Kind of an average 3-star Walgreens. The only thing I would notice that it's pretty large. Plus the front door doesn't face the parking lot. As you're facing, the building is just kind of off to the left., Which is fine if you're approaching from that side of the strip mall. But I thought maybe I was on the backside or something. LOL Of course, they have all the usual Walgreens options. I was there grabbing a Covid test since my wife wasn't feeling well. I was able to pick up a few other things because of the incredible variety. There was no line whatsoever. All in all a good experience. read more

What would improve this pharmacy would be firing Nora. She is by far the least friendly person that works in there. She is not personable and doesn't care about the person picking up medication. She speaks to you like you are dumb. Clearly I've called the insurance and called the dr. She is so rude. This is not the first review I've made for this Walgreens. If I could give ZERO stars, I would!!!! Literally everything about their photo department is DOG ASS. I placed an order for same day pickup back in 2019 and my experience was AMAZING! Fast forward to THIS YEAR, I did the same process on 12/22 for a Christmas gift. Received a call that evening saying my order was going to be canceled for a stock issue, but they could keep my order in until they get the correct stock item. I decided to keep my order in, and just ship it out when it was ready to be picked up. Then 12/23, I get a confirmation text saying my order was ready for pickup. Strange.... But alright. I left town to surprise my mom early for Christmas, and didn't think anything of the photo item when I left as I was told it would be put on hold/cancelled due to stock.... Great. I get back in town on Monday, 12/29 , and go to the photo department 12/30. They have no idea what I'm talking about, cannot find my order, and even goes as far to tell me they "do not sell that item, I believe" and when I pull the item off of THEIR photo display in store, the worker is speechless. I told the gentleman I'd just reorder and/or call tomorrow to figure out what's going on. Today, 12/31, I placed an order for a different item altogether. Figured maybe that will avoid the stock issue. Order is in. Ready for pickup after 12:55. I get a call at 1:45 from this dogshit photo department telling me they do not have this item in stock, either. I flashed on this idiot and told her to cancel my order and I will never do my business here again. Lazy fucking assholes!!!! Nobody wants to do their damned jobs. I was very excited to give this as a gift, and you incompetent fucks ruined Christmas. read more

This pharmacy is the best one in town. I used to go to rite aid then Safeway, both sucked. Anytime I had an issue at Safeway they act like there's nothing they can do. I transferred a hard to get drug to Walgreens, it was denied and then within 10 minutes of the pharmacist working on it she got it approved and now I get to have my migraine medicine. Bless this woman. She only deserves good things in life read more

Buyer Beware: I purchased a $50 Home Depot gift card for a friend's birthday and when he went to use it, there was zero balance on the card. He showed the gift receipt to the salesclerk who stated this was a counterfeit card and that Walgreens is responsible for reimbursing the customer. I went to Walgreens with the gift card recipient, showed them gift card and related receipts, it fell on deaf ears and no help was given, and told me to go back to Home Depot, that it was HD's responsibility. Come on Walgreens, if you won't hire people to man the drive through remove it and let people know it's no longer available. This review is for the drive thru COVID testing. Arrived at 2:55 and drove around due to some questionable signage. The booth is where you want to be at even if it looks closed. Hit the call button at 3:00. They asked for me to wait. Finally someone opened the blinds at 3:12 and told me my paperwork was printing. 3:21, got some instructions and that the test was still being setup. 3:23 got swab, finished and submitted. Additional bonus is there is a ton of stuff flying around (dandelion?). Advice - turn off your car if you come here, because you will be idling for quite a long time. Also, despite the sign asking about needing ID, insurance, and confirmation number, I didn't need any of that - just time of appointment and name. If I don't update this review, assume that I actually got a test result from this ordeal. read more

Contrary to the other negative post here, I had a great experience with the new clerk from Rite Aid. She was very friendly and efficient. I had forgotten my insurance card, and she went out of her way to help me find the information. She also remembered that I was waiting and let the pharmacist know right away. read more

Wow, on the phone for 54 minutes before they picked up and said hold. Then nothing for another 10 minutes. I guess when one of the grocery stores eliminated their pharmacy all the customers were sent here. Don't bother, find another pharmacy. The staff has no knowledge and can't answer simple questions. They are slow and are poor at communicating wait times, if they even have the drug-many times they don't and you won't know until you call wait for an hour for them to say "sorry no we don't have that". I had a good experience 2-3 weeks ago. A cashier helped me get a 50% discount on my purchase. Then I had my cat vet send them a prescription. They were supposed to confirm to me when it was ready for Will Call. No call so I phoned. I was on hold for 1.25 hours & they didn't answer. My wife went there while I on endless hold. Mind you the store is fine my complaint is with the pharmacy. Absolutely the worst customer service and they never pick up phone like ever. They would never have medicine ready even when the doctor sends in the information to be filled immediately even though it takes them over a week to refill. Most of them know pick up is ever month and has been for the last 10+ years. They never tell the truth when medicine will be ready even when you get a call saying it is sometimes it is not. And some of the staff are extremely rude. I found out recently that there are less people answering the phone. The last straw with my boyfriend using this pharmacy was them losing my boyfriend's information paperwork and then making it absolutely impossible for him to reschedule a new appointment to get his booster Covid vaccine and because of that he contracted Covid over the holidays. Please think twice before coming here. If you want to go to a good Walgreens and don't mind a drive, go to the one in El Sobronte they are better and more informed. read more

Inefficiency leads to long line of customers clustered around the corner of the store....the 3 windows are staffed by a single clerk who serves both prescription drop off and pick up and vaccine check in. There were 3 additional people in the pharmacy, one manning the drive through, a pharmacist working on the prescription and another clerk stocking the bins. My vaccine appointment was at noon and I filled out the necessary paperwork online at the Walgreens website. At 12:15, I was told to fill out the same form twice, once for each vaccine. I was told at 12:30 they cannot give me my Covid booster because their vaccine has expired. When I asked my appointment to be transferred, they told me they would get the vaccine. When I told them I can come back later in the afternoon or on my off day next week, they promised me a call when they get the vaccine. About 1 hr. after I was told to come back, I received my shots, after standing in line to check in again and waiting for a pharmacist to administer the vaccine. There are 3 more people waiting, presumably waiting for vaccines or for prescription pick up. Seems like CVS, Walgreens and Rite-Aid have their unique inefficiencies and drawbacks. read more

I scheduled a COVID test for this location. Waited in an extremely long line. Then noticed that the gate was down on the pharmacy window. By the time it opened I had been in line for about twenty minutes. I called the pharmacy to see what was taking so long and was told everyone was in line for a COVID test and that they would get to me when they could. That it takes awhile to process the paperwork. I think Walgreens should stick to dispensing medication, due to their inefficiency in doing COVID tests. You have cars of people who don't feel well waiting for over an hour to take a one minute COVID test. What is the point in filling out the questionnaire online ahead of the visit???? What is the point in scheduling a visit?? Or why even schedule an appointment . This is a terrible patient experience and I will never come back here again. read more

Pharmacy is now closed on the weekends, and only open from 9-5 on the weekdays. How is anyone with normal working hours supposed to get their important medications? Stood in the drive thru line for 45 minutes, and at some point they just covered the window and told us all they were closed. I personally called over and was on hold/transfer for over 20min. I told my pharmacist, forget it - I'll just drive over there since it's only the next city over. When I got here, NO ONE was in line - the store was completely EMPTY - yet I still need to wait another so called 10 minutes for my perception to be filled. REALLY It was called in over an hour ago. I like Walgreens, I have shopped there for many years. But when I watch their commercials about Wellness and then shop there and stand in line and look at a whole wall of cigarettes! It's NOT just this Walgreens but ALL of them, they sell mass amounts of cigarettes at their # 1 cash register. This to me is sending mixed messages. CVS quit selling cigarettes due to their health issues and how that goes against CVS' health values. Yes there is big money in cigarettes but also chronic respiratory illness, heart disease and even death. I look at this as a little hypocritical on Walgreens part, and I think for them to live up to their Brand 'Wellness' shouldn't they let people get their cigarettes elsewhere? I know I would feel a lot better shopping there. This is the only reason I gave 2 stars. The people have always been courteous and helpful to me in every store. read more

I have to come here monthly to pick up prescriptions and the pharmacy is always understaffed (and this was true before Covid). It takes at least 30 mins of waiting in line to pick up a prescription. It's not unusual to see one person taking care of both drive up and inside customers. I absolutely cannot stand coming here and have to practically rearrange my schedule to pick up a script. On top of that, when my dr office calls a prescription in, they are often left on hold for 30 mins or more. Not a lot of options in Pinole otherwise I would go elsewhere. read more
