Chevron: 5.09/5.39/5.57 diesel: 5.19 Arco: 4.75/ 4.95/ 5.15 and no diesel that I could find... This is nearby the highschool that Greenday went to - so that is a point of interest for music fans. The gas station was clean and bright and overall I think was fine - I do think its a better idea to pay .34/gallon for Chevron - especially if its a car your going to keep for a while. read more

Not the case, water still all over the vehicle, didn't even use the air compressor to blow things out as it just sat there. Windows actually looked worse, the interior was just a quick wipe. Never again - my car smells like weed because they totally out someone else mat in my Fing Honda CRV I genuinely don't even know where to start. I get my car detailed monthly, so it's always clean and smells great--this time? The experience was a total fail from start to finish. I went this Saturday, First off, they were out of wax and have stopped offering certain services (RIP to the quality since the cutie left, honestly). After a one-hour wait, I finally got my car back and had to remind them to spray the good-smelling stuff. They did--barely. Then the real nightmare started... The next day, my car smelled HORRIBLE. Like skunk meets spoiled milk. Absolutely disgusting. And no, there's no food in my car, and my kids weren't even in it for days. So this stench? Not me. I have a strong suspicion it's the mats--maybe they're using filthy water or dirty rags, and the smell just rubbed in. Welp, I'm done here. Never mind this is the most expensive Arco in the Bay Area - just a few cents cheaper than the Chevron a block over (Chevron being far and away the most expensive gas). I went to get air today and paid the 2.50. The machine would not work. I had the lady come out and watch as it would not put air in my tires. The machine makes a noise like it's working but it's not spitting out actual air. She watched for a bit, saw no air was coming out. When I asked for my money back she walked back inside and said with her back to me "come back next week." And that was that. It's only 2.50 but I refuse to give 2.50 to a scummy company for nothing. I will dispute the charge. I will make sure they do not get my 2.50 and make sure people understand what a rip off this place is. Now I know the air thing is not owned by Arco, but she could give me my 2.50 back and get her 2.50 from the company (and the rest of the money the other people who get ripped off her are going to ask for). The only keypads that are clean are the ones that I clean before using. Talked with the smoking attendant, got attitude and lied to. This review is for the Car Wash service. I'm sad to say this will be the last time I will be bringing my cars to this place. I noticed a fairly large scratch on a custom wrap that wasn't there prior to the car wash. The scratch looks like it was from heavy scrubbing, possibly leftover particles from the microfiber cloth that's been recycled many times. I politely asked the guy who rinses the cars if the scratch was there earlier. He quickly claimed that's it an old scratch because it's dark -- I was speechless, so I walked away; they clearly were not going to admit to producing the scratch, so there was no point in arguing on a beautiful Friday. Attached is a photo taken right after the previous wash from 2 weeks ago with no visible scratch. The car is fully ceramic coated, so dirt does not stick too hard on the surface. The area of the scratch also shows no impact against another object, so there is no reason for a scratch to exist in that area. I've taken my cars here for more than a dozen washes, and never thought they'd treat a repeat customer with zero empathy. Be very wary when coming to this place for a car wash. Take a video of your car all the way around as a way to document the car's condition prior to them touching it. read more

I like the car wash here, I can't really complain for the price. I am however more amuse at the system that they all have. Yes, I agree the downfall is they do use BRUSHES to scrub your car, so these brushes doesn't differ from those in the regular pull in car wash. You do get the RISK of having your car scratched because of debris or the bristles that the brushes have. But like I said, I can't complain because I know what I'm getting into. Aside from that, whenever I do go, I help them out by having the car completely empty. I already had planned out to go over there, so I empty out my car.. which gives me the time to finally sort out junk, then they get to vacuuming from top to bottom. They vacuum and air spray debris from crevices of the cars inside, and if the dirt is just stuck, then you can't blame them for having the dirt sit there for awhile. But they do their best to get it clean spotless. So they worked on the inside, then the guys drives it to get the exterior wash. Once that is done, it gets driven back to the original place for the towel dry. I'm just satisfied how everything is, like I said I get what I paid for. If you expect a top detailing then this might not be a place to go, this is for the good wash and clean the inside if you don't have the time or equipments on hand. I would still continue coming back, with my vehicles, and recommend it too. You just need to know the risk, (so don't bring in a fancy car...), and be patient with them. Because you do see them all moving around. It's a system that you just have to take time and be amaze in how they work. read more

Found my new favorite car wash spot that takes much less time than Mr. Bubbles by Safeway! I dropped off my car and walked to Peets until it was ready. You have options of what you want to get, but I ended up getting Gold for $25.99 since I had an SUV. They did an exceptional job with cleaning the interior. I like the fact they hand wash the car instead of a machine. Although hand washing is more detailed, they still didn't get the hard pieces of bird doodoo off some of my windows. Not a big deal, but that would've been nice. I came on a Saturday morning at 8:30ish and left by 9:30ish. I was satisfied with the end result! Thanks Arco! read more

Came back from a long drive to and from Portland and the car was a mess, so I took it here for a wash instead of doing it myself. They did a great job. I got the "gold" package. The inside of my car hasn't looked this good since I bought it! The outside looked real nice except they missed some tree sap that had stuck on, unfortunate, but understandable. They got all the dead bugs off much much faster than I would have though. Whole cleaning probably took 15 minutes. When you show up they give you a slip that you take inside and pay, and then there's a few chair to wait outside. Their shade over the waiting area is unfortunately shredded, so bring a hat and sunscreen. read more

Waited an hour and a half before my car was done with only 5 other cars before me when I arrived. Exterior was okay but several areas completely missed (near the wheel wells and front bumper). What's worse, I saw them re-use thin and stained (or worse, dirty) drying towels over multiple vehicles. Inside, the windshield was hazy all over, requiring me to clean it myself when I got home. For the past 4 years I've brought my cars here, but today will be the last time. The quality of work has gone down drastically. I had finger prints, visible dust and dirt. For the price of $22.99 they can at least grab a towel and wipe down the infotainment area and the inside of the doors. For the price you pay based on the services received, this is such a value for your buck spot. I drove up and parked my car. I handed the fob to a staff member after telling her what type of service I desired. Once I received the service receipt, I took it to the ARCO counter and paid. Outside there is not much seating and zero protection from the sun, especially if you decide to go on an unusual hot day in Pinole. The wait was not long, there is an ample amount of staff to assist with various cars during different stages of service. Attention was given to my car because I did not notice spots on my windshield, side mirrors...as I have at other places. My interior was clean, leathered protected with the appearance of a black sheen and an air effect that wasn't necessary but included. I will definitely return for my next cleaning. read more

My car hasn't been washed all year.. I've driven down to LA and back to the Bay 6 times. I have 2 dogs; one of which is a Siberian husky where I take them out several times a week. Let me just say, my car needed some serious detailed TLC. Although I'm sure the team was a bit annoyed getting all that dog fur out, they did a spectacular job. There were only a few hairs woven into the trunk (where I usually keep my husky on adventure rides), but it was overall spotless! They were even able to remove all the old dried bug goop from HWY 5. I use to support this car wash heavily, until one day I noticed horizontal scratches on my brand new car immediately after the wash. Since then, I started requesting that my vehicle be fully hand washed, rather than scrubbing it with the brush. Initially, it wasn't a problem, but I guess the owner got tired of fulfilling my request and got nasty/rude when I asked him not to use the brush on my car. It seems that an actual hand wash might be too much of a task and they'd rather not put in the effort, even when customers are paying for the service. Not to mention, the prices have increased significantly. It's one thing to refuse the request of a customer; however a nasty attitude is one thing that will surely turn people away. The quality of work is decent - certainly not the best, but not the worst either. It's definitely convenient for folks who reside in the area, but they could improve in many areas - customer service being the top issue. I would not recommend this car wash whatsoever. read more

I am reluctant to write this review because more of you will go here, but it's worth it. Hidden behind the Arco station is a small but high quality car wash operation. They did an awesome job on the used car we just acquired which had not been cleaned in years. It looks brand new. Paid $19 plus tip ($25 total) for the Bronze option, and our car was attacked by 3 people with a vacuum and rags. Then driven a few feet to the wash station for a good scrub, and then back out again to be dried. Note: they used an air compressor to get out those damn bits of water you only find out about when you get back on the freeway. Nice touch. If the forecast calls for dry weather, treat your car to a bath by this high performing team. read more
