Great products, friendly staff, and the store is always clean and well stocked. This has become our go-to store because we enjoy the selection and the deals they offer. I've been here for over two hours waiting to fill a prescription, sick with Covid, probably infecting the dozen or so people waiting in line behind me. They have one guy working here filling the scripts, answering the phones, doing the drop off, pick up, drive through and consults on a Saturday night. It was only 8pm when I got here! WTF!! Wow, Rockwall Horizon CVS, just wow. Very disappointing to call for something as simple as a CVS to CVS transfer, wait on hold for 45 minutes, to finally give up due to lack of service. I called the one on Goliad and was able to get it done in less than a minute. What made it worse is that the Horizon store checked on me every 15 minutes to say "we'll get to you soon" but didn't stay on long enough to find out that all I had was a severely simple request. If this is typical service, I see why you only have 1.5 stars. I love CVS but will avoid this store going forward. I'd rather drive across town. read more

I was shopping at this CVS yesterday and I was using the self checkout. I needed help so I pressed the help button on the screen and I waited more than 10 mins for a worker to help me. I saw 2 workers at the time that I pressed the button and both of them were just staring at me doing nothing to help and didn't even come over to see what the problem was. It was only when a 3rd worker came over that is when I got help. The worker that helped me was very rude. read more

Received a call stating that my prescriptions were ready. Went in and waited in line for 35 minutes to have them say that it's not ready and won't be ready for another hour and to just get back in line. Last time they only put 5 of 6 vials in my bag and then said that "you must have lost it" After arguing and days of fighting they did a "recount" of their inventory they said that it was their fault and admitted that they shorted me. Bottom line is that they have bad customer service and never just own it. I am changing to a different pharmacy outside of CVS. read more

This pharmacy is the worst! The staff takes forever and is not even pleasant when you finally make it to the line in person. I called to ask about my medicine and they had me on hold for more than 30 minutes, no answer, had to hang up. I'm so frustrated with this pharmacy. I had to talk to the automated system which got my prescriptions all mixed up and it seems they don't even have the medicine in stock because I had to called another pharmacy and that's what they ended up telling me after responding in less than 10 minutes. read more

Went to this 24 HOUR pharmacy around midnight Saturday to fill my daughters prescription from the ER we just left. I walk in and there is 1 person working. He is scanning stuff and after I wait several minutes he finally says "No drop offs I have to finish this scanning. It will take a while" I asked how long. He said over an hour, but he didn't know for sure. I said, so I can't drop off this prescription? He got irritated with me and took it from my hand, sat it on the counter and turned around to start scanning again. I walked off for a second, then came back and told him to give it back to me. I was not going to use this pharmacy. This is a 24 hour pharmacy for a reason! If I am coming there after midnight, it's an emergency. Not something that can wait over an hour for you to maybe put it in the system then. My 8 year old child has to suffer because you cannot stop scanning stuff long enough to fill her prescription. This is one of the few that are open 24hrs. I showed up at this one on accident and they transferred my prescription and was out the door in less than 15 mins which is amazing compared to 30-60 mins at the others, so this will be my new favorite pharmacy. I hope it stays this way! read more

I was very sad that Rockwall Superdrug is now only filling compound prescriptions. I called CVS yesterday and was told I would receive a call back after they located my rx. No call back. Called again today. Was placed on hold for almost 10 minutes and then told tgey cannot locate my prescription. I am moving my business as soon as I get this last rx filled. I absolutely think CVS Ridge Road has the worst pharmacy customer service I have ever seen. They need more pharmacy techs and need to follow through on what they tell customers. Big ugh!!! read more

We are new to Rockwall and this was the worst pharmacy I have ever visited! I waited forever for my flu shot, then the pharm. tech proceeded to administer the shots to 3 customers. The syringes and gloves were in three FILTHY plastic baskets. He did NOT change his gloves for each patient receiving injections. This was totally unacceptable. Someone from headquarters needs to do an anonymous visit to this pharmacy to request a flu shot! read more

I must admit I prefer CVS over Walgreens. I don't particularly know why. But as it is, I frequent this location among many others. This location has a nice staff. They generally say hello when you walk in about 80% of the time. I also like their manager, or so I think she is. She may be fairly new, I don't remember seeing her as much as I have lately. She is always so helpful and patient with my questions and will do all she can to help. The pharmacy is what one would expect from a pharmacy. They sway back and forth over the line of above average generally hovering over decent. It can be crowded during peak sick seasons but I like their phone system where they text you when it's ready and of course you can refill by phone. I also enjoy their rewards system. I love getting my $5 in rewards buck every go-round. The prices are obviously not better than a Walmart but with sales, coupons and /or Rewards bucks it can be a comparable buy. I don't do my major shopping here but I like to go in for a few items at a time, something we are out of (toilet paper) or beauty items when I don;t feel like walking the aisles of a bigger, full grocer. read more

I am not one to quickly write a negative review, but if I could leave zero stars, I would. I can not speak for the other attendants, but each interaction I had with the male pharmacist attendant was sarcastic, rude and had no willingness to help/ do his job. The first time, I drove up to pick up my script, he asked for my insurance card. I handed it to him and he said he couldn't accept it because it was a "medical card." On the back is the number for prescriptions. He would not call. I then asked for him to transfer it to Walgreens, since they have my insurance card (SAME CARD) on file and they don't mind calling. That never happened. Three days go by and I get another text from CVS saying my script is ready- it was still at CVS. I then called my insurance myself and asked what else I could provide to CVS so that my script could be filled. My insurance representative called herself and spoke to the same man. He claimed to have never said what he said to me, said he was the only male attendant there, etc. So my insurance representative told him the prescription number to call is clearly on the back of my medical card. His reply to my representative was "He did not have time for that." My insurance representative herself said that was the rudest encounter she had ever had with a pharmacist attendant. I know CVS will not miss my few prescriptions I get filled there, but I certainly will not miss this attendant. Hopefully I can save others from similar interactions with this place by writing this review. read more

Don't know where to start. Order my meds thru my Texas Health portal. Nothing happens. No email, no phone call that their may be an issue. Try to call CVS, on hold for 15 minutes. Switching pharmacies as of today. Customer service is terrible. read more

What a nightmare! For the second time in as many months, I have had to wait more than 20 minutes just to pick up a prescription. Now this doesn't mean submit it and wait. This means after being told my prescription was ready to be picked up. Tonight I waited over an hour; forty-five minutes of that hour waiting in the drive through window. Finally, I went in and the manager checked me out. Then I was overcharged more than $100 because my insurance wasn't charged properly. They couldn't correct it because the pharmacist was too busy to talk to me! Come back tomorrow was the advice I was given. read more

I'm having a bit of a problem I ordered to have my medicine refilled I got couldnotpick it up they put it back on the Shelf but yet charge the insurance evidently because now the insurance won't allow it to be refilled because it's too early I have called and called and called I have been left on hold for times of 59 minutes to an hour no return call I sent emails nothing I need my medicine so if that's what they're doing to me over one prescription I wonder what it happens to other people might need to check your practices because these are inevitably a delay in treatment and fraudulent billing when you build an insurance company the patient does not receive the medicine nor can receive the medicine until the prescription is due to be refilled again I was told that this problem would be resolved and yet to hear anything and still no medicine read more

Why is it that this particular CVS can never get anything right? As a patient, I dread getting any prescriptions filled there. I encourage all of my family members to go elsewhere whenever possible. As a provider, it is always patients choice on where to go, but I'll never recommend this place. The lead pharmacist is lazy and rude. Staff is lazy and just doesn't seem to give a crap. Cashier ANGELA: At the end of my shopping with this specific store, I encountered a very rude employee. During checkout, I gave her my phone number which is linked to other family members extra care card also. She did not let me finish saying what my name was or which person to chose. She chose my family member other than I, and then rudely said I could not use my extra bucks on my purchase. I nicely told her that that was my own coupon and she probably chose the wrong care card. She did not want to void the 5 items and change the name to use and proceeded to dramatically slam the voided receipt and coupon on the counter, to go back and use the correct card. Prior to my checkout I did see that she was nicer to the Anglo-American customers, giving me the idea that she was being racist to I. I have never had this kind of customer service at ANY store whatsoever and this is not the only site to hear about my complaint. Unprofessional and without name tag, as well. great bunch of people. the regular clerks are friendly as possible in such a busy scenario. The longest I have waited has been 15 minutes during the peak time of day and about 5 of us were served within that time. That of course would vary depending on the number of employees on hand. Maria, Therese, Rene, Karina and Auggie are very nice fols. Therese recognizes me on the phone and when I giver her my nickname she knows my legal name and can answer my inquiries about scripts that are ready as soon as I get the request out of my mouth. Auggie is a bit shy at first but has turned into one of my favorite clerks with which to work. One time I had an accident that looked like Ali had pummeled me for 15 rounds and i went to get some meds filled. Auggie showed the great amount of sympathy / empathy in his eyes for my injuries. he was very helpful. As the healing progressed he was always there to make me feel better, to say how good it is to see me and so on. The guy deserves a raise. Clean. polite. All the good representation a store should covet. The Heath store is one that I frequent as well. Jerry is awesome and Adam is a great person. Both are very knowledgeable and quick to help. I have worked with Jerry over the years and when we are setting up to get a flu shot he has the paperwork ready as much as he is able before we show up. You need a more regular pharmacist at Horizon. Seems like it is always someone different in a rotation type of schedule which does not allow a relationship to grow between customer and pharmacist. Thanks goodness you have a regular crew of clerks for the most part. Again, a great bunch of people making some of the less desirable situations in life more bearable. read more

I went through the drive thru pharmacy today and was "helped" by Katie. I had called in my prescription and then when I went through she had an attitude about using my supplemental insurance, she didn't let me finish my sentence before dropping the phone and walking away..... When she came back she told me my total and I handed her my debit card (which is bright red, so it's pretty hard to miss when handing it back) she didn't hand me my card back before my husband pulled away. I walked into the pharmacy and said excuse me and she ignored me then I said excuse me again and informed her she forgot to hand back my card... She blankly looked around and acted like she couldn't see it. I let her know it was in front of the keyboard to her right I don't understand why she didn't give it back when she handed me my prescription or why it took her so long to see the red card in front of her face.
