The pharmacist at Village Compounding was rude and arrogant. My dr. had sent in a prescription for pills to be ground into a smaller dose. I had never been to Village before and didn't know I would receive an inquisition. The pharmacist rudely asked me questions such as was I going to take the prescription! And he had no reason to ask me anything, just fill my drs. prescription. So I went elsewhere because I did not trust this rude pharmacist. read more

The young girls working at the pharmacy are definitely not "can do" people. I needed a prescription filled in 1 hour and 20 minutes and the girl on the phone immediately began making excuses why it could not be done - because of compounding.... But my prescription did not need compounding - she just had a negative attitude. I got off the phone with her and immediately called my dr who immediately approve the prescription (refill), called back the pharmacy for some more negative tone and "we will try....and we will call you when it is ready if we can get it today." Seriously? I called back about 18 minutes before they close to be told to hurry and get there because they close in 15 minutes - which I could do because I live close but what if I lived 45 minutes away? It was raining and it is Friday at 5:45!!! Traffic to this place is horrible. Absolutely rude. I told them I am moving my business to Piney Point. I have spent a LOT of money at this pharmacy over the past 1+ years and to be treated with such disrespect is outrageous. Whatever happened to serving the customer? Sadly for the owner, when he is not around, they staff is rude (as was the female there when I picked up and complained and she started with, "well ma'am" and a snotty tone of voice.) I've been in service industries all my life and this is NOT the way you treat a customer. Guess what? I'll take my expensive prescriptions elsewhere. read more

I love that the staff was wearing gloves and masks when I came in. Definitely made me feel safe. They filled my prescription very quickly. They also found a way for me to save money on it. I appreciated the business telling me about the extra savings. I love businesses that truly try and help each customer. I would never recommend this pharmacy. The level of service was ridiculous bad. I called the after hours number to clear up a mistake regarding prescriptions they were supposed to release to my pharmacy. The pharmacist on call answered the phone outside and couldn't even hear me. When I explained the situation he said that there was nothing he could do. Here I am a sick older woman in pain, and he had no solutions except for me to check my language.... wow just wow read more

I've been using Village Pharmacy for many years (5-6?), and I've never had a problem. Not one. Everyone seems helpful and competent, at least as far as my single prescription goes. Others tell me not to use their mailing service, as that often gets confused, so I never have. If you have problems, talk with the people there - they've always been very helpful to me. They are always accommodating when I call and need a prescription in a hurry or I'm stuck in traffic and they stay open just a few extra minutes for me. Village Compounding Pharmacy has been around a long time for numerous reasons, but in my mind they earned my business by always going out of their way to make sure i am taken care of. They may be known in the medical community for their sterile labs and PCAB accreditation but i feel that their mom and pop shop culture makes a big difference in how they treat people and the attention they pay to specific needs. read more

I want to thank Village Pharmacy for taking such good care of me. Recently I ordered a perscription and due to the Texas summer heat it was ruined. They had packed it properly, but during deliverly the Fedex truck broke down causing it to be delayed by a day which destroyed it. They quickly sent the persciption out again without an issue. I would think they could file claim with Fedex since it was a problem on their end. Regardless as a customer they took care of me and for that I appreciate them so much. I highly recommend this pharmacy and their staff. read more

I still have not received my medication after a week of phone calls. Staff just does not care. Village's service has gone down hill. I just give up. My medication is very expensive. I will have to buy my medications elsewhere. read more
