Doesn't make sense how they can say online that the hours of the pharmacy are whatever they are and we go to get a prescription and they are all on lunch. So there is a huge line waiting for them to get back from lunch at the drive thru. They should either take different lunch breaks or hire people that can cover other people. Every time I'm told my prescription is going to be ready at a certain time I go and they tell me 20 minutes so I'm supposed to sit here and wait longer for my prescription I call 20 minutes later and it still isn't ready. read more

So I find out my passport is expired and I need a new photo fast! I wander into the Walgreens in Lakeside and Nina offers to help me. She was so nice and helpful!!!! I will never go back here forsure. They tried to overcharge my prescription by $50.00 by not using the good RX website. Then you go to pay and it won't take my card after trying to run it three times. They say that I can only pay cash because their system is down and I will need to run to the atm. I just want my prescription and want to leave because I have a terrible eye infection. Not the time to be playing games. read more

This is by far the best pharmacy I have been to. I was a Leo's pharmacy customer for years and finally got tired of their lack of service. I switched to Walgreens on Wintergardens Blvd. am I was treated very well! They helped me get all my prescriptions without any hassle. If I could rank it a zero I would. Take your business somewhere else. Pharmacy is horrible. They make you wait for 20 mins before even trying to help you, when no one is in line. Then they tell you that they cant hand out the prescriptions because the Pharmacist is on break. This has now happened three seperate times. This is after they call you nonstop to come get your prescriptions. I have been called twice today by them. Poorly run, horrible service. I have been in customer service for 25 years. Management here has to go. Taking business to CVS. read more

I went into this Walgreens to pick up some cosmetics & a few other items. I kept getting bothered by the staff in cosmetics (I guess because I was crouched down & they were wanting to avoid theft, I get it. But if they down want people to crouch they shouldn't put a stack of nail polishes on the ground.) anyway, I went to go pay & the most RIDICULOUS thing is you have to pay for cosmetics in the cosmetic department where of course there was no one to be found when I wanted to pay. So I had to wait for someone at the front & return to cosmetics. It's a horrible system & I won't shop here again for the lack of convenience. read more

My experience at Walgreens this afternoon was not acceptable!! The cashier seemed more interested in doing other things than checking out customers. I ended up returning the items I was going to purchase to the appropriate shelves and leaving the store. Customer service was not acceptable!!! read more

The Pharmacy is amazing. I am from out of state with out of state insurance and they did everything possible for me to be able to get my prescription in California. They're "automated" system for prescription drugs miserably fails repeatedly. Our dog has seizures, requiring two meds every twelve hours. Our local veterinarian prescribes the med and sends over the prescription authorization to Walgreens Pharmacy. The pharmacy tells us that the Veterinarian doctor, either, has not authorized the meds, or that the doctor has not provided them the authorization. I/we then have to make repeated calls to both the vet and Walgreens and have multiple authorizations sent by the vet until Walgreens "finds" the request/authorization. Zero stars for the repeated inconvenience every time we need to refill, but bumped it up to two stars because once the prescription is finally ready, their drive-through service is really convenient and pretty quick. read more

The pharmacy drive thru literally takes 30 mins to service one to two cars ! They definitely need more techs .

I cannot believe this place. Unfortunately they are the only Pharmacy in town that carries the generic I can take. But, they claim my Doctor wont "work" on their system. I have been trying for weeks. It took me 4 trips, 5-6 phone calls and 2 e-mails to veterinarians to get my dog's seizure med refilled, even though I've been going there for years. On the 3rd trip, Mike the manager apologized, said he'd talk to the staff, and gave me 5 days supply of the med. On the 4th trip they were very cooperative, but by then I was completely fed up. read more

The workers in Cosmetics will badger you your entire visit while you are trying to peacefully shop. I don't need to be asked every 2 minutes if I'm still finding everything ok. I've worked retail so I know that it's a loss prevention tactic they are performing by asking customers repeatedly if they need any help. It's supposed to help deter shoplifters from stealing. I get it!! But I'm not stealing and I'm a paying customer so leave me the hell alone while I am shopping!! read more
