So I go to Walgreens today and the lines are large and it's surprising because it's a Monday...where did all these people come from? Unemployed?? There is a buy one get one free sale with some Revlon make up...i'm checking things out and this lady says "how about you and I buy something and so we don't have to pay as much?" I'm thinking...whoa I don't think so and tell her just as much. Then I get my items and the lines are long so the cashier who probably gets paid nothing per hour is stressed out. I then stress him out further by using several coupons. Then I buy an item and I show him the ad because it wasn't ringing up correctly. He tells me "oh you will get a coupon for $3 off another item" and i'm kind of taken back by this because that's such a gimmick. I just shrug and let him continue until the end of the transaction. I go "where's my $3 off coupon you said I would get"? He goes "you used many coupons let me call a manager". So my using coupons has made him upset (this is a recession I want to use AS MANY coupons as I can and I only used 2). So I stand to the side and no one comes for a while. I'm blocking the other customers he's ringing up after me and i'm getting peeved. What gives? Why the gimmick and now having customers go "excuse me" to pass by me? So I tell him I want a refund, why trick a customer into buying something that is falsely advertised? He then tells me to go to cosmetics because regular employees are naturally thieves or don't know how to process refunds. So I get to the cosmetics area and get into another line though not as long. The nice guy in front me can sense the irritation i'm feeling. I want to get OUT of this walgreen. So he lets me go first. Thankfully the manager is already there and is flabergasted as to why the guy didn't scan the coupon that was in the paper (I showed him the paper too and said see that item? It's $3 off). I said "I know I showed the guy the coupon he told me I would get it at the end of the transaction" which kind of surprises her. She then proceeds to ask me if she could charge me the correct price for it. I go okay and she is extra nice to me because I am just so annoyed now. My day off and I get to stand in 2 lines and get criticized for using COUPONS!! Lame. read more

Yes,yes,yes! I finally found a drug store that has alcohol prep pads (for my insulin use). You see, I'd already been to five stores i.e. safeway,cvs,rite-aid,luckys, and finally @walgreens sucess! Aparently there was a recall on alcohol pads a while back. Hope this helps others looking for same. read more

Went here for the first time to pick up meds. There was a slightly longer wait than I am used to, which is even more difficult when you have a few kids with you, but the pharmacist was really nice. The most important thing is that they have 24 hour service. Didn't need it yesterday, but can imagine needing it in the future with fevers and things for the kids. read more

I love this walgreens so much that I wanted to be there all the time. They have the most friendly and helpful staff ive seen in awhile for a drug store. The pharmacists are just as wonderful, if you ever want a pleasant shopping experience go to this location. read more

I have been a customer here for ten years because the pharmacy is open 24 hours and I have children who sometimes need after hours prescriptions. I also have four monthly prescriptions that I fill at Walgreen's. I am writing this to vent my frustration about waiting in line for 15 to 45 minutes most of the time that I go in. The management obviously knows the hours that the pharmacy is most busy, so why not add some extrea staff? Now that my kids are older, I am going to take my business elsewhere. I see many bad reviews about the pharmacy in this Walgreens, most of which are the staff being rude and them taking forever to complete your prescriptions. Well, I know why it is like that, BECAUSE I WORK THERE. We would love to finish your prescriptions way before than the time given to you. First you come to drop off your prescriptions, but you probably don't have your insurance card, which means we have to call your insuarance(there is a good 5-10 mins gone just for insurance--you can thank yourself for that). Then there are some customers who want things their way, and I mean down the size of the vial, if it is 1 inch taller than the other vials they will reject it? Seriously what difference would it make?? Then after that comes the prescriptions with the worst handwriting in the world(you can thank you doctor for that). Some doctors just can't write even if it meant their life was on the line. Which means the pharmacy has to call your doctor(there goes about 30-45 mins getting in touch with doctor--you have to page them). You have to also remember that along with you there are other people who don't have their insurance card and their prescriptions are wrong(which adds more time to your wait). As for the prescription strengths, believe it or not I have seen countless prescriptions in which if the pharmacist hadn't called the doctor on the strength the patient would have been dead. People come in with prescriptions for #900 methadone pills and want all of the pills HANDCOUNTED TWICE(which sets your wait back even more). On top of it all the pharmacy is ALWAYS UNDERSTAFFED, so your not really helping us when you give us your list of demands. The lines are long because people don't want to pay their copay and they have us call their insurance, only to have their insurance tell them that they have to pay the copay. PHARMACY DOESN'T SET YOUR COPAYS FOR PRESCRIPTIONS, that is the most important thing you should remember. It saves you your time and the pharmacy staff their time to get things going faster. We(pharmacy staff) try to get your insurance to cover the prescriptions as much as possible which takes our time. It ISN'T our responsibility to have YOUR insurance information with us, we DON'T have a crystal ball where we can find your information. If you want to cut your wait time please educate yourself on the pharmacy mechanics, and how a pharmacy works. It is NOT a Burger King where you order something and it comes up at the last window in 5 minutes, there are procedures that we have to follow. If I have offended any of you shoppers, then I apologize, but please don't push the pharmacy staff around like they are people from Burger King or McDonalds, we have had to work hard for our licenses and certifications. This is the worst place to get your prescriptions, especially for being a 24 hour pharmacy. I came in about 3 hours after my doctor phoned in the prescription and my prescription still wasn't ready. It was about 11:00 pm and the store was pretty empty and quiet. I came to the pharmacy and the pharmacist said it would take another hour to fill my prescription. You got to be kidding! There was no one in the store!!! I will never come back to this place again. read more

This rating is with reference to the pharmacy. The first time the doctor faxed in the order, they claimed they didn't receive it. The second time when I called to confirm, they claimed they didn't receive it. Then, when I said "that was ridiculous", the clerk re-checked and lo and behold it had come in. Each time I've gone, the prescription's taken an hour longer than promised and the staff is minimally available and generally curt. It's the only 24 hour pharmacy nearby and I need this medicine for my daughter's infection asap this weekend. I only visit this pharmacy when it's my only option in these type of instances. read more

yowwwza. maybe i just caught this pharmacy on a good day but this place blows away long's (oh, i mean...CVS. i refuse to call it anything other than long's!). for some reason i didn't hold a high opinion of the walgreen's pharm, but despite being a new pharmacy customer here, i was in and out in about 10 minutes. the phamacist was especially nice. i'd definitely come back here for the 24 hour pharm! read more

I came in the day after Christmas to pick up a few items. Great location, I thought I'd be out in a few minutes. I found some blush (not a great selection) and some other non make-up items I needed. The make up counter had a line and I went to the front where there was no waiting. A clerk was finishing up with someone and the store manager was there ready for the next customer. I put my 3 items on the counter and he told me to go to the make up counter to pay. I told him there was a line and he actually yelled over to the make-up counter to ask if she had a line. She said she had one person, and he asked me to pay at the make-up counter. I asked, "Really?" He said they prefer make-up be purchased at the make-up counter. You'd think he'd say no problem after he heard my disappointment. Nope. I couldve been done paying for my items by then! I walked around the aisle to get back to the make-up counter and wonderful, the clerk still had the same person she was helping earlier and another person in line. The girl in make-up was nice, but this just didn't end up being a quick visit like it should've been because of the lazy ass manager that sent me to a slow line when he didn't have anyone in his line. How about smiling and being friendly, and just helping the next customer? That was my first and last visit to this Walgreens. The lazy manager definitely took the convenience out of my visit. The location in Tustin has never asked me to change lines when I was next in line and I can pay for make-up in any line at that store. read more

I send to print two canvases and I went to pick then up at the time requested. When I got there the manager did not know how to print the photos. They had me waiting for extra 20 mins, which was no big deal. After 28 mins I went back to the photo department and saw both employees playing around and not working. As I asked for my items they came out the wrong size. I am very disappointed. They told me they could reprint but it would take longer.. read more

Very PLEASED to have a 24 hr pharmacy in the neighborhood for emergencies and a PHARMACY That is OPEN 24 HOURS, Pure Joy, although the store is not extremely responsive to their customers needs, I believe they recently changed management and I'm looking forward to some customer service changes. They do have riff/raff on a regular basis, probably due to the location (next to some freeway X) and the store being open 24 hrs brings in some folks that are probably not who you'd find in a neighborhood Walgreens. read more

The good thing about this Wallgreens Pharmacy is that it is open 24 hours a day, so is super convenient for busy people. Bad new is that it is mobbed a lot of the time and badly under-staffed. So best for late night prescription pickups. read more
