Drive thru is a joke. Worst experience ever. Over 20 minute wait time, and I'm the second car in line.. Shop elsewhere.

Very poor service. Unfriendly and attentive staff. Poorly managed. ObviouslyNo one from store management down cares about customer service.

In all the years I've worked in the medical profession, the pharmacist I dealt at Walgreens overstepped. He made an error on the prescription provided by my physician. He did not apply a refill to my record and then stated that HE would "decide or another pharmacist would decide whether they thought my medical issue still existed for that refill of antibiotic". I mentioned to him that a Pharmacist cannot diagnose. He then rebutted by stating that "they can call the physician then to see if he wanted it filled". Huh? Well.. here's a clue.. the physician wrote it for a refill purposefully, with intent. I think this pharmacist was attempting to distract from the error he made on my prescription. I then called his manager who was also a pharmacist. I asked her how she felt about the pharmacist she was managing telling me "he would decide if I still needed the refill of antibiotic". She, stated that a pharmacist can decide if they feel comfortable refilling a prescription. Hmmm .. it's antibiotic lol. Anyhow, I will be reporting this to the California State Board of Pharmacy. Pharmacists cannot diagnose and that is exactly what he stated he was going to do in order to provide a refill for antibiotic. It appears Walgreens pharmacists are a way too entitled by trying to diagnose and play phisician. Generally if a pharmacist works at Walgreens they are new to the field or can't get a job elsewhere. It appears this is the case.

I ended up in Urgent Care across the parking lot while on a vacation and needed antibiotics. This…read moreUC suggested another Walgreens because this place was notoriously slow. I don't know the area, so it was easier to just let them fill this super quick 14 pill prescription. I showed up about 20 minutes after my appt - hoping my script was in the system and I wanted to give my pharmacy card info. Phil at the reception/intake is a TOOL. The guy finger pokes the computer (been there since '21 so he should be able to type), he has no sense of urgency, and is lazy - straight up lazy. He finally found my prescription at 4:45pm-ish after telling me they don't have it - which I knew they did. He tells me they have to type it in, since it was sent over electronically. I understand....I know how this works. I left there concerned, but didn't have many options. I finally got a text saying they received a prescription for me - AT 6:17PM!!!!! An hour and a half later.... FRUSTRATING to say the least. Angry because I was in pain and needed those antibiotics to start working STAT but I was also understanding that we must be getting close to getting it filled by then since it was finally added into the system. My fault for having false hope for competency. ANYWAY, I never heard back from them, so I called them back and waited on hold for almost 17 minutes....at 7:45pm. And when the pharmacist answered the phone, she said "oh! You can come right down. It'll be ready!" I needed those antibiotics FAST and then all of the sudden they're ready when I call!? But I got no notification - UNTIL I CALLED. I was so angry. I was even on their text notifications....so they just weren't doing their jobs there. This was a 3 hour wait that Phil told me would be about an hour...that I never got notification for. Just an all around HORRIBLE and INCOMPETENT experience with this Walgreens. I know there are other people there, but clearly I'm not an anomaly here. Corporate needs to take a long hard look at this place and how it's run. This is terrible.

On hold for 1hr just to get hung up by the pharmacy. Call back hold again then hang up. They suck!read more

The pharmacy called me to tell me I could no longer use my copay card for one of my prescriptions…read more Okay fine but the pharmacy staff that called was so incredibly rude and condescending it was unnecessary. They have allowed me to use my copay card for YEARS, so if this is there mistake fine, whatever but speaking to me as if I'm the one scamming them is unacceptable. If their employees were overriding this coupon incorrectly that is THEIR problem, not mine. This is one of the worse customer service experiences I've had from an already bad store. The place is abysmal and their pharmacy manager is the most vile person we've ever dealt with. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere, so guess they don't have to worry about getting any of my pharmacy or other business going forward. Completely ridiculous and unnecessary. It's clear this person and most of the employees could care less about customer service and experience and I'm sure nothing will come of this because we we're basically called liars and thieves when is reality it's THEIR own poor management that led to this oversight! Their employee literally put in the coupon card for me last month and now I'm the scammer?! Great job losing an entire family of customers.
