My husband surprised me with a trip to the Lavender Festival at 123 Farms for my birthday after a friend recommended it, and it was such a sweet and memorable experience. The farm is beautiful, especially around sunset when the light hits the lavender fields just right. It made for such a peaceful and scenic evening -- definitely one of the highlights of the day. There were a lot of cute vendor booths with lavender-themed products, and we enjoyed wandering through the market. I had the lavender lemonade and picked up a few small gifts and treats to take home. Some items were a bit pricey, but overall it felt worth it for the experience. It did get a little crowded, so I'd suggest arriving earlier if you want a quieter visit. Still, the setting, the vibe, and the golden-hour views made it feel really special. Perfect for a relaxing birthday outing or a unique summer date.

Such a fun girls night out activity. I'm a big lavender fan so this was right up my alley! Really nice place to sit around to chill and catch up. If presented the chance, definitely order the lavender inspired goat cheese pizza pictured below. Usually not a fan of goat cheese but this pizza blew me away and may have converted me.

Pizza was ok. $4 for that tiny cup of "lavender ranch"

Hated the lavender festival. First off parking was crazy. $25 to park in a mostly empty dirt field. I had to change my shoes so they didn't get covered in dirt. There's no other option for parking because they have such a long driveway that no one will walk through it. We went for the food and that was very disappointing as well. We ordered a chicken sandwich and some lavender steak fries and a mini cheese pizza. Everything was super over priced and extremely bland. Chicken had zero flavor to it. The fries had lavender sauce which didn't taste right with fries. The pizza was decent, but one cup of "lavender ranch" was $4 for half a cup. I don't know what else people come here for. Sure there's lavender trees or plants or whatever everywhere and some random art but the price was not justified with the entry and parking fees.

Coming from LA, it's a far trek especially when it's mostly sitting through traffic. I tried to keep expectations down because instagram photos seems they have been altered or photoshopped. The fields were smaller than I imagined but you can get a few good shots esp during the golden hour. Everything seems to be $20, from entrance ticket, parking, burger, pizza, drinks, dessert, and souvenirs. Everything has a hint of lavender although quite honestly I don't really taste it in the food other than the lavender ice cream (tasty but overpriced). At least they claim it's organic. Most of the workers are high school students working a summer job. Between 4 persons we spent almost $300 bucks, I'll probably save up more money to go to Disneyland instead. This is a one and done experience.

I am obsessed with this lavender festival. The 123 farms is such a beautiful property and they grow an array of different plants and botanicals. The lavender and bloom is so magical. Also, the entertainment and food and drinks are top-notch. I had a lavender whiskey sour, my mom had a lavender lemonade, and we each had delicious pizza, lavender ice cream, and lavender donuts. I loved hearing about how essential oils are made right there on the property! Be sure you go over to where the old hotel is to find dozens of little shops, galleries, restaurants, wine, bar, coffee, bar, etc. They have everything. You'll definitely be leaving with something. I've been twice with my mom and plan on going again. But go in late June or July when the lavender is in full bloom. This is one of my favorite places to go!

I feel, the lavender haze creeping up on me! Surreal, trying to taste everything that people make! I just wanna stay, in this lavender haze! If you enjoy most things lavender then this is something worth checking out. Before I write on about this experience, it's not a fair where they have rides or a lavender climbing contest! Just drinks and food infused specialties plus a variety of other items you'll find enjoyable. I'm not going to run down everything because that would take a lot of space. But I can tell you that they have a wine and tapas bar, tea house and little shops where they sell little knick knacks. I would recommend coming real early to line up plus pace yourself because I made the mistake of trying to eat and drink within the hour! No!!! Plenty of shaded areas to eat and sit and a live band is in effect! Photo op spots are scattered throughout the space. If you don't want to pay for parking, again come early but you have to walk up a little fat to get there. But seriously, I recommend you checking it out for yourself or with a group. And that's my take on it, Peace...

I had so much with my cousin! We wanted to get there early to avoid the traffic and good thing we did since everyone decided to come early as well. Parking was easy and we parked right by the entrance since we bought the parking ticket. Keep in mind, it was summer and it was hot! We got a few pictures with the lavender field since barely anyone was around us. We got to explore the whole area, eat yummy food, tried the lavender lemonade and just vibed. Everyone was very friendly and lots of photo opportunities. For the tractor ride, you do have to pay separately. Also there's only one tractor so it can be a wait. I think we waited about 30 minutes to get on the ride. Don't forget to try their food and also visit the gift shop. I'd def come back to this place!

We had a good time at the Lavender Festival. I'd been wanting to go for years so I was glad to attend this year. It wasn't overcrowded and there was plenty to see and do. Lots of food to keep our bellies full, good live music, beautiful lavender fields and fairy lights throughout the property. The bathrooms were clean (and not porto-potties...yay). There were lots of vendors in the vendor area, a class on distillery and lavender products for sale. It lived up to the hype but I expected the lavender fields to be more fragrant. Also, it was extremely difficult finding the place to get my VIP pass. For a first timer I will say the hosts were not as accommodating as I expected. I expected everyone to be friendly. Not sure if they were tired from the heat or having an off day but I didn't get that friendly feeling from the staff. They were cordial but not friendly, if that makes sense. With the VIP pass we will return for other events throughout the year like the Lavender Nights and a few other events. Parking is included with my pass and it's cool to bring a guest, get a free dessert, and drink; and 10% off products in the store. Even though it was a bit different than I expected, I still recommend it to others. It was nice to be in nature and see other families and even couples. It's a great date location and engagement location!

We had so much fun here, the tractor ride is a must, also they have a lot of different shops to check out. Definitely recommend for a night out and fresh air

Love this little farm. First time at lavender nights and the lights and atmosphere with the live music was magical. There were quite a few people there but the grounds are open and airy so it didn't bother us too much. Went on a pretty hot day and most of the little shops have no ac. The ice cream shop was super hot I felt so bad for the girl Who worked inside. Almost unbearable. The outside temp was cooler than the shop (and it was like high 90's yesterday) All in all it's a def must see.

If you're looking for a fun activity to do with family or even a romantic date night, this is it! I went with my fiancé about 2 hours before they closed and it was absolutely beautiful at night. The whole place was illuminated with lights. Bring comfy shoes because you will be walking around a lot. Mostly in dirt fields too. There are various food/drink stands, shops, live music, and other places to explore. So many great photo ops! I would definitely recommend visiting at night.

Great place to bring the family and the mother in law to walk around an enchanting place. A hotel, a wine bar, Tea Rooms, Dinner, the atmosphere is a blend oeuphoric inebriations. If you get an opportunity to visit. Please do.

Ask the Community - Lavender Festival

When is lavender festival?

Lavender Festival is in the summer when the lavender is in bloom, usually June through July.

Can I buy parking tickets at the gate?

No. Online only.

Do they accept apple pay?

Yes

What time does the festival start and when is the best time to go during that time period?

Weekends 5pm to 10pm

Do we need to purchase tickets in advance or can we purchase at entry?

Advance

When is the lavender season and best time to visit?

Mid May to August

Do I need to print the parking ticket and the admission tickets?

I would print admission tickets only if you don't want to show them on your phone or if you have bad cell phone reception in that area. I printed them because it's easier to hand them to the person checking.

Is everything cash or can we use card?

Credit cards accepted!

Since festival will be starting soon, does anyone know the "best" time to visit the field? Preferably, when the field is in full bloom.

We went today and it was not in full bloom. I think mid June is a better time

Are there other food/lunch options at the festival if you don't do the buffet?

Yes they have food trucks, and booths with ice cream, sandwiches, and pizzas etc

How much time should I expect to spend here?

Can I just show the tickets on my phone or do I have to print them out?

I showed them my email receipt via phone and they accepted it.

Are strollers ok to bring?

Only if they are heavy duty with hard wheels. Folding type strollers won't make it through the day on the grounds. The paved path is limited . You will need someone to watch your stroller while doing any activities . You cannot bring a stroller on… Read more

Planning on going Sunday for photo shoot, are there any restrooms to change into?

The fields are not in bloom. There is one restroom in the property, in the hotel & porta potties in various areas. I'd advise checking with the farm prior for permission to use their venue for a photo shoot as inevitably there will be strangers in… Read more

Is it worth it to take the wagon drawn carriage tour?

yes, if you are interested in history of the farm. Book early, this sells out fast every day of the fest , I've taken it 3/4 times I've been here .

My fiancé and I have attended the lavender festival three times already, so we knew what to expect. We avoided the foods we didn't enjoy last time, and tried new items. We ordered their carne asada tacos, croissant beignets, their peach sangria, and more. If you're planning to come here, I'd suggest eating beforehand, because the food is not good. Their tacos are dry; the meat and the tortilla feel like separate entities. Their croissant beignets on the other hand were absolutely phenomenal. It's exactly what you'd expect and it was amazing! Their drinks are good here, too. I had their lavender margarita which was absolutely perfect. Their peach sangria can be better. They sold bunches of lavender in their gift stores and you had opportunities to take photos with their lavender in the fields. It was a unique experience overall away from your usual city life. I don't think I'll come back again. I've been three times enough, and it's generally the same. I'd recommend trying it once to see what it's like, and that's all.

I was able to purchase their Fig jam, the newest product they were offering. There weren't any food trucks this time around however, the food selections were on par. Definitely take advantage of building your own charcuterie board with their selections of cheeses, meats, and olives. Great wine selections. Because this Festival was markedly smaller, the venue also included a Pumpkin Patch for children with an array of activities and goodies. I brought my niece and nephew and they had fun. They got dressed for the occasion. We took advantage of the chicken egg harvest which included a tour, chicken interaction, and a chicken egg to bring home. Tickets were $7 this year. There were awesome choices of homemade sausages such as bratwurst, chorizo and lamb sausages. European choices of sausages included Italian sausages, spicy Hungarian sausages, frankfurter, and Nürnberger bratwurst. We decided to order the Schiewnshaxe which was a baked pork shank served with a delicious sauerkraut. I don't like sauerkraut, but their sauerkraut was really tasty and slightly sweetened. The Schiewnshaxe was juicy, tender and full of flavor. We liked it so much we ordered it again for $13 a piece. You can also do a ride-a-long on a tractor that takes you around the farm. We stopped at the upper lot to pick apples & pears first, and had some BBQ inside the packing shed. We had the chicken cowboy plate ($27) as well as the tri-tip cowboy plate, with 3 sides each. We ended up getting ranch beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and corn bread. Everything was quite tasty, and the apple BBQ sauce was great. The cornbread was also great with butter and honey.
