Moved to Walgreens pharmacy from WM. My experience is more personal service at Walgreens and has a drive thru.

I called in a refill for a prescription on Tuesday. I was told it had to be ordered and would be ready on Thursday. It wasn't. Not ready on Friday. I go today and they still had to process the prescription so I waited a little bit. None of this bothered me till I went to pay. I use GoodRX for this prescription and have for several years. The prescription expired on Friday and I could not use the coupon. This cost $45 extra. I'm fortunate enough to afford the cost but so many are not. This was their mistake and they took no ownership or tried to help in any way. read more

As soon as I parked, I saw a line for the pharmacy wrapped around the building, which didn't matter since I get my prescriptions from CVS. I got out of my car, walked towards the entrance and watched a Walgreens employee smoking in the entryway, real classy... she saw me walking in so she stopped and walked back inside quickly. If your employees are going to smoke, tell them to do it in the back of your building, not in front of the main entrance. I walked in and noticed both restrooms were out of order, turned around and walked out. Watching employees smoke right in front of the entrance and not even having a public restroom open was enough to make me not want to come back. read more

The Worst of the worst. Took my prescription said it would be one hour. 3 hours later I'm on hold calling them, after being on hold for an hour they finally answered and said they don't even know when they will order it again. Lady store manager was rude and had 0 customer service . Go to cvs across the street.

I went to the store to return eye drops that were purchased 2 days ago. I had accidentally bought the wrong ones for an upcoming doctor's appointment.. I did not have my receipt but I had the card I used to buy the drops. The manager could not find my purchase at the register so I showed her my card purchases. She found it on the managers computer in the back but not on the register. This makes no sense at all and I forced to take store credit. I hate Walgreens anyway and I usually only shop there because of my prescriptions. From now on I will only go to that store for my prescriptions because of health insurance. They also have the worst pharmacy. I always have to contact my doctor to get a prescription refilled because they say that they cannot contact my doctor read more

I give it one star because you can't do minus one. Terrible customer service. I moved from Plano, have used their pharmacy services for almost 20 years and in this Rowlett location the pharmacy staff with the exception of Caroline, is rude, we have a problem every month with our refills it's just terrible. No one seems to care to train their staff. read more

Only one lane of drive thur for pharmacy is operating. One lane has cones blocking it off but it's been broken at least two days. This should be a priority to get fixed because most people utilizing the drive thur pharmacy are possibly injured or ill so that could be a reason not to go inside the store. read more

I spent a long time making a card, when the app failed, then made a second one, then got here two hours after I was meant to only to be told I had to remake the card again. I just spent an hour sitting waiting with no apologies trying to make another card and need to get home to my children and it still isn't right and they still want to charge me, this is insane. DO NOT ORDER ANY CARDS OR PHOTOS FROM THIS AWFUL PLACE! read more

I went to Walgreens to pick up prescriptions but before getting there my glasses broke around the frame. I don't have the receipt and I didn't use my rewards card so I had nothing to show. However, Walgreens saw my dilema and they agreed to replace them for me. I am beyond pleased and impressed with their level of service. Walked in to pick up some photos. One of the photo was came out really red, so I asked about it, and the female employee at the photo shop said it was because of the red hat in the picture. So I showed her the photo in my phone with no red color issue. She didn't have an answer after that. Anyway, she was unprofessional, rude, and unpleasant. Not coming back to this location. read more

Don't go here for the clinic! Went for a Tdap shot early on a Saturday morning and waited almost an hour and we were the ONLY customers there! When we asked if it is normally this long of a wait the pharmacist said "it's usually longer." Well that's rude. If they KNOW it's going to take THAT long at least give your customers a heads up! Not a fan of this Walgreens anymore, will take our business elsewhere. read more
