I was interested in buying a vitamin…read moreproduct that I had been researching for a while but it wasn't readily available in any of my local businesses. I went online and found The Compounder's website where they offered the product I wanted along with more information on its use. I contacted them via email and not only did they respond very quickly but they provided me with different volume price options (which were excellent because I wanted to buy multiple units). The issue with the product I ordered was that it needed to be refrigerated and since we're in the mid-end of August it definitely needed special overnight shipping. When I called to officially place my order (paid by phone), they quickly recognized me from my emails, pulled up my information, answered my product questions, and had already gotten multiple shipping quote-options for me to choose from. The shipping was expensive, which I had expected, but I ended up going with a quote for $29 next-day delivery. At that time they did tell me that the quoted price might change. When I received the package I was surprised with how well packaged it was; I must admit I was very worried that the shipping process might spoil the product. However, the product was incredibly well packaged with multiple ice packs in a thick foam inner box to conceal from the heat. The shipping ended up being $55 instead of the $29 but they were nice enough not to charge me the price difference this first time. I'm happy with the product and the personal service of The Compounder. I liked the fact that they added multiple sheets of information on the product I purchased along with my order invoice, and a note stating the shipping price difference for future reference. You get that mom/pops community type feel with this place and I for one am a fan for places like this.

I recently visited Costco on 59 to activate my new membership. The older gentleman who helped me…read morewas very thorough in explaining the membership benefits and took the time to answer all of my questions. The process went smoothly, and I appreciated the excellent customer service during the membership setup. At the time, Costco was running a promotion where opening auto-renewal would qualify me for a $50 Shop Card. I received the card by email about a week later and decided to use it during my first grocery purchase. Unfortunately, my checkout experience was disappointing. I wasn't aware that the Shop Card needed to be scanned before applying it to the transaction. When I tried to use it, the cashier seemed frustrated and commented that he would need to void the transaction and wait for a manager. Another associate grabbed my cart and started putting items onto the conveyor belt quickly, and I wasn't sure which items I should leave in the cart. While I had a great experience setting up my membership, my first grocery shopping experience at Costco was not what I expected. I hope the checkout process can be handled with more patience and better communication, especially for new members who may not be familiar with how everything works.

Due to a lot of organizational problems at my doctor's office, this was pretty tricky but Pure Compounding managed to make this happen and I was able to pick up my prescription on a Saturday. Granted, I've only had 1 transaction so far with them, but I would give them 6 stars out of 5 at the moment if it were possible. The same medication that they're able to fill in usually under an hour takes Martin Avenue 72 hours! If you're familiar with Wellness Health, Park Compounding or Hopewell Pharmacy, these guys are on par if not better than them for specialized methylcobalamin treatment. They do regular potency checks on their methylcobalamin and provided me with a copy of this documentation upon request. They are also are able to ship out of state. The only strange thing is that they weren't able to get proper reimbursement from my insurance when Park Compounding Pharmacy was able to. However, I'm able to claim this on my own with my insurance and it saves me $25-$30/month on shipping when I'm in Illinois!

I love any Bath & Body Works that is not located in a congested shopping mall or strip…read more Additionally, I've been in here a handful of times, during holiday craziness as well as dead periods, and it's always pleasant. The ladies won't hustle and hound you to buy more or ask lots of unnecessary questions. I'm just here to smell the candles, okay? The most insane time I was here was during the once-a-year candle sale. The 3-wick White Barn candles were something like $8 each (they're normally $20), so of course fans of this product went totally apeshit. This shopping strip is generally pretty relaxed; you won't get backed up waiting for the light to change or worry about something hitting you in the parking lot. Most of the time, the stores are pretty dead. Oh no. With this sale, you would think that they were giving away Porsches and a night with Jon Hamm. I walked in and immediately the line was to the door. But the employees kept it moving smoothly, even when one lady dropped a candle and sent glass flying everywhere. The employees were equally patient with a woman who was buying no less than 12 candles and was obsessively looking for another in Southern Mocha Pie in the Woods or some such bullshit. I came for my Mahogany Balsam, Champagne Toast, and Iced Vanilla Woods (all real names). I got my 3 candles and got the hell out of there. I don't care much for the body products. They smell great but the body wash is drying, and the lotion isn't very hydrating. The candles though are amazing. They make great gifts, and if the recipient hates it, B&BW will do an even exchange no questions asked. In case you haven't already guessed, the scents often have convoluted names, disappear after one season, and are re-named something else the next season. It's annoying. Last year, "Iced Vanilla Woods" was called "Peace." I was not at PEACE when I couldn't find this scent for awhile. But I'm still going to go back and buy more candles.

He had already tried that and it was worse than our couch recliner. She suggested that renting a powerlift chair might be helpful. It was on the pricier side, but the only other idea she had. Well, we thought about over lunch and just decided to just purchase a chair. Terri showed us the options and let us just try out the chairs on our own time. We never felt rushed. It was obviously more than we originally thought of doing, but we are sure we won't regret it in the future. The only thing that didn't make us happy, and why this isn't four stars, was the price tag. We picked the chair we liked best & thought the price was what was on the tag. There were options below the big price, like heat & massage, which were things that could be added to the base. Oh, but the material that the chair used was on that list (which we didn't realize because it was not a common name). It was not in the large number on the price tag and added $900 to the price. We didn't know this until we were checking out. We do not blame Terri for this, but the company that thought this was a good idea. The tag should have had the final price, before taxes & delivery not the base price if you could buy it off of the floor like we did.
