Let me start off by saying that I don't write reviews for gas stations unless it was the absolute worst experience of my life or I thought it was amazing. Luckily, my experience here was amazing and it all goes towards the employees here. This is the main gas station that my co-workers and I will always stop by to grab drinks and food. This is a chevron and a power market combined into one. The market has food consisting of chicken tenders, fried chicken, mini wings, mini corn dogs and a bunch of sandwiches on the side fridge. It's by the pounds and pretty cheap: I always get the tenders and you can ask for bbq sauce and ranch on the side, free or charge. Back to drinks now, my co-worker always gets two bangs (energy drink) since it's a 2 for $4 deal. Usual price is $3 per I believe. One time we wanted to try out a flavor that he saw online and when he decided to go find it, he had no luck at all. He grabbed his two usual bangs (piñata colada and rainbow) then we went to the register. We told the cashier that we wish he had this special coffee flavor we saw online and the employee immediately went to the back of his store and got it for us. I was surprise and happy at the same time. Going the long way for us made a great impression. Every time I'm here with my co-worker, we're always greeted with respect. P.S. I sometimes get gas here but I come here for the food and drinks if anything. Thank you again Chevron for going above and beyond!

Here is proof that money came out of my account. Time stamped for 4:02 PM today

Four stars because, yes, I'm a fan. I don't recall actually going into the mini-mart but imagine…read moreit's like any other mini-mart, anywhere. Their are plenty of gas station pumps and their prices are good. (I have a general rule against using places that tack on an additional fee for services and believe that this Arco, like others, charges 35-cents in addition to their fuel cost.) Just charge a price like anyone else; it's just a way to lower the fee by a few cents to get people 'in the door,' so to speak. That aside (and since I get my fuel elsewhere), I've frequented their car washes a few times. The right one has brushes and the left is brushless, so pick your poison. My go-to is the right, which does a good job of cleaning off all the California off my car. You're not getting a professional detail job but at $6, you're not paying for one. The prices, I believe, are $6 $8 and $9, and offer increasing levels of cleaning. I know I'll be back and maybe next time I'll stop inside! Thanks.

I was hoping to go through the touchless side, however it was closed so I went through the touch side. In the middle of the wash I heard a super loud banging sound (like a hammer being hit) all along the side of my brand new car and now have $4000 worth of damage to my car. Upon exiting, another vehicle went through with the exact same problem. I immediately went in to the employee working at the front desk who shooed me away and told me to come back during a weekday when management was available. Of course I returned on Monday and the employee took pictures of the damage and sent it to his manager. We were told to get a quote and bring in the quote to the store. When we brought in the $4000 quote to them, we were told it "might take a while to hear from insurance". It is now the middle of March and I haven't heard a peep. I've been brushed off. It's obvious that they are hoping the situation would be forgotten. I am so disappointed in this company and the customer service.

Special thank you to Cashier Michelle!…read more Long-winded story ahead... It's been a few years since this gas station opened up in our neighborhood. We haven't stopped by as much due to having an electric vehicle as our main driver and using the Chevron app (with discounts on gas) for our other car. On the evening of Sept 30, I had an unusual dilemma. A couple years ago, someone had gifted me a Visa gift card. I had used it here and there but then last month discovered that it would soon be expiring on 9/2026. Told myself to make sure I spent the balance before the last day of September, but you know how those Visa gift cards are---sometimes if you try to spend more than the balance, it just rejects the entire purchase (instead of giving you an option to pay for the remainder in another form). So on Sept 30, I was trying to spend the remaining $15 at home--ordering something from Amazon, Starbucks, etc but when it came to putting in the expiration date of 9/2026, all the platforms I tried alerted me to put in a valid expiration date (since in some parts of the US, it was already Oct 1). It was getting late, around 9pm, and I decided I'd have to try to spend the balance at a local store in person, instead of online. The closest business that was still open was Chevron, so I decided to head there. As I was driving there, I noticed Maverik across the street and thought about going there. But since I was already in the left turn lane, I continued to Chevron. Spent quite a bit of time wandering the aisles, trying to figure out what to spend the $15 on. Didn't really NEED anything... So finally I decided on some bottles of Jarrito's and Frappuccinos. The cashier rang me up and I put in the gift card. It said "Declined." *sigh* I wasn't sure if it was the expiration date that was the issue or the total price being too close to the balance amount, so I suggested to the cashier that I ring up one item at a time with the gift card. However, a line started to form at that time, so I decided to wait till the cashier rang up all the customers before trying. Long story short, it got declined again. *deep sigh* I asked the clerk if there were other buttons to press, like a credit button, versus debit or gift card, but she said there was only one option for "CARD." Dejected, I put everything back on the shelves and told the clerk I would try Maverik. I was unsure if the issue was with the expiration date or a lower balance stopping the transaction or something else. Got to Maverik and was greeted by Michelle. The establishment was brightly light, seemed inviting and very clean. I explained my dilemma with the gift card and decided I'd just try with a pack of Mentos first. Despite the card saying "debit," Michelle said to make sure I clicked on "credit." A few seconds later, it was approved. I looked at Michelle in shock, surprised at how easy it was, since it had taken so long at Chevron. Grabbed a few Frappuccinos and smoothies and then went back to Michelle, hoping for the best but expecting the worse. Once again, Michelle was able to process the transaction effortlessly. Not sure if it's a difference in Maverik vs Chevron's payment platform or just lack of cashier experience at Chevron, but Michelle at Maverik was able to process my transaction efficiently and easily. I was pretty amazed. Had I not had the difficult experience at Chevron, I might not have appreciated Maverik as much. Went home super happy that my gift card was now at a $0 balance. And now we have a fridge full of yummy drinks. :P Maverik & Michelle FTW!

I got to admit I love how wide the gas station lanes are outside-this is the kind of gas station I want to frequent always. Walking inside I was really taken aback by the sheer size of the place..I guess I should've figured it out by just looking at the size of the building but yeah I was still surprised. Inside they have so much ready-to-eat food available-so much grab-and-go options but the thing that looked the most intriguing was the brisket wraps-next time I'm there,I will for sure be trying those brisket wraps. They have a pretty killer beer selection as well located in their stand-alone beer locker that keeps the beer ice cold. I can't quite put my finger on it but I just really liked the vibe in that gas station-the employees seemed happy and friendly and everything was super organized and clean. It's one of those rare gas stations where you don't feel like you're just stopping for gas--you actually want to go inside and look around. I can say with some certainty that this is my gas station of choice in the Rocklin area. It's a good one......Now to check out Buc-ee's.

I recently went in to purchase (wing and a prayer) lottery tickets like I occasionally do. Since they are a Placer County business and it is my regular place, I always go there so that when I win (someday) the business will benefit as well! It had been a long week and a long work day and I was not paying my usual, careful, OCD self attention. I purchased, left money and walked out. I was in my car getting ready to leave when the manager, Charity, came out and approached me. Jacob (who was very nice) was assisting me inside and Charity had come over to assist him. When I left I walked out without change (a decent amount). Together Charity (along with Jacob) ensured I got that sorted before I left. I want to commend both Charity & Jacob who are already friendly, polite and helpful. They are also, clearly, honest as the day is long. This was one of those moments in life which helped reinforce the goodness of people. President Ronald Reagan said, "I know in my heart that man is good, and that what is right will always eventually triumph, and there is purpose and worth to each and every life." Thank you, Charity & Jacob for the embodiment of this quote. Be blessed!
