A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of coming to Yucaipa Performing Arts Center for the first time. What a gem of a place! A group of us were attending a live musical performance. The parking across the street was plentiful at the time we we arrived. We were checked in with our tickets and arm banded to indicate we were of age. We only carried what we needed in our pockets, so don't know if there would have been a more thorough security check if we carried bags. The people we met at entrance were friendly and welcoming. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful landscaped, outdoor space. Plenty of patio style seating with cushions, colorful lighting, fireplaces, and overall, a "Hey! Have a seat and hang out with your friends in this nice open air space!" Kind of vibe. There are outdoor screens so folks who wish to not be inside can enjoy the same live experience outside. Adjacent to the room the DJ and band were in, was more seating with couches, pool table, and other games, a big screen to watch the performance, and on this particular night, opportunity to get flash tattoos from a local artisan. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. The merch line was long but well organized. There was alcohol for sale. It was General Admission "seating" which allowed the crowd plenty of space to sing, dance, mosh, and move in and out of the space easily. The sound system took a bit to dial in, but once set, the place rocked. The stage area was spacious enough for the band to work all areas of the stage and shallow enough that we could still easily see the drummer. The AC was on, so even with everyone dancing it up, it remained fresh. Which is thing with sweaty bodies! After, folks congregated in the other areas. Staff were cool about letting folks hang out for a pretty long while afterwards, and were friendly and respectful when having to wrap it up. Overall, a great event space! I attended the YPAC for their monthly comedy night. The comedic performances were extremely funny, but I have one significant complaint. PROSPECTIVE ATTENDEES SHOULD BE AWARE. The YPAC website states that there is a bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; however, this is misleading--in reality, only beer and wine are available. The selection consisted of drinks like Twisted Teas, White Claw, crappy beer, and red wine. They failed to chill the white wine until just before the event began. They did offer canned cocktails, but it seemed YPAC only obtained a single case, as these were sold out almost instantly. Canned cocktails were being sold for $18/can. The establishment was clearly unprepared. It was frustrating to discover that their advertised promise of "alcoholic beverages" is so ambiguous that it can be interpreted in virtually any way. My suggestion is for YPAC to update its website to be honest and transparent and explicitly state that they serve only beer and wine so ticket buyers can make informed decisions about their night. Been living in the area for a few years. Never knew Yucaipa had a performing arts center. Watched a magic show here. The room was small and intimate. I would say there are no bad seats in the house. Magic show was decent. Would definitely came back again to watch a show in this venue. read more

I was there months ago country line dancing, and we were getting headaches and it was hard to breathe and now they're using them again tonight for the country night again! Unbelievable... Why why why do you need those fog machines?? I couldn't make it tonight, but I heard from my family that is there... Don't bother calling, they don't answer. I had tickets to the rave and tried calling the number a few times and no one answered.

I cannot say enough great things about the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center (YPAC). YPAC offers so many opportunities and entertainment for the local community. My daughter performs here regularly for their open mic events and it is ran extremely professionally. We are grateful there is an opportunity for up and coming musicians and artists to perform here. We have seen concerts here, watched a play on Christmas Eve, went ice skating just before new years, my daughter even had her homecoming dance here and it was AMAZING! During the pandemic, when all churches were closed, our church utilized this outdoor space so we could still attend church in a safe manner. YPAC in conveniently located right on Yucaipa Blvd, and is within walking distance of craft breweries and upscale restaurants. It is surrounded by a super cute and cool part of town. If you are looking for entertainment, classes for art, acting, or music, or performance opportunities, you must check out YPAC! I'm honestly surprised that this place doesn't have more reviews. Went to Yucaipa Performing Arts Center tonight for the first time to see Steel Magnolias.... On the plus side, the performances of the cast was very good..Really enjoyed the play...I did find the radio playing while they were speaking very distracting ..They say the stage is 360, but i was very happy that we got seats in the front section, cause the other 3 section don't have a very good view of the mojority of the show. Parking was very easy and plentiful The crew working were all very pleasant... The missing star is because of the seats...Extremely uncomfortable for all 4 of us...3 of us have plenty of padding, but really hard to stay seated for the entire show.. read more

Here for our first indoor concert. We are seeing the ABBA show (which is just ok). The venue is nice and new. It's a small space, 250 max. There are folding chairs way up front, not sure how much people paid to sit there but I wouldn't be happy with folding chairs. I bought tickets in the balcony wings (first two seats towards the stage) and I am pretty happy with them. Only $25 a seat for this concert. If you sit here you should be aware that the railing does block part of your view. The pros outweigh the cons of the seats tho in my opinion. Nice floor space around the chair, bigger arm rests then the main seating area and no one sitting to the back or front of you. If you like space then I highly recommend the wing seats. Nice selection of drinks and snacks in the foyer. Bottled water is $2. We plan on returning again since it's conveniently down the street. :) read more

Really great local venue. Wife and I attended a ballet company recital at this venue. It's a beautiful and seemingly multipurpose space. Only recommendation, stay away from the balcony seats. They don't offer a full view and should really just be removed. read more

Where on Earth would you see a line up like this let alone in our little one horse town of Yucaipa.Everyone needs to wake up and check out these Fantastic bands that come and play for us at the YPAC! My wife and I have enjoyed every on of these concerts.Do yourself a favor and see the Great entertainment that Yucaipa has to offer you will not be disappointed.On second thought maybe you would like to make the haul to SoFi stadium And pay 100.00 to park and 16.00 for a liter of bottled water. read more

Would have given it 4 stars but they changed seating. Before you brought your own (comfy) chair. Older concert goers complained and now EVERYONE sits in foldable chairs. Why not just have chairs available for those who forgot to bring their (comfy) chair? We won't be back. The foldable chairs hurt the back of us who are old but not that old. read more

The concerts are awesome. The only issue I have is that the lights blaring in your face.. It's hard to watch the concert..

First time last night at the venue. Great weather, really clean. Great show we saw Pat Benatar. We saved so much money. Last time we saw her in LA. Fuel $50, Parking $40, tickets, $200 food and beverage $200. Last night in our home town Fuel 0, Parking 0, Tickets $100, Food and Beverage $100 ! We saved $290 , we didn't have to spend our Sunday on the freeway for five hours and we were home by 9:15pm. Thank you City of Yucaipa, I will return over and over again. So far I have been so pleased and excited that Yucaipa has a new performing arts Center. So far we have seen the Pat Benatar show which was fabulous except for the polls that you may have to sit behind that have the ADA section signs on them. Those sort of block your view. We also went to see the Abba show which was fantastic. It was fun to have the whole audience involved in the show. So we have experienced one outdoor concert and one indoor concert. I do have tickets for my family and I for the Irish Christmas in December. One of my only complaints with the indoor theater is that the snack bar doesn't offer any coffee items. I was told that there is no kitchen at the performing arts center so they can't offer coffee beverages. I think even if they plugged in a Keurig coffee maker and sold flavored coffee they would sell a lot, especially now that it's colder at night.. My only other criticism is when they do have an outdoor concert they put up the ugly cyclone fence around the entire venue and it really detracts from how the performing arts center looks. All in all I am very pleased with the new center and I feel that when arts come into a community it does nothing but improve everything. read more
