The pharmacy drive thru window usually takes a while to get your Rxs.

This Walgreens SUCKS. I usually come here to pick up photo orders that I place online because it's close to home. In general, the employees here are not customer friendly. There is one employee who greets you as soon as you enter the store, but that's it. I came in two days ago to pick up a photo order. There was a guy behind the register who did not acknowledge me when I approached the counter. After about 2 minutes of complete silence, he finally asked me how he could help me. He acted like I was bothering him. HELLO, ISN'T THIS YOUR JOB? He was rude when he asked for my ID (I was using a credit card) and gave me a insincere thank you when we were done. I walked in a couple of months ago and there was NO ONE around. There was one employee who looked like she was leaving, gave me a look, and left the store. I had to search for someone to help me. Solicitors like to hang out in front of this Walgreens too. Skip this Walgreens if you're in the neighborhood. There's a CVS right across the street, and Target is not too far away either. read more

I have to downgrade this place again because it's really just so irritating now to come here. I am constantly overcharged here. The item on sale is not entered into the system and they have to run and check the shelf tag which always takes at least five friggin' minutes. Of course they do not know what's on sale every week either so they have to go through the ad, too. And unlike other stores, they do not give you the item free if you're overcharged for it. This seems to have 75% of the times I shop here. Even when there is a price sticker on the item, it often rings up at the regular price. WTH? Also, I have spotted many items that are past their expiration date on the shelves. I'm sure this is illegal, and I'm about to write a letter. I never used to check expiration dates, but you can't trust anybody anymore. I think I'm going to either the Walgreens in East LB on Carson from now on. It's bigger, the service is much better, and I never seem to have problems there. read more

I just had a great experience at this pharmacy. The pharmacist Tan and his staff were working so hard and fast. I was in a lot of pain and really needed my prescription. I really appreciate how quickly and efficiently they worked to get my RX filled. Tans name tag said he's been there since 2004. Walgreens has definitely declined in their customer service. I called the pharmacy and was placed on hold which is normal,after waiting the phone ranged continuously,no answer,and guess what? Placed right back on hold. Someone finally answered and said"please hold"!!! I used my cell phone to call,and requested to speak to a manager,her name was Lori,and she was very rude,and unprofessional to be a manager.Anyway,she offered to walk to the pharmacy to get someone to answer the phone.This was after waiting sixteen minutes, and I was told they were busy,but when I initially called,there weren't any calls ahead of me. If you're short staffed,maybe you need to hire more technicians!!! read more

Pharmacy is clean, but had to wait a little bit... as usual. The guy working at the cash register, I think his name was Nick?, was very friendly and apologized for the long wait. He was quick and made the trip to Walgreens a little less painful. Thank you for employing people like him! read more

That's why I like my neighborhood walgreens. I ordered 2 sets a photo cards for half off and as I started sending them out a week later I noticed only 20 envelopes in the box. Who ever packed it probably didn't see 2 sets were ordered, but I called, went in and without a hassle the manager, super nice guy, gave me more envelopes and points for having to come in. It might have been just envelopes but that size is not easy to find. read more

Nice and clean Walgreens located on the Main Street of Atlantic. Since Walgreens has my banks atm whenever I go anywhere and I need cash I make sure I visit this pharmacy/store. The layout is the same as any Walgreens. The parking is plentiful and the staff is nice and quick and to ring you up. read more

I don't know what possessed me to even consider getting a prescription filled at Walgreens. Being someone with a chronic condition, I, unfortunately, have a lot of experience with pharmacies. Stopped at this on as it was a workers comp script and it was close. When I got there they had to check to see if they had naprosyn...weird to me as it's quite common. Then OMG, it's workers comp, only one person knows what to do. One tech asked me if I had the "card". Had no clue what she was talking about so she said she needed the pharmacy billing numbers. I looked at her and said "can't you call?" as there clearly was a number listed under "workers comp billing info". She gave some excuse that it could be the lawyer or whatever and I just told her never mind I'll go somewhere else. Then she said she would call. After waiting a bit, she could not get the info that she needed so I just kicked myself for going there and took my Rx back. At my regular pharmacy, even before I was a regular, they ALWAYS offered to call whoever they needed to and get whatever info they needed. Also, if they weren't able to get a hold of someone, they offer to call the next day for me. I've seen them do it for many people. I thought that maybe the Walgreen's people in Long Beach would be better and more friendly then the ones in La Palma but WOW was I wrong! It's like CVS, apparently they only hire incompetent, unfriendly, unhelpful workers. read more

Slowest service. The manager clearly saw there was a long line and a wait but decided it was more important to stock the Gatorade !

Right before we walked in someone walked in and was greeted. When i walked in with my mom and my son we did not get greeted. We first used their ATM next to the register. We were there for about 5 minutes and then we went to buy the 2 items we were there for. As soon as we arrived to the aisle we began browsing through the products and tried to decide which brand we would decide on. Almost immediately after we started browsing a female employee shows up out of nowhere and pretends to fix and straighten things in a shelf nearby. I'm sure they thought we were there to steal something. There were other shoppers around but yet we were the only ones targeted and observed while shopping. That was the most uncomfortable shopping experience ever at a walgreens. I will NEVER shop there again. They do not deserve my business if they think I am there to do something else. read more

The Pet Shopp Dog Treats are awesome! Our dogs love the Mixed Grill, Duck Jerky and the Sweet Potato wrapped with chicken. I'm so glad to find treats that they like every time! Also the house brand "Nice" sharp cheddar cheese is addicting. Delicious! The people are so nice - I love the beauty counter staff. They take the time to help you pick what's best for you. They know the new products too - i love the products they've recommended. read more

This is the worst pharmacy drive-thru I've ever seen. We sat behind one car for 30 minutes afraid that the minute we'd leave would be they minute they were finished. If there's a problem, they should invite the person inside and clear the drive-through. My kid sat in back hungry and impatient. Going to Target from now on. read more

Love this place always has what I need when it sick season! The place seems to be clean always and keeps friendly staff around. This is my go to pharmacy! If you live near by I suggest clog hear also! read more
