampler plate was disappointing. The tri tip and chicken was dry, the pork was okay and I wasn't a fan of their bbq sauce. Not enough tang to it. Overall, it was an interesting event and I had fun strolling around with my friends. I heard there are many more vendors(especially food) during spring and summer so I look forward to coming back and exploring more eating opportunities.

Vegan Sante Fe burrito.

Ask the Community - Redlands Market Night

Is Market Night coming back in 2022?

My understanding is that the downtown businesses don't want it back. They say that it only interferes with their own business, I think it's a shame because Market Night was an attraction for the whole city of Redlands.

Has COVID impacted market night?

Yes, it has been has halted during the public health emergency and the city will announce when it will resume. Saturday morning farmers market returns June 13.

Does anyone know what the fee is to become a vendor?

When market night reopens, you will see application and fees here: https://portal.conventionforce.com/?aid=71

What happened to the jerky booth that used to be there. The baggies were black with green print?

I believe they come once or twice a month. Kind of a hit or miss... sucks because there jerky is really good.

There used to be more vendors selling here, but that's ok. I still like shopping for fresh vegetables from local growers. My favorite is buying honey that is harvested locally. The farmers here selling their produce are always friendly and they offer samples of fruit if you ask. Then of course, you can't miss the smell of the food being cooked by the food vendors as well. If you haven't had your breakfast yet, don't miss out on buying pupusas or tamales or whatever you're hungry for that morning. Enjoy your morning eating here after you shop.

Aside from produce, nuts, and bread...there are a couple of food vendors. Decided to try 2 - Mimi's Pupusas & AEM'S Kitchen on 03/22/25. Ordered 2 pupusas from Mimi's - revueltas. They weren't bad but for $5 each we were hoping for better. All we could taste were beans - no pork, no cheese. I'm sure they were in there, maybe? The watermelon water was good but overpriced. Ordered chicken Pad Thai from AEM'S Kitchen. It was decent but pricey. Anyway, we're going to try something different next time we go.
