I'm really shocked as to how many bad reviews this particular Walgreens received. The store is very organized, they have a decent selection of products to choose from and staff are helpful too. I think customers also don't understand how much goes into filling a prescription or completing your vaccinations. I just worked a shift as a floater pharmacist here and it was fairly busy for a Sunday, but nothing chaotic. In 7.5 hours I had made about 40 phone calls, completed 3 vaccinations and filled at least 100 prescriptions alone (meaning without any tech help). Other walgreen stores are busier, more disorganized and barely even have time to answer the phone. I gave it a 3-star rating solely because the break room appears a bit dirty and because I had to out of stock quite a few medications today. Pharmacy Inventory may be challenging at this store. Otherwise I would happily come back. read more

They don't answer the phone. They don't get the prescriptions or insurance correct. They say they don't have the prescription and the doctor's office says they absolutely called it in. You go back again ask them to look again and then they miraculously find it. It's a mess there. read more

Came in just now for some items. Cashier was having a blast with coworker gossiping at check out which I don't mind but when it was my turn for check out the worker glared while checking me out. I told him to have a nice day but he didn't say one word during the entire time despite talking extensively with a coworker previously. I would've thought he was mute based off our interaction. Honestly one of the worst Walgreens experiences I had and even debated calling the store to talk to a manager about his behavior and attitude problem. So disappointing. read more

Terrible service. They do not care about their customers at all. Don't bother to make an appointment, they will allow walk in's to go before you. They'll let you stand in line for 20 min without acknowledging you. They'll also then "run out of" vaccines, because they let walk ins have them first. I assume they have to know how to count at a pharmacy. Seems like an important skill to have when filling medication prescriptions....counting. If you have 2 appointments and two vaccines.....why are you giving them to the walk ins and not the people who have an appointment? This location is my go to for protein powder for my smoothies because not only do they always have it in stock, it's always buy one get one half off every time I need to purchase more. There can be a line at times but it typically moves really fast. Customer service is always good. If you need assistance you can usually find someone really quickly. Store is clean and it's easy to find what you are looking for. This location also offers photo services to include passport pictures if needed. read more

Made covid booster appt for 11am, received confirmation the day before. Pulling into the parking lot, they left a voicemail at 1030a cancelling the appointment . " We are out of covid boosters ". I understand doses can go bad or walk ins happen. But apparently appointments have no meaning, or someone can not count. Do you have time to waste? Go here. Just walk in for the booster and take someone else's dose that has an appt. because the confirmed appt has no meaning whatsoever. Complete waste of my time in the middle of my work day. THANKS WALGREENS. Just make the entire process WALK IN ONLY. At least then you are being honest about the entire process being a roll of the dice. I wouldn't be mad at that. read more

Please don't fill your prescriptions here. Staff is incredibly rude. Was waiting in drive thru line for almost 30 min. And when I finally got to the window they said they were closed. I was there before they were closed. The lady behind the counter said that she had turned off all the computers because it was "9:01" one minute after closing. Very toxic and piss-poored customer service with their Pharmacy staff. I I found them to be very Incompetent and Deceptive. They have lied to repeatedly on when coming in f9r a prescription Refill. Instead of being courteous and kind, they have treated me with complete Prejudice and Discrimination. Even thou I went through all the right steps legally, they still refuse to prescribe me my medication for unethical and Prejudiced reasons. My doctor contacted them twice on the matter and yet they refuse to do their jobs putting my life in danger. In a way they have completely stepped out of their domain and dec8ded to play doctor even thou they have no idea of what my background story is or what I'm being treated for and why. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and malicious. They should be prosecuted under law, have their license ripped away and be sentenced to prison. Conveniently located close to our home and many other new and existing neighborhoods. It's everything you would expect from a Walgreens. I prefer Walgreens over CVS because they have Redboxes. So if I feel like watching newly released movies while picking up prescription meds, satisfying a Diet Coke craving, or buying more black eye-liner that I don't need, Walgreen's is the place I would choose to go. read more

This particular Walgreens pharmacy is particularly frustrating. There is always confusion, delay or some problems getting scripts filled. They need to start getting it right. The call in system doesn't seem to work consistently and they are very slow. Months back I was asked to participate in a program where all routine meds would be filled and ready for one stop pick up, still not complete and again meds not ready today after calling yesterday. Visited your store on Hoadly Road in Woodbridge, VA to get flu shots for my family. Went to the consultation window and waited to be helped. Other customers were in the Pharmacy Express check out line but I was the only one in line for a consultation. I waited a few minutes but no one offered to assist. I could 4-5 staff filling perscriptions but no one offering help at the consultion window. After 5 minutes or so, the pharmacist (I assume she was the pharmacist) said I'll be with you in a minute. Another 5 minutes (or more) passed, I then asked the pharmacist, who had been working filling perscrtiptions right next to the consultation window, if I could get flu shots. The response was yes, but it will be a while, without any further explanation or qualifying what "a while" means. All the while taking care of other customers with their prescription. I can only infer from this visit that consultations and flu shots are not importatnt and are advertised only as a means of keeping up with the competition. read more

I would love to give the place 5 stars, but realized during a recent trip that several items didn't ring up correctly. Instead of correcting it at he register the cashier seemed oblivious and asked if I still wanted the items at the price that rang up. I feel bad for the amount of restocking that they had to do, but {shrug} clearance signs should be followed as stated. This location has unquestionably the worst pharmacy staff ever I've had two occasions in which Customer service was absolutely terrible. On one occasion I dropped off a medication and asked when I could pick it up the lady responded in half an hour I said are you sure cause I don't think I can have it today and she said yes. when I came back I had to wait three more days to be able to refill that particular script On a second occasion I was waiting in line for 20 per minutes with no cars moving. my wife took over the driver seat continued to wait in line and I went inside and asked to speak to a manager. The manager came out and I said did you know that car has been sitting there for 20 minutes and there are several cars behind it. no one is moving, the manager said that shouldn't happen and she went right back to doing what she was doing. She did not address why the car was sitting there. I waited in line another 10 minutes inside the store while my wife waited in the car outside the store I finally got my medication. I walked outside and the lady in the car by the window asked me what is going on inside. No one ever came to ask her why she was at the window. read more

Wanted to ask about flu vaccines, but by the time I drove all the way there, and still was on hold, I saw the sign saying they were out of vaccines. A terrible experience and will never visit this location again. I went to pick up photos to work on a scrapbook for an anniversary gift for my girlfriend. I waited in line for about 5 minutes as a lady stood behind the counter in the photo center and ignored my "excuse me" request for help. It was my first time using their print center and I was nearly clueless on how the center worked. I continued to wait as my request for service was continuously ignored. After just a peek around the corner to see if my name was on a photo bag she immediately raised her voice at me and told me I was not allowed to be back there. I quickly apologized and returned to where I was originally standing but instead of turning away she followed me continued to raise her voice at me while letting me know she would not serve me. After after a little back and forth she again let me know that she would not serve me. This was possibly one of the rudest encounters I've had with an employee anywhere and Walgreens will never have to worry about me returning to any of their locations again. read more

This is the top pharmacy chain out of all of the competitors nationwide. They are the only pharmacy that I've found that actually carries practically all medications in stock(minus the off the wall super specialty kind that nobody carries anywhere) On that note, I've never been told my medication is not in stock locally . CVS and other top pharmacies might be cheaper on select scripts but it's because they don't carry large enough quantities in those particular medications that are listed cheaper. I'm sure you've all heard the phrase "If it looks to good to be true, it probably is." Lets say Safeway, Food Lion & Walmart (example) prices your medication at let's say the $12 range & Walgreens is at the $60 range it's because the other pharmacies don't carry large enough quantities in stock which prevents you from filling your entire script (a months worth) so they price it well below cost knowing they will practically never sell any because they don't actually carry it in stock so they price it dirt cheap just to give the illusion of having the lowest prices. Most pharmacies will not even fill partial scripts, they basically give you what they have on hand and forfeit the rest leaving you short and the only way to get the remaining medication is to go back to your Docter and receive another script for the remainder and submit the second script when it's back in stock, which might not be for several weeks to months. Walgreens carries the most stock out of all the other pharmacies Nationwide and they price their medications accordingly. They also have a prescription membership @ $20 per year which gives you thousands of scripts at $10 or less when it's listed well over $40 in most cases. I love their online pharmacy app. You can request refills and even set up script Delivery! The Hoadly Rd Manassas location is my favorite. They usually fill scripts less than 20 minutes (for non controlled meds) and by law they fill controlled drugs in one hour. Their pharmacy staff is wonderful. I am cash pay so I'm constantly checking the GoodRx app for discounts and they have gone through every single one of my families scripts to find the best price and that's over 20 separate scripts! They saved me over $1000 in one visit! I never have to wait long in their drive-thru and I highly recommend their shopping area as well. They have EVERYTHING! I swear! Lol! So.... If you lasted this long and read my entire review then I'm pretty sure you've already made up your mind as to which pharmacy to use. Choose Walgreens on Hoadly Rd. You won't regret it. read more

Tiffany the pharmacist has helped me several times now with antibiotic prescriptions for my children. She always remembers to include the oral syringe (so I don't have to use a teaspoon) and she is very friendly. This is a convenient and helpful store. I love the drive-thru pharmacy window and the fact that they fill prescriptions until 6pm on Sunday. read more

Good Walgreens like most Walgreens are. I think the staff is a little friendlier and more efficient at the Rt 1 Walgreens but this location is better (less traffic). And this Walgreens is definitely better than the CVS across the street. read more

The pharmacy staff and pharmacist are terrible. I've continued to give them chances due to the proximity to my home, but after today, I'm done. The pharmacist questioned the prescription the physician wrote and I had to go back to the physician's office and get another one. The doctor pointed out to me that it's not the pharmacist's job to question the prescription, and that, if she had questions, she could have simply called her and asked, rather than making me go back for another prescription. It's not the first time I've been given a hard time over the prescription either. This, in addition to very long wait times, has made me decide enough is enough. When they tell you an hour, you return after an hour, and you still have to wait, then go back to the physician AGAIN to get the same prescription rewritten, there is a problem with the pharmacist. Sure, the techs are friendly, but I don't go there for friends; I go there for good customer service, which I do not get. I'm going to drive farther and go elsewhere. read more
