To start, I recognize that the entire industry is understaffed and is in impossible circumstances. That said, it is becoming ridiculous to get services. Example, the pharmacy calls the doctor and says you aren't filling your prescriptions. Doctor checks in with you to see what's going on. You need to order them, but THEY WON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. Not in the morning, not in the afternoon, not in the evening. Can't get through. And if you have a disability, or can't drive, or some other reason you can't get in there easily for in person (to stand in a ridiculously long line), then it's even worse. So, you start having most of your regular meds go through one of the mail order pharmacies, and only use Walgreens for emergency meds, like antibiotics, etc. And interestingly, they advertise constantly, come in, get your shots from us, use our services.... how? you don't have anyone there with time to provide the service. Honestly, I wish they would stop the advertisements. they are just disingenuous. read more

One of the worst pharmacies I have ever used. Customer service is lacking. If you have a new prescription called it, expect it to be a full day or more before they even start processing it. If you call to check on the status, be prepared to wait on hold for hours. I was waiting long enough that even after an hour on hold, I drove to the store, still on hold, to finally find out that they haven't started processing it and it would be 4-5 hours before the would be able to process my prescription. read more

Horrible service in the pharmacy. They should be ashamed of their score. They've been getting bad reviews for years but nothing seems to have changed. This happened twice before where I received a notice on the app that my prescription could not be processed and I needed to call the pharmacy. They DON'T answer...EVER. I've stayed on hold for up to 35 minutes before just hanging up, I've been hung up on, and I've always had to go down to the store to get the answer just to be told that they will fill it later (even though I went all the way there just to answer a question). First thing: The staff here are very hard-working and courteous. *THEY* get 5 stars. The management of the store gets one. Worst pharmacy I have encountered, ever. Prescriptions take FOREVER to get filled. Phone calls are disconnected mysteriously. They are seriously short staffed and i put that on WALGREENS corporation and the regional management. The pharmacy at this Walgreens and the employees are the worst to deal with. When you call you cannot get through. The phone rings and rings eventually it's picked up but then you are put right back on hold. The only way I can get ahold of someone in the pharmacy by phone is by calling another department in the store and having them walk over to the pharmacy to get the pharmacist to pick up the phone. The pharmacist and the pharmacy techs are rude and not wanting to help. They seem very bothered by having to answer the phone. When I was able to get through I quickly asked my question, I did get an answer but then was abruptly hung up on even though I needed more information. When going to store you either have to stand there and wait for them to help you or you have to get their attention and again they are very visibly bothered by you being there. Walgreens in general is the worst pharmacy but if they were to give out an award for the worst pharmacy in the white center West Seattle area this Walgreens would win. read more

Pharmacy is not managed well at all. Always takes at least a hour just to pick up a prescription. Drive thru is a joke..I have sat there for a 1/2 hour before anyone even came to the window. Not sure if staff is trained good enough. I pick up medicine for my aunt. Last time I was in they told me she had no credit card on file. Her card has been on file for years. I have never had any problems with your other locations just this one. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

The employees are rude they hang up on you including the store manager and the pharmacist when there computer system has been messing up for at least 6 months you'll sit on hold for 1 to 2 hours to get through the pharmacy and you can drive there while being on hold for 1 hour and there is not a single person in line inside or the drive thru I would rather die then continue to use Walgreens again read more

Avoid for influenza vaccination! I was turned away at another Walgreens and told to "make an appointment." Well, I did make an appointment at this Walgreens who did not honor my appointment and told me "they used the last two shots this morning and the computer doesn't tell you." This review is for the pharmacy. They went above-and-beyond for me today. I needed an urgent prescription, and not only did they call to other Walgreens to find medicine that they couldn't fulfill in-store, they called the hospital to clarify issues as well. The level of care was very real and personal, I cannot recommend highly enough. read more

This store used to be wonderful. Now I can't get anyone at the pharmacy to answer my calls or take their own jobs seriously. The last time I was there there was a line. A gentleman in a wheelchair was before me. The staff in the back was too busy chatting to even acknowledge this man for over 10 minutes while we waited. I had to sit in a 20 minute phone queue just now. No one is in front of me, they just kept cycling my call thru their system. Hung up, called the manager line, got someone immediately who claimed they weren't a manager. I asked for a prescription to be canceled.no idea if it was actually done and will be calling my insurance company about this issue.I was always an extremely kind customer and it's sad to see this pharmacy drop so low, and to be treated so poorly when trying to arrange medications for my health. Wow, Frank needed a new passport photo and Walgreens delivers the goods. I had to renew my passport but needed a photo. I jump on YELP and they said WALGREEN'S and damn Yelp was correct. In & out in 15 minutes with photo and smile. Highly recommended using there service. read more

Con: Not blatant that store price is double price looked up online. Right next to $9.49 it should say, "Online price only." Small print below the "Find at a store" button does say, "Online and store prices may vary." But who reads everything? Store manager wouldn't honor price posted online. Target honors online prices ins stores. Pro: Great online price for an OTC med. $9.49 online, $18.99 in store. The manager was polite, but tempers flared between a young thug and 71-year-old me. For the pharmacy only: the people who work behind the counter are saints. The pharmacists are helpful and patient. If you are waiting in line for a while, it's because the pharmacy employee is giving the time and care to a customer, the same they will give to you. There have been so many times they have helped me when I found myself in pickle with insurance, doctors and prescription verbiage. I've observed them being kind and respectful even to people who are not giving the same grace. read more

The employees in this store were abusive (and later unapologetic) to an autistic child who asked for help finding an item. They called her "crazy" and asked her to leave the store. Bartells and Rite Aide are super close, take your business elsewhere. read more

What? Really? This Walgreens is so not scary. One blustery, snowy day I tried to hit up the Bartell's across the street, but they had closed and sent their employees home, apparently afraid that the 1 inch of snow on the ground was going to prohibit them from making it home safely later in the day. Walgreens was open. Another time, I tried to go to Bartell's to use their nifty photo machine. It was broken indefinitely. I went to Walgreens. Walgreens is no longer the back up store, but the official go to place for my drugstore needs when going to the Rite-Aid by my place isn't convenient. What? Okay, fine, Walgreens is my version of a Baby's Mama. When my girlfriend isn't available, I'll always have her. read more

I like the pharmacy here, which is the only reason why I come back. It's a lot faster than Bartell's and the drive-thru option is great. I will also forever appreciate the fact that they expedited my prescription when I came in after having my wisdom teeth removed. I had gone to Bartell's first and was told it'd be one to two hours to get my pain meds. With the drugs wearing off, that wasn't going to cut it so I headed over to Walgreen's. They initially said 30 minutes, but once they saw that I was bleeding from the mouth, they gladly rushed everything and I got my prescription in 10 minutes. Thanks ladies, lol. HOWEVER, the rest of the store sucks. The cashiers are painfully slow and totally don't mind having a 10 minute long conversation with 8 other people waiting in line. A lot of random people also trickle in from the bus stops nearby and there's almost always someone lurking outside ready to hit you up for some spare change or a cigarette. I've also seen someone back into another car in the parking lot and then drive off. Every now and again they'll have a deal on some cosmetic products, but Target is almost always cheaper anyways. read more

Save time and money and don't go to Walgreens downtown for passport photos. I went there to get Canadian passport photos and everything seemed to go well, the girl used their machine to select the country for the specific rules, etc. I sent my application via fedex and it was denied because of the photos. The photos did not have a stamp on the back, had shadows on my face and were the wrong sizing. I should have checked all the details but if Walgreens has a fancy machine that tells the user how to do it I figured the user could do it correctly. I'm out the fedex courier charge. After all this I went to the post office and asked the passport photo lady about the Walgreens photos and she said he is constantly rejecting them for US passport photos because they are always of poor quality. read more

I really only go to this Walgreens to use the RedBox out front (because there are two of them!). Though what I typically use this Walgreens for is medical supplies and photos, I'm sure it good for other things as well. I will say that this Walgreens (I think because of the location) can have some sketchy people out front and in the parking lot; that part can make me a little nervous sometimes. read more

the neighbor hood is a lock your car neighbor hood. Just get in the store and don't dally in the parking lot. Put your bags in the passenger seat, if you have mace make sure you know where it is in your purse before going in. It's not SO bad that you put the mace in your pocket for easy access. There are a LOT of sales on non perishables like Soy Say bottled sauces and organic canned veggies so like everywhere else LIKE White Center the stuff i wanna buy is on sale because nobody else wants it. They are good people here. Sean, Kelly, Mario and Rosa are all very sweet and helpful. The real star here is Gabriel. He is amazing, sweet, compassionate and helpful. This is a rough store to work in b/c of the location here in White Center and you get a lot of people on drugs, drunk, or just really weird unsavory characters that hang around the area. Gabe does a good job of keeping the tone positive, but I get the feeling that he and the other hard workers here do not get enough credit for their work. I do not know who the Manager is, but he/she (whoever the Manager is) seems out of touch with everything here. The credit needs to go to these amazing employees. I always go here when I am having a bad day or in a bad mood, and they are super sweet always. THANKS GABRIEL AND EVERYONE for setting the tone for customer empathy, listening and compassion when people who are down and unemployed for a long time are depressed. And for taking the item back that was a defective phone charging cord without a receipt. Love to you all! read more
