Not to be confused with Crawlgreens, which is for babies I suppose. This is the Walgreens up on Ella and 43rd, and we're not big fans at all. Service isn't great and prices are typically high, as with every other version of this massive corporate chain. Having said that, Barbie prefers WG to most chain pharmacies, just this not location so much. I guess it's only good in a pinch, but I'm definitely not a big fan - to say the least. read more

I hate this pharmacy. I don't understand why they are so so subpar compared to other Walgreens but I always wait at least 20-30 min the drive thru and the majority of the time my prescription has not been filled even though it's been 8-24 hrs. Then I have to wait again to pick it up. read more

Workers have no urgency, Pharmacist does not step in to help the ridiculously long line. Only one person actually working while all others laugh and take their sweet time in the back, doing who knows what. Management needs to do better and hire more staff. This store is complete and utter BS! I scheduled a Covid vaccine for myself after a relative did his at another store . I had the confirmation number and everything . I got there and the rude clerk at the pharmacy started arguing with me seemingly about a confirmation code . I told her I had it. She told me I shouldn't have even been able to schedule it in the first place because she has 5 scheduled and there were 5 shots left . So they gave my shot away to someone else (I'm disabled and probably needed it more ) I asked if I could reschedule at another location after she said I could wait around and see if Nobody showed up (actually I don't tolerate blame shifting on their scheduling service and insolence like she gave). Because of their poor organization and "scheduling company " letting me schedule one after 5 which I had no control over their website allowed me to schedule (but was blamed for ) I didn't get my vaccine . Someone else got it , and If I end up sick it's on them. Stay the hell away from this Walgreens to "schedule a vaccine" they clearly don't know how to tell time and keep proper scheduling records and allow double booking so that those who are in need of it with health conditions like myself go without . The health professional who worked in the clinic on 11/18/18 @ 2pm is extremely unprofessional. We did a walk in because we were told from a pharmacist at W 18th to do that. No appts were available. I asked if my husband could be seen- she said only if one of her Pt's didn't show up she could. We waited & obviously her appt didn't show up. She came out & said "okay." My husband walked back & she said "I can't see you if you're sick." He wasn't sick. He needed his skin looked at. She said "I don't have time, my next one is in less than 20 mins." My husband said he needed his skin to be looked at. She shuts the door & then two seconds later I hear it open. She's ushering my husband out because I was holding his ID & she didn't have time for him to come grab it. Rude. Disrespectful. Won't ever come again. read more

I went to the drive thru to get Infant Tylenol. She asked me if I knew which one, size, flavor or price. I said flavor doesn't matter and the smallest bottle. She brings me back the biggest bottle of off brand Children's Tylenol they have, I asked do you have the brand Tylenol like I asked. She gets an attitude storms off and still brings back Children's Tylenol which I asked for Infant in the beginning in a huge bottle. By then I am bothered and don't want to spend my money here. If people don't want to do their fucking jobs they shouldn't be there. Mind you it is 30 degrees outside and I have an infant in the car that is about to go to the doctor and get shots. I usually come here for photo printing - place the order online, and then pick them up. The last time I submitted an order, I didn't receive any confirmation for pick up, but it was hours past the time that I'd requested so I went anyway. When I arrived here, however; they told me that the machine to print 8x10s was broken so they couldn't print my order. You know what would have been nice? If someone would call me and inform me instead of just having me sit around and wait and wonder about my order. The staff told me to come back the next day first thing in the morning. I was in no rush so I was like, "fine". TWO DAYS LATER, I came back to pick up the pictures. And guess what? The machine was still down!! HELLO?! You have my phone number! Do you not know how to operate the telephone? At this point I told the person helping me to just go ahead and cancel the print. She said okay and I left. Later that evening, I received a phone call (a missed call) from Walgreens from someone informing me that the machine was still down and that if I wanted to print the pictures at a different store, I should resubmit my order. Bruh, what part of CANCEL don't you understand? Like seriously? Three days after the machine went down and after I'd asked to cancel, THEN you call me? Like, really? Seriously? Nope. I used this location's pharmacy for the first time this week. The male pharmacist, Loc, helped me get all my prescriptions sorted out. I know he was busy, but you couldn't tell because he was very patient and helpful. Then, I went to pick up the meds the next evening, and the female pharmacist, Zena, was just as wonderful. Now, the biggest and most helpful of them all was Britney. The entire pharmacy staff is awesome! Someone needs to give this store kudos for all the staff because you don't see that genuine customer service as often anymore. read more

WORST Healthcare clinic ever. If you need to get a scout physical, don't bother getting it here. Varsha Ram will not do it. I took my son and she said she needed his complete medical history in order to even do the physical (you don't). I went here a few months ago for my own physical and she said the same thing. When I showed her my history printout she said it wasn't official ("signed by a doctor") so she wouldn't accept it. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere and got it signed off at a better Walgreens. I've told all the families in my troop to go elsewhere for physicals. read more

Parking lot is busy- and actually fills up during peak hours. There is a Red Box machine out front. This Walgreens has nice employees, efficient photo center, pharmacy can have a long line. The only problem with this store is the parking lot. Lock your car and dont leave anything out on the seats. read more

However the consecutive series of ungracious & curt service prompted me to add a review. Absolutely horrible pharmacy. Do not use this location for your pharmacy! I made the mistake of using this location when I had a surgery pending. I went to this location to take the required COVID PCR test in order to have the surgery. I followed the instructions, took the test, and the Walgreen's personnel botched the test, which came back as "Inconclusive" with a note regarding how the personnel failed to include both of my identifiers on the test. Even the hospital people said they have never seen an inconclusive covid test. Luckily, I was able to find a Curative testing appointment, otherwise Walgreens would have caused my surgery to be rescheduled. Trust me, you do NOT want that kind of needless stress before an operation! But wait...there's more! After the surgery (I did not have time to switch pharmacy info with my doctors/surgeons as the covid test debacle was a Saturday and my procedure was Monday), Walgreens screws up again and does not have my prescription (including badly needed pain medication). After having no clue about the prescriptions my surgeon called in, Walgreens leaves me a series of automated messages stating that my prescriptions are "either ready or delayed" Seriously?! My wife goes and was able to pick up the prescriptions except the pain medication, which Walgreens claimed to be working with my insurance on. They call again just before 9:00PM (when they close) to say the prescription was ready, not giving us time to make it there before they closed. Needless to say I suffered an agonizing night of abdominal pain which absolutely could have been avoided if the Walgreens personnel were more proactive and had their act together. Botching the covid test was bad enough, the pain medication delay was completely unforgivable. The need to shut that pharmacy down. They are completely incompetent and I am sure that I am not the only person who has suffered as a result. read more

Their customer service at checkout is garbage. One of the ladies started arguing with me about nothing when I was in a rush and she's not much nicer to the other customers. A lot of stuff is overpriced and they're too slow when it's busy. There's always a line. Also, I've been asking for a Walgreens card so I don't have to type in my number and they never, ever have any. It's been like 2 years. One of the best Walgreens in the area, everything is always so nice and clean in the store. They always have seasonal items, sale items, available before and during holidays and in stock, staff is always friendly and for the most part available when called on for assistance. The parking lot and area is always pretty busy because of being in such a great location with multiple stores and restaurants. Let's not to mention prices are lower than most sales of their competitor, CVS! However, the pharmacy should go down in history as being one of the worst, the main reason I have prescriptions filled else where, the lines there are always long, medicine is never ready on time and the employees back there have crappy attitudes. Store would receive 5 stars if they improve the system used in an all things concerning the pharmacy, and since it has been like this for years, don't think they will be making any improvements. read more

The retail store (non-pharmacy) section of this Walgreens location is fine. The people at the checkout counter have always been friendly when I go in. However...the PHARMACY is pretty bad. My wife and I have both been to this location numerous times (it's near our home), and the pharmacy is continuously slow and often unorganized and/or incompetent. Transferring a prescription from another Walgreens was a nightmare. Bringing in a written prescription usually involves a wait of at least 1-2 hours. The drive-through is hardly quick or convenient. Honestly, I think the main issue is that they are understaffed. I've only ever seen 2 people behind the pharmacy counter, and this area of town is growing very rapidly. Maybe they can't keep up with the boom in population. Regardless, it's not a new problem and their management should fix it. We've begun to rely on pharmacy locations close to work rather than home. read more

I honestly don't know what it is about the pharmacy here. It seems to attract folks who have never actually been to a pharmacy before; folks with special needs who have multiple issues with insurance, physicians, allergic reactions, drug interactions, etc., etc., ad nauseam. On one memorable occasion, I stood in a line of only four customers--remarkably short for this Walgreen's location. The first customer was in a battle royale with her insurer over coverage, and we were all treated to lengthy diatribes about the state of health care in this nation. The second in line--literally--bled all over the counter. Just when I thought that the third in line--a lady in her early 50s--looked more or less like a normal neighborhood resident, she produced a note to the pharmacy clerk asking that the staff call her doctor's office. She couldn't speak. I realize that this isn't the fault of the Walgreen's staff. Their customers are who they are. But I've seen prescriptions lost, lines 10 customers long, and a general atmosphere in the pharmacy that looks like barely controlled chaos. Stacks of prescriptions sit there awaiting processing, and one simply has to wonder if orders are getting mixed up or lost. I know that I have had prescriptions go missing--and thus, unfilled--for 24 hours before turning up and finally being filled. It doesn't inspire confidence--which is really the one thing you genuinely want from the folks filling your prescriptions. read more

It is your typical Walgreens helps you save money now that they have the rewards card. Make sure you are subscribed to their special weekly offers. If you use it wisely you will save a lot of money. It is still dirty looking but the employees there are very helpful. The employees ask how your day is and they carry a conversation which is pretty nice so that's good. They have improved on the customer service but the look inside is still dirty. read more

Ridiculously slow, wish I could give them a "zero" rating. I had a COVID testing appointment at 4:15. I showed up at 4:05 (the email said to be 5 minutes early). I waited in line for 45 minutes, and when I got to the window at 4:50, I was told that I was no longer in the system because I was late. I feel for the folks who get their prescriptions filled here because most of the people in froth of me seemed to be waiting 10 minutes just to get prescriptions. read more

This walgreens pharmacy drive through was VERY POOR!! 1.YOU can barely hear the young girl 2.She wasn't pleasant 3.She didn't bother to look up my info after swiping my INS card to find out it's been the same and that I've gone to other locations. She was quick to say it's not active... or something cause I couldn't hear her. My husband just had his Rx filled yesterday at another location. Not helpful AT ALL, I think she needs to care a little more about people and SMILE!! I called another location- problem solved- just like THAT!!!! Hmmmm THAT GIRL just didn't wanna do her job......
