I love my neighborhood Walgreens , so grateful to have everything I need at my fingertips !

We have received atrocious service at this location ongoing the last 5 days from a place that we have been customers at for years. I hope someone with management takes this post seriously as we intend to alert health and regulatory authorities if needed. First the medication was not in stock. ..Then it was in stock, but then insurance would not pay for it (supposedly) ...Then was told to get a new prescription for the generic from the doctor .... Then was told the generic was out of stock .....THEN was told the original medication WILL be covered w/ insurance. It will be ready Monday for pickup. .......THEN go to pick up and it is EXPIRED. Surely, distributing customers expired medication is not part of the Walgreens customer satisfaction criteria. We are appalled at the lack of customer prioritization, care, and safety with this location. read more

Manager refused to print off receipt from a transaction from a rewards account to process a return an item had to call corporate and then process the return, wasted an incredible amount of time for an easy fix. read more

I had antibiotics and abd med rx called in there , went to pick up they filled the antibiotics but not the other stated it was coming from corporate office , I am like your kidding me, was very upset ,plus I am sick , she stated I could get it Monday, I was not nice about it and she states well we have it here pull around and we will fill it , NO MAM , NOW it's the principle of it . IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FILLED TO BEGIN WITH . I will try my best to never darken your doorway again. read more

Not a bad location, with decent parking and so so access as it's on a busy corner. They could use more employees though, and their Halloween candy aisle is woefully understocked. They are usually prepared for my treat giving needs by now, so what gives? read more

I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. we were in the middle of receiving my wife's prescription when the worker shut the window on us and said "we are going on lunch break. Come back in 30 minutes." this is not the first negative interaction I have had with these people. it is clear they lack professionalism and common sense. if you don't want to be treated poorly then I recommend going to another location. read more

I love being able to come here for quick buys. Small pkg of pampers are on sale at times and makeup as well as other stuff. If you don't see the sales of course by advertisements you may just be lucky upon a visit. Convenient locations and fast purchases w/minimal crowds. The only thing I've noticed within the past year is the reward point system doesn't update with each purchase like it use to. I was told I could call about it. You won't receive discounts after points accumulate. I go here often so that's a downer. read more

This place refuses the booster shot to people who need it. My father in law needs it. He was refused.

This store is a fedx drop location if you are unable to sign for your package at home, after waiting two days for my rather expensive package to arrive at store so my Wife could pick it up after she got off work, (I was out of State working) the Manager Juan told her he could not release package to her even though she had proper ID, he walked off, I ask my wife to tell him I wanted to speak to him , he rudely declined and walked off again. I called the store and spoke with him about the situation, he put me on hold and let another employee answer and I was given back to him and informed him I was not going to play anymore games, my wife was given the package after a 15 minute battle, I will never go in this store again, I have lived in Rowlett for 47 years, Thanks for the lousy service Juan! The only reason it got two stars is because I did get my package. read more

I've never been to this Walgreen's location but they "rock" in my book! After a very unpleasant experience at the Super Walmart pharmacy off of I-30 in Rockwall, I stopped here to get my perscription filled for my little doggie and (unlike Walmart that refused to fill my perscription), the only question they asked when I dropped it off was "What time do you want to pick it up?" I may have had to pay a little more but getting treated with dignity and respect is worth paying a little more in my book. (I will be posting an update to my unfavorable Walmart pharmacy experience. The store portion is usually pretty good about having a clean place and being stocked. They are over priced on almost everything but it works in a pinch if you need something. I usually stop by when I pick up my medicine at the pharmacy. I usually get in or pull up to the window, tell them my name DOB etc. pay then leave. Today though, there was a very rude lady working! She cut me off when I spoke and when I pulled to the second window to wait for assistance she asked if she could help me and I told her I was there for pick up. She said " you have to hold on cuz I'm with someone else." .... a simple I will be with you In a moment would have been fine. The attitude wasn't warranted. read more

Pharmacy is the worst. They dispense the wrong medication and will not give a refund!!!

Best Walgreens store around... Actually best pharmacy around. I've been using them for years and had some hick ups at first with one particular person in the pharmacy but she has worked it out. The manager here is awesome, he listens and acts you if you have a concern, question or recommendation. The staff is always nice, and store well-stocked. The photo unit does a wonderful job and performs with photographers eye instead of just printing blindly. If I try hard... I still can't find anything to give constructive criticism on. read more

Sad sad place to shop. Asked for an item, it was put in my bag, I didn't realize it, it was the wrong item. I came back after realizing it. They would not return it. Christ (the manager) wouldn't let me exchanged for the fault they made. Will never be bag, check your stuff before you leave the store. read more
