I gave these guys a pretty bad review a few months ago and I want to say that they have made some real improvements recently in their service. They are answering their phone and filling prescriptions promptly without being prodded to do so. I am truly amazed ! Good Job you guys !! I really appreciate your service and that you take criticism seriously and act on it. So happy :) read more

The pharmacy hours are very limited and the lines are always long. If you call you are on hold *forever* until their phone just hangs up on you. In the meantime, while waiting desperately for someone to answer the call, the voice robot tells you the same message over and over and over and over and over and over. Sheer madness! So annoying! Even if you put it on "hold" while you wait, you get a million texts with the same stupid messages. Very frustrating. I should have just used a order pharmacy like Tely RX or PPS. Pharmacy is a joke. Went two times today alone to pickup my refills and on the second trip they informed me they were out of my medication and the others were not filled. They told me I would have to wait until Monday or have them transfer it to the Coburg pharmacy. I opted to have them transfer it, she spoke to the pharmacist supposedly who said they would be ready in an hour(after river rd is closed). Showed up to coburg only to find out nothing was sent and it would be an hour wait. WTF!?!? I've spent close to 5 hours today trying to pick up refills, it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. These people are rude and don't seem to really care about their jobs. read more

Your services and inevitable failures are NOT worthy of my time. I have been a loyal customer since 2014. You have lost a loyal customer of 11 years. I scheduled my flu vaccination for today at 4:10. I arrived at 4 and tried to usr the QR code to check in, when I wasn't able to I approached the window. I spoke with a pharmacy technician, 20 years my junior, who "explained" in condescending tone "I guess you didn't make an appointment". This. The team lead never said sorry for the issue/inconvenience. poor customer service. Doesn't surprise me these days nuts still annoying they don't even seem to care read more

My last time here. The level of incompetence is shocking. We are not talking about getting the wrong order at Starbucks. They should not have people like this in charge of medication. It is not only that they cannot do the simplest things, but that all the senior staff seems, right on the the tip of their tongue, a reason why it is someone else's fault. It is your fault, it is your doctor's, it is your insurance. They simply cannot do the most basic things you would expect of a pharmacy. Like receive an order, fill it, and call you when it is ready. Forget it. It is a crap shoot. Today I went in there because I was switching from OHP to Medicare and brought my insurance card to enter in their system. First they couldn't find the medication they told me would be ready two hours ago. I literally saw 4 or 5 different people looking for it. No one had a clue. The pharmacist came over and criticized the order, said it was goggledygook but wouldn't explain why. Walked away. Then they tried to charge me full price because they forgot they had my new insurance card and needed to put it in their system. Once they remembered, they were unable to enter the Medicare card into their system. Called over a senior member, and she couldn't either, mumbling under her breath about 'these cards' as if they were the problem. Then she told me it was PacificSource that was the problem so I had to call them. The feeling I got was that she had no idea what she was doing, too proud to admit it, and sent me off on a wild gooses chase to make her life easier. All with the greatest confidence and authority. Called PacSource who had no idea why they should be responsible for entering things in the Walgreen's database. The creepy thing is that no one ever makes eye contact or directly addresses the fact that they can't do simple things. They mutter under their breath and ignore you and make excuses to themselves. Just think about it. Do you want to trust your health to people who cannot even enter information from a health card into a computer? Do you want them handling medication? People who can't look you in the eye and are always looking to deflect the blame? I was there almost two hours for an order that was supposed to be ready and a Medicare insurance card that needed to be entered into their system. I finally came to the conclusion that the medication I was waiting for was not strong enough to address the frustration caused by the people who worked there, so I left. Don't do this to yourself. Find another pharmacy. read more

Unbeleivably slow wait and response times for filling prescriptions. I waited over a week to pick one up and then was told it still hadn't been filled. Asked to come back the next day and it still wasn't filled. My doctor sent my prescription to them again before I could ask for a different pharmacy and a week later I can't even pick it up at the other pharmacy because it's stuck in their (Walgreen's) system and they still haven't cancelled it! What the F***! After having to come back for the 4th time because of the incompetency of the Pharmacy Department .... I did not realize that this particular Pharmacy was closed on weekends. It seems, while a large majority of the population is off on weekends, and where people would kinda find it convenient at that time to, let's say, pick up medications ... it would seem like #Walgreens would have the intelligence to have some kind of hours where the Pharmacy would be open (!?) What a crappy business plan and crappy efficiency to the customers. Would NOT recommend this Walgreens. read more

Worst pharmacy- with people who lie to you and tell you one thing, only to wait literally for hours, and have someone blame someone else for not dealing with it appropriately. I have taken every prescription out of here, and as I filled the last one I had to, they closed the outside line, after letting people wait there for over an hour. Oof! I just had a really gross encounter at Walgreens on River road. A Blonde white Woman mid 50's maybe 60's came in with no mask on as I was checking out. I said ma'am you forgot your mask. She got in my face and stared me down then cut through the line of people instead of walking around us all. ...K. I asked the clerk at the stand if she saw what had happened and she said they couldn't do anything to enforce people wearing masks. I get it, but dang. I'm glad I at least work for a company during this that empowers us to refuse service to these kind of people. Considering this location has already been temporarily closed during the pandemic due an employee getting Covid you would think that they would make some kind of effort to ensure the MOST basic of protection of their employees. I know I won't be a future Walgreens customer. read more

Heard a member of the pharmacy staff tell another person if they were legally allowed to close, due to staffing and medication shortages, they would. I'm not sure what legalities are in place to falsely create expectations that your basic important medical needs can be taken care of there, but this is a scary nightmare for many people. Kind of thing one shouldn't have to overhear. On top of that, they would not or could not answer basic questions like 'okay that one medication you don't have in stock at all, but what about the other two?' even after two hours of waiting immediately after they opened. Some people have jobs you know. I had to transfer everything back to Walmart pharmacy which has honestly also been pretty bad, but it's catered to by a different medication vendor so they currently have things in supply the others do not. (This was explained to me by the nurse from my doctor's office who was thankfully helping me juggle this issue so my kid can get his medicine). Hold onto your butts folks, this is going to be a bumpy ride. read more

Does anyone have a pharmacy they like? I'm looking for a new one. They are always so slow here. It seems like only one person is ever working the window, and the line is always down the store isles. They take a lunch break mid day and totally close down during most peoples lunch hours and they arent open before normal work hours. And I also found out from my Dr that each pharmacy gets to set the prices of how much they charge for medications. My medications after insurance was over $80 and my Dr told me thats crazy and should have been $20 or $30 and to shop pharmacies. So over Walgreens. But the ladies working are usually nice once I get to the window. read more

Absolutely awful service in the pharmacy department. I understand the entire world is short staffed right now, but since Bimart was bought out I've spent HOURS of my life waiting in line to get my prescriptions. Argh . Still waiting for my prescription. It's been weeks. Hope I don't pop a vessel. Crazy. I used to love Walgreens.

It honestly blows my mind (and not in a positive way) how gosh dang SLLLLOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW this pharmacy is. And it has been like this since way before the pandemic. As I'm typing this I've been sitting in the drive thru for over 20 minutes and only ONE CAR has moved. There are currently six cars in front of me and another 4 behind me. Waiting 45 minutes in the drive thru line is not uncommon, in my experience. They also seem to have a big issue with getting my prescription refilled- every time I try to refill the same medication I've gotten every single month for 5 years, they tell me I have no more refills, even though when I call my Dr office this is not the case. They tell me I have unlimited refills. Other times, I get told there's been an issue with my health insurance and my refill has been delayed. It's always some sort of hold up here. I plan on switching to the Bi-Mart pharmacy so I can finally avoid this absolutely abysmal place. 10/3/21 - Just wanted to update this to say that: 1. I ended up waiting in the drive thru for an entire hour to pick up my prescription. 2. Walgreens YET AGAIN is telling me I have no more refills available and the app is not giving me any way to request more. I will be switching to Bi-Mary pharmacy tomorrow to avoid the constant headache that is Walgreens. read more

Worse than the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They notified me by text and email that my prescriptions were ready. When I went to pick them up two days later, they were not ready, and the pharmacy clerk told me, "We notify you when we start to work on your Rx, not when it's ready for pickup." I had to go back twice and wait Hours to get 2 medications, and they would not fill the 2nd order although I had a Bi-Mart bottle of the medicine with 2 refills and was within the refill date. Walgreens purchased the Bi-Mart pharmacies recently. Rude, rude, rude. To make matters worse, the clerk at the front cash register would Not give me the code to the restroom, even though I am professionally dressed, clean and respectable. Rude Again! I like this particular Walgreens because I know when you go to most of them the staff can have an overwhelming tendency to give you the feeling you are doing something wrong, even when you are not. I have heard this from many people. I don't feel that here. I usually use high end make up, but there has been times when I have been in need of drug store make up, and they have a great selection. I also like the selection of the Holiday Isles they usually provide. I feel like a kid in a candy store.... Well it is a candy store!! Ha!! I try to avoid the candy isles! They have great deals on the box candy, if you are in to that sort of thing. Great for stockings, Easter, before movies, Valentine's Day, and the list goes on. I have gone here for vitamins, or cold meds, or other miscellaneous items. The latest cool item, was dry shampoo that I didn't think I would like. I usually like the salon brands and spend $30 or more on it. This one is the travel size, as I don't use it often. But I just wanted to let you all know this stuff works as good as Kevin Murphy, Bumble and Bumble, and Unite. I almost forgot the one thing I do not like about this store is the pharmacy. They get your info wrong, they are slow, and I would have to agree with all the other reviews on here about the pharmacy. Other than that I like the store. read more

Well, I have to agree with the others. This review is strictly for the pharmacy. The rest of the place is pretty OK. The pharmacy is craptastic! It's slow as ever, the pharmacists in particular are rude. It's terribly understaffed. And don't bother with the drive thru, you'll be there all day. Walgreens - Been sitting behind these TWO cars for 24 minutes.... - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

This review is ONLY for the pharmacy. In my limited dealings with the other areas of the store, I've found the employees to be very nice, especially the cashiers they have. However, this pharmacy overall is terrible. When you drop off a prescription, it always takes longer than they say. So you could be sitting there waiting for a very long time. Or, you may never get it if you don't wait around. This has been less of an issue for me until today, although it's something I've noticed every visit. I had a 2 pill prescription called in today, that I need for an appointment tomorrow. Literally 2 pills, that's it. Not a weird drug either. I called to ensure it was called in, and asked when it's be ready. I was assured it would be less than 2 hours, definitely, 100% ready by then. So, I waited 6 hours, and went to pick it up. The lady informed me that it wasn't ready and it would be at least another hour. No sorry for the delay, no apology. I was told though, that they were a man down, and backed up. You know what I do when we are a man or two or three down at my job? Work harder, provide honest estimates to customers so they have an accurate expectation, and apologize profusely if there is a delay. I don't make excuses and treat the customer like they are an inconvenience to me. This is the last time I will be using this pharmacy. There are way too many other pharmacies in town that I won't inconvenience with my small, easy, infrequent prescriptions. read more

I have been trying to transfer my prescriptions for a week and have gotten nowhere. After my 5th phone call I was assured they would be filled this afternoon. I get there and all they have for me is excuses. When I try to tell the technician I'm now out of medication, the "pharmacist" started yelling at me because they are so overworked. Seriously, I get this is a tough time because of the COVID vaccines, but you are yelling at a customer because I'm a CUSTOMER? My advise would be to go anywhere other than this joke of a pharmacy! read more

I needed some non-COVID vaccines, so I called to make an appointment. Walgreens' automated phone message told me that I don't need an appointment for that, and I should just walk in. Great! When I arrived, I was told that I needed an appointment. I don't appreciate being told one thing only to discover--after wasting my time--that I have to do something else entirely. I would have made an appointment in the first place, days ago, and been done with this. But because they lied to me on the phone, and because they would not honor what their own phone line is telling customers, it's now going to be days before I can get this taken care of. Being busy is one thing, misinforming customers and then refusing to make it right is another. It's a shame we don't have many good options for pharmacies in this town, but we certainly have ones that can do better than this. read more

We have managed to avoid Walgreens for the past year, but when I needed a COVID booster and the Lane County Clinic had closed temporarily, out of desperation I got on their website. After half an hour I finally found an appointment two weeks out. But no, after a few days I realized that I had no confirming email and once again Walgreens let me down. And I read in the financial page that the parent company is embarking on a long term "efficiency" project which means they will treat employees even worse and service will be even poorer--hard to imagine that. read more

The pharmacy is terrible. We actually stopped using Walgreens, even though it is the closest pharmacy to us. Between the limited hours they are open to long times to have prescriptions filled, and wrongly being told that our prescriptions were ready, which made waiting in line for 45 or more minutes all the more frustrating and maddening! We're probably going to change pharmacies again, because the one we switched to is not much better. I realize that there are staff shortages, but to not be able to check to see if they are ready by phone, and then to have to come over and stand in line, only to find out it isn't ready is ridiculous. Just have someone answer the phone and check on that would be a great help and improve your customer service. Sorry for the bad review, but I don't need the frustration and stress of dealing with all of that. read more

Do not send your prescriptions here if you can avoid it. I unfortunately am bound to Walgreens as I own a home in New York State as well and travel frequently between the two locations.
