I don't know what's going on here, but they are either completely understaffed or they have horrific management that just won't do their job. I've been waiting in the drive-through line for more than 30 minutes and they have managed to serve a grand total of one car. One car in 30 minutes. And this is typical for this location. If I could give zero stars I would because they don't deserve one read more

A 2 hr wait for the pharmacy. Hire more workers please. I refuse to go to Walgreens until this is resolved.

24 hours, means 24 hours. Change the hours of the store if it's not going to remain open all night or the store can not staff properly. The staff had the door locked and told me to go to Safeway. I want to make it known that I haven't used Yelp in probably 5 years. I specifically dug up my password just to write this review. read more

Waited 30 mins in the photo department to find out why they cancelled my order. The management never came. It was a Father's Day card I took time to create and they really dropped the ball I'm so disappointed. They should hire better management or more people. read more

Worst ever. Made having cancer WORSE. They cancel orders via app and tell you to call. But when you call they don't answer the phone. I loathe this place. Unresponsive, unreliable, incompetent. I hate going here so much I'd rather deal with express scripts -and that's saying something. read more

Customer service learn to take passport pictures . This is really the most useless place I could've gone to . I just got of jail I went to pictures and they discriminated me cause of my tattoos . Am calling the cops . read more

Super understaffed and under maintained Walgreens. Store is dirty, staff is not organized. I went here the first time to get a Covid booster and even though I was on time (early even), and I wasn't taken in until an hour after. I went in again to pick up a prescription, and another 30 minute wait, just to pick up prescription that was ready. I don't blame the staff because they're all over worked, but something has to be done to better the store. read more

First of all you should change your hours online at the very least! Closing at 1or 2 am doesn't mean 24hr!!! I've been in the parking lot and from the second they put that closed sign on the door I've seen 25 customers (yes, I counted) being turned away in a matter of 30 min. Walgreens must love loosing money! Change your online hours please! read more

Horrible service. I was on hold a total of 1 hr and 10 mins, called 4 times with no recourse. In my 4th rendition, I let the pharmacy technician know my concern (albeit I was upset-no cussing, my tone was not happy and I let them know I was upset). The pharmacy technician was very snarky back. She said she would transfer me to the pharmacy, but I explained to her that I was sent there several times just to get hung up on. Still snarky - and she proceeded to put me on hold for an additional 10 mins. I got fed up so I disconnected the call. Worse Walgreens pharmacy I've dealt with - I can't believe I had the patience to deal with it for 4 years. I only dealt with it because it was close. I am done with this place - I will be trying to transfer to another pharmacy. read more

This is absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever encountered in my life. For a week straight, this pharmacy has caused issues with my prescription, had my doctor send in a new prescription, when I had a refill already authorized and then for three days said my prescription would be ready, and everytime I go they say it's out of stock and give me three tablets. The guy at the drive thru window lied and said it would be ready and 30 minutes and then denied ever telling me that. This pharmacy is awful and I will never send another prescription here again. This place should be shut down. read more

Don't go to the pharmacy. Staff does not care. Lines are very long and it will take you several trips to catch a short line unless you want to wait an hour to get your medication. The drive through is a joke and be ready to wait a very long time. I switched my prescription to the Safeway pharmacy where they actually do respect the customer and are good at their job. read more

I have been frustrated beyond belief lately with the Pharmacy Department so much so that I am ready to pull my prescriptions and go elsewhere. I have been a loyal customer and I understand the system is not easy to deal with, but to cancel prescription orders because the "system" just does it and not tell the individual or call the individual is just wrong. Today, I am trying to get another life saving medication to prevent blood clots and they just cancel the order and when I call they tell me that the doctor cancelled the order which is complete bullshit. My online health record has the prescription and if it were cancelled it would be not be in there. Last month, they did the same thing with my diabetes medication. To add to this, they apparently have time to have a technician call me multiple times to get me to enroll in their "Save a trip" program which doesn't work! Why not focus this time on getting better at dealing with core issues and problems. I have cancer and I am sick of spending time figuring out how to get my medications from this place. I will be checking into other pharmacies where they maybe offer more customer service. read more

For years this pharmacy has not improved their customer service problems. Every time I call regarding a prescription, they do not answer the phone. The phone rings for 30 minutes and then someone picks it up and drops it right back down, hanging up. read more

This pharmacy is just as bad as the one on Foxworthy. I signed my fiancée up to get his Covid booster. He had the confirmation number and filled out everything online before hand. When he got to the pharmacy they didn't have his appointment and had him sit in a chair for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes they gave him paperwork to fill out. They're unorganized and inefficient. read more

I was here to pick up photos and (I think his name was) Eric took his time to work with me and help me figure out how to make the picture fit perfectly since I was doing it as a gift! We kept having issues with the format of the photo because of how it was taken, but he was able to make everything work out just perfect and he was such a friendly and nice guy which made the experience super super amazing! if you need photos or anything from the store, I would definitely recommend it since I had such an amazing experience at this location!! This was by far the best experience I've ever had at a store and a huge thank you for such a pleasant experience! read more

PHARMACY : If I could give them NO stars I would. They are the absolute worst pharmacy I've even been to. They made my sick adult daughter get out of the car because they couldn't verify her medical insurance. She gets down and waits inside after 10 mins she ask if there is an update and no one had even called yet. She waited another 15 mins and no one had still called. She then asked for her RX so she can take to another pharmacy and they told her no she has to pay cash. WTF. All in all after 1 hour of waiting they finally verified her medical insurance and she was able to get her medicine. DO NOT go here unless you have to. This is not the first time we have gone through this. Unfortunately they are the only 24hr open pharmacy. read more

Terrible manager . Pharmacy opens when they are done taking lunch , it doesn't open based on advertised times . Manager doesn't care either and is a smug . The manager and pharmacist both were extremely rude and unprofessional! The manager told me I wasn't making sense when I asked them they should make sure they are open on time and mocked me while rolling up her eyes. Pharmacist was the same and was super rude . As a revenge for telling her they should open on time she told me that my prescription should take one hour for pickup even though I was the second customer in line. Avoid this pharmacy read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. I'm a very patient person and understand sometimes there's delays but the guy working Friday 01/24 afternoon around 2pm small short mexican guy at the photos definitely needs a new job. He gave me attitude for coming into the store when my poster wasn't ready but I tried numerous times calling the store and nobody would answer. I wasted my time again going later that night when supposedly it was suppose to be ready and it wasn't. On top of it I wasted able to get it today Monday 11/27 but it's not even the poster paper I wanted. I paid for an adhesive poster and got a regular one. I will never go back, save yourself the trouble and don't come to this Walgreens. For ANYTHING ! From the looks of it nobody likes working here. read more

The one star is only because the wonderful clerk who went above and beyond to help me "locate" the missing pharmacy staff. She did not answer her door she did not answer her phone she did not answer drive-thru ... if I could give this store a zero, I would've already. Walgreens advertises same day pickup on eligible items in their photo department; however, they never follow through. I am done taking chances on having my prescription sent to this pharmacy. The drive-up window, late hours, and proximity to my house are useless when the staff and/or management are so abysmally ineffective. Yesterday was my first time trying this location in several years. The last time, they had filled only half of my daughter's antibiotic prescription because they didn't have enough for the whole thing. They told me to return a few days later for the rest of it at 2pm. That was when the first bottle would just be emptied. I showed up promptly at 2pm that day (interrupting work to get there), upon which they told me to come back the next day because they still didn't have it. Hello?? They of all people should know that you're not supposed to skip doses of an antibiotic!! I had to call corporate and wait on hold for close to an hour to talk to someone who finally lit a fire under their rear-ends and got the prescription filled before the next dose was more than a few hours late. They just don't give a flying f about people needing medication. They should have either asked me to use a different pharmacy for the prescription in the first place or ordered some from another Walgreens knowing there was an urgency and an obligation to deliver the rest of the prescription once they took responsibility for it by fulfilling half of it and making it impossible for me to take it to a different pharmacy. Now yesterday, I had an urgent need for medication before a medical procedure and my doctor told them this. They accepted the prescription but then said to me when I arrived that it would take 3 hours to fill it!! Which would be half an hour after my procedure was scheduled to start! I let the pharm asst know that I was supposed to take it in one hour from then, per the doctor. She said they could expedite and to come back in 15 minutes. I came back in 15 minutes and was just told that the pharmacist couldn't do it and wouldn't be ready for another 2.5 hours. That's an insane amount of time to fill a prescription. Every other place takes 10-15 minutes after you drop it off at the window or your doctor calls in. I ended up using an old, expired similar medication that I already had for a sedative so that I could endure the medical procedure on my eye. Luckily it worked well enough. This pharmacy is completely useless. The people who run it are both heartless and brainless. Do not bother with it. They will take years off of your life with needless stress. read more

Walgreens - Terrible service - Drugstores Near Me - San Jose, California

This pharmacy is absolutely dysfunctional. This specific location in particular. I've had great experiences with all the other locations throughout the Santa Clara Valley but this pharmacist and crew absolutely takes the cake! They just convinced me after 20 years of being a loyal customer to go across the street to CVS. Even Rite-Aid keeps their marbles straight. Not THIS Walgreens ESPECIALLY the night crew there! Do yourself a favor and leave them while you can. Don't waste 20 loyal years of HARD time like I did convincing yourself that they can do better. When the power went out from this last storm, IT JUST FIGURES THAT THEY WERE THE ONLY PHARMACY IN THE AREA TO SHUT DOWN FOR 4 DAYS! No back up generators guys?! LOL!!! It's like a circus there all the time !!I get a good laugh at least every visit ... read more

Inefficient service, always long lines, and the drive-thru is the worst, with an average wait time of one hour with or without que, Doctor's prescriptions are rarely ready unless you call several times for follow-ups and once connected staff ask you "we received the order but you want it your prescription filled? These are about Rx for my elderly parents. - just called and waited over 10 minutes to ask for the General Manager of the Store, who notified me that YES when a person waits on the phone over 60 minutes, the phone system automatically resets and HANGS UP ON YOU!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CALL THIS PHARMACY. You are wasting your time. And if you end up waiting over 60 minutes your call will be disconnected!!! Went here at 1am on Saturday to get some medicine . It was the only 24 hour drugstore near me. Was greeted by two ladies rudely telling me they're closed. Went back to my car called the Walgreens number and their automated system did confirm that they are 24 hours. I requested to talk to an associate and when I was patched through they said they are open again at 5am. It's not 24 hours store, I only came here because I thought they were open. My wife and I made appts. for 12:10 and 12:20 for shingles vaccine at this store. Arrive and were made aware that if any covid vaccinations walked in they would have priority. We agreed with this of course. Then she said we would both have to wait 30 minutes to and hour to log us in. We said we did all this online and it should say it would take this long. So we arrive at 12:10 and it takes an hour to log me in. Then my wife takes an hour. If they don't have two people logging us in, her 12:20 appt couldn't start till 1:10. Shingle appoints were every 10 minutes on the web site. 30 min to hour to log in why are they available every 10 minutes? Manager said that people arrive past 3 pm would take 2 hours to log in. . And they had covid vaccines scheduled at the same time as our vaccine. If you're making appointments why schedule two vaccines at the same time? read more

I stopped going to my local Walgreens years ago, but tried this store for my Covid booster + flu vaccine. Booked the appointment 3 weeks in advance. After a 15 min drive, found pharmacy in complete disarray -- only 2 frazzled staff members to handle phone, long line of prescription pickups and Minute Clinic patients. They turned me away from my vaccine appointment due to lack of staffing. It's clearly not the store(s)' fault, but a corporate decision to stop resourcing their stores years ago. read more

PHOTOS ONLY! For the last 10yrs, we have ordered our holiday photo cards thru this same location.
