It takes far longer than a normal pump--plus, you get to watch those idiotic commercials on the TV pump while you are pumping the gas. However, I did not cooperate. Instead of watching those dumb commercials, I sat in my car with the windows rolled up so I could not hear them. This made me feel like I was getting the better end of the deal. Do you think they deliberately slow down the pumps if they think you're not watching their TV commercials? Next time, I will pay attention to the advertisements, and see if it makes the pumps pump faster. I saved about $5, so overall a pretty good visit. This place can really be a madhouse, so be patient when looking for a spot in line. As I was waiting, a few customers seemed upset that they had to wait. I reminded them they would save about $5 and they instantly cheered up. However, I do not think they were astute enough to avoid those TV commercials. When you go to get back on the highway, it's a little annoying that there is no right turn on red at the main Boulevard. I was a little upset but kept on reminding myself I saved $5. That made me feel better. When I saw the police car a minute later, I also felt good that I had not turned right on red.

Background: I've been going to this gas station for the last 8 years, and have spent thousands of dollars using their touchless car wash, with plenty of receipts to show. Issue: Their touchless car wash usually work majority of the time, but anyone reading this, most likely know that their car wash machine will exhibit a malfunction every now and then. The issues often vary like, low water pressure, no soap, no air dryer, no pressure wash at entry. As most folks know, malfunctions are normal with any automated machinery, and that's okay -- it's not the end of the world. The employees here understand that the car wash will break from normal operation, and they do their very best to try to fix things. I appreciate that they actually take the time to observe and troubleshoot. Given that they recognize me as a regular patron, they understand that something is wrong when I raise any issues to them. Kudos to the staff for having the common sense of understanding technology and machinery. The issue I have is mainly with the owner of the business. He seems to be the type of person who's never been wrong in his life, and his natural instinct is to have a condescending defensive reaction. For the 2nd time in the last 2 months, I've been told to go somewhere else instead of acknowledging that the car wash machine isn't perfect. His main resolution is to offer a refund rather than rectify. An offer for a refund is certainly not a bad thing, but also not the best way to handle the situation. The price increase didn't stop me from continuing to support this local business. Yet, the owner has the audacity to claim he loses money every time I report a car wash malfunction. Naturally, I came by and filled up the tank! Such a bargain compared to the big names not so far from here (you know... Shell, Safeway, etc...) So, yeah. In the midst of fuel prices shooting up and up and up, if you find yourself within a 2 to 5 mile radius, this is the place to gas up! However, ever since the "Earnify" app was introduced, we have already encountered a few disrespectful cashiers and staff here. There were a few instances where we showed our barcode on the app (to scan for points), the cashier said it was too late since he had already printed out the receipt. We literally had the phone in hand and ready to scan/told them we had a barcode for the app. He later cancelled the transaction and redid it after we reasoned with him that we've had no trouble using the app countless times. The most recent incident from a few days ago didnt sit well with us. Like usual, we went in to pay and scan the app. We had redeemed an 800 point reward for this tank of gas and paid $100- not only did we not get to use it, we didnt even earn points for this transaction! Went back in to confront him, but he was rude and disrespectful. Shame on you.
