I'm glad I didn't have to wait in a super long line at the time I went because I was in immense physical pain. I had requested my meds to be sent to this pharmacy, but they sent it to the wrong CVS store (the CVS inside Target also on Brookhurst), but the person helping me out at CVS was able to let me know she can go ahead and have the meds transferred to this CVS instead and to just give her a moment to prepare my meds for me. She did it very quickly and called me back after a very short wait. I'm thankful for her because I really needed my medication because I was very sick. I then went home to sleep. I'll definitely have this place saved as my pharmacy going forward.

The pharmacy technician apparently left without getting a backup for the poor pharmacist. He was swamped with work and had dozens of patients from the same urgent care I came from waiting for scripts. The problem was that nothing was processed in the orders received and people waiting had others who came after had their scripts filled straightaway and leaving. I sat there like an idiot with other very sick patients well into 1am. And my insurance information wasn't taken in correctly so I paid full price. I was in no mood of waiting more so I can do an all nighter at this sketchy CVS. The outside of the store doesn't seem safe as many homeless people and other hoodlums were smoking and dealing god knows what. Certainly not a place young female should be going unaccompanied at night.

The pharmacy is also great! They are efficient, fast, friendly, with exceptional customer service! We have to understand there is a process to be done once we hand in a prescription. The pharmacy has to work with our doctors, and insurance companies to provide us our meds. If there is a delay, it's really not their fault. We can't purchase our drugs the same way we would a bag of chips people! Stop hogging the counter!! So if you're impatient or feaning for your controlled meds, go elsewhere. :)

Tip: when taking pics on a film camera, prioritize snaps outdoors. If you have to take indoors, highly recommended to use flash. If wanna capture legible text, make sure the font is large. . Note: Fujifilm develops your film, but you can't visit them directly (they don't have their own local retailers because the modern tech switch to digital media has obsoleted film photography), so you have to visit outsourcers like Walgreens. 12/24/25: Visited here to submit my disposable camera for film development. The envelope was all bent and wrinkled too so they clearly do not care. Look at the pics for reference. Also the pharmacy is lacking staff. They only have one pharmacist and one tech. So long waits everytime.
