I was in a bit of a jam today. I had a prescription ready to pick up in NYC but ended up in Monticello and needed to get it filled in a Walgreens up here. After a few attempts, including a third visit to the store. I almost gave up but a nice young man named "Ryan" stepped up to the plate and resolved the problem and I walked out with my much needed script. So , if you are this store and see a gentleman with a name tag " Ryan" , trust me, he's a problem solver. Not taking away from the other pharmacy help there but he had a determined look in his eyes and was just clutch and pleasant also. (Most of the trouble was that my pharmacy's phone in the city wasn't responding) Ryan, figured out a way around that. Thanks, and I thank the others for honest efforts. read more

i ordered curbside pickup from both the pharmacy and front of house, received confirmation of payment from both. Sent my friend to pick it up because I'm in quarantine with 3 kids under 5. When my friend got there despite having both confirmation numbers she was yelled at by a woman named Jennifer Gonzales who apparently is the manager (!!) and said that payment hadn't been received. I have literally spent 2+ hours on the phone with these people today making sure everything was ready for a smooth pickup snd then they try to scam for extra money After telling my friend thé card is on file? Easily the most unprofessional experience I have had with anyone at any pharmacy in my life. And I was raised in over 4 countries. This store desperately needs a new manager. read more

Pharmacist told me my prescription would be ready in half hour. An hour later, I'm still waiting. But the people here are kind and there's a well stacked magazine rack to make the wait go by quicker. Tried to use them to get the Shingrix vaccine, but they were out. Pharmacist promised to call when the got more in, but didn't. When we heard from a friend who walked in and got the shot, we called to find out if they had any other doses available. First 5 times we called, no one answered and went back to 1st voicemail menu. Last call, we were put on hold for 30 minutes. When someone picked up, they said we had to speak with the pharmacy. We told them about the phone problem, and demanded that we speak with the store manager. We were then placed on hold again for another 6 minutes. My wife called Walmart instead and spoke to a responsive person right away who scheduled her for the shot. Needless to say, we won't be using Rite Aid for anything anymore. read more

worst pharmacy ever. i needed a prescription for my daughter and she needed to take it at a certain time. we got there at 1:28 and i waited on line for a few minutes. as soon as it was my turn, the woman pulled down the gate in my face and said it's their lunch break. i tried explaining to her that we are leaving the state and she needed to take the medicine and it can't be called to another pharmacy, but she was so rude and shut the gate in my face. what pharmacy takes an hour lunch break? it would have taken 1 minute to hand me her prescription and pay. all of the other people in line were so aggravated and annoyed. the woman could have been nicer and not had an attitude. WORST pharmacy ever and they couldn't have been ruder. walgreens should train their employees to be understanding, and not close the gate right on the dot when people need medicine. they could have let the 2 other people get their medicine and then closed. god forbid they don't get their mcdonald's lunch on time. very disappointed and angry, will not be returning. read more
