This is one of the WORST Walgreens I have been to. I understand that they are short-staffed and don't hold that against them, but the staff is grotesquely incompetent and does not care about their customer experience at all. This is true for both the pharmacy (long waits, visibly ignoring you, rude when they do talk to you) and the general front store. I will be going out of my way to avoid this store and transferring my prescriptions to a different pharmacy all together - no one at this location is helpful or even cares. This is the WORST walgreens I have ever been to. I have had THREE issues with their photo department. Each time they have told me to come back saying "it's not ready" Even though I got multiple emails of the prints being ready. I go in each time, and they know nothing. They don't know how to work the photo printers. They have no idea what they are talking about. read more

This Walgreens has been one of the original stores in this area, going back to when the nearby homes in Erie Commons were been built, so it has been a staple of my family for buying snacks and last minute items. They also sell spirit gear from the local high school: Erie Tigers. It's a regular Walgreens, but it also carries ice cream, milk, cereals, and an assortment of groceries that is wonderful so you can avoid driving to the supermarkets. It has a drive through pharmacy, and plenty of parking. read more

Don't understand why but the store won't open on time and also closes early. Had to call one time and ask them to open their doors 7 minutes after they were supposed to be open. The employee on the phone gave me attitude and then unlocked the doors. Tried to come the other day 30 minutes before close and had the employee look at us with the doors locked. A couple people were leaving and the employee had to unlock the doors for them and then didn't allow us in and mumbled under her breath. Change the hours online or don't open/close late. read more

Worst place for passport photos! The staff/lady who took my photos was standing so close in front of my face with digital camera and told me this is the way they do it. The result was not good at all, I did not even know what to say. Wish their staff were trained properly. We paid $16.99 for just two pictures. Not worth it. read more

I out of desperation I asked my medication to be called in to Walgreens as it was close and my daughter was really sick. Worst service ever. The man at the drive up window couldn't spell or read. Asked me to scan a paper for a coupon then said it wouldn't work because I didn't have Medicaid. He then told me I was taking too long at the window and had to leave. Two different people were working the drive through window to try to figure out mu prescriptions and one of them didn't even get filled. Horrible customer service!!! Very incompetent!!! If I could give this place negative stars I would. We've gone to (and been disappointed by the service at) this location for five years now. Their turnover rate is ASTRONOMICAL. I've lost count of the screwups, short scripts, and rude encounters I've had there. Here's just the most recent. Night of a big storm. A foot of snow incoming. I ordered one of two available refills using the app. Go to the store as the snows starting one day after my refill was confirmed. I sit in my car in line for 20 minutes (not unexpected and that's ok; busy night. I get it). When it's my turn at the drive up window outside, I'm first told I didn't place the order (I did. With proof). Then I'm told I didn't have refills available (I did. With proof). Then she tells me it was a computer glitch. Their fault. Sorry. They'll rush it. Please pull around and give them 15 minutes (which I do). I get it. These things happen. 20 minutes later in my car I reach the end of TikTok and my account hasn't updated so I go inside. It's now been well over an hour since i left my house. I'm sitting waiting as folks just keep leaving due to the snow now accumulating. Ten more minutes go by and a pharmacist asks my name. I provide it. He then tells me my prescription can't be filled until tomorrow. And he says their "system is locked until [they] can talk to [my] doctor tomorrow." WHY?! So much WHY?!!! Was it a computer glitch? If so, why tell me it's a rush order and please wait?! If I have two available refills WHY is ANYTHING "locked?" Omg. I was once on morphine and this pharmacy gave me ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY MORE PILLS THAN MY RX REQUIRED!! I returned them because I'm not a freaking criminal!! And this is only one instance of MANY colossal screw ups!! Excuses like this to cover obvious incompetence that make no sense are made repeatedly. I guess this means I'm insane expecting a different result after this long. PLEASE bring a new pharmacy to Erie. read more

Pharmacy staff - specifically Kelly- is so rude and snotty. She's worked there a long time and is always this way. I cannot understand why anyone would want to work with her- maybe that's why they are all so unfriendly. When I spoke to the manager about it- she seemed less than concerned. The pharmacy is horrible! Do not go for a vaccine unless you have all day to waste. My wife and I showed up for our pneumonia vaccine appointments 20 minutes early, spent 45 minutes in line behind 5 or 6 people to check in and then were told it would be more than an hour to actually get the shots. Within 30 seconds of my transaction the clerk a) let an unmasked, clearly sick person into the store without saying a word, then b) suggested an adult take off their crying child's mask because "kids can't catch covid". When the parent declined, the clerk kept pushing "are you sure? Masks are just so traumatizing for young kids." As a place where old and sick people go to pick up medicine, this was pretty alarming to me. When cases throughout Boulder and Weld counties are spiking we have got to be more vigilant than this, and I sure don't want our local pharmacy to become a hotspot! read more

This is the friendliest store, I especially love the woman in cosmetics. She is amazing at her job and goes to an extreme to help you. I can come in and ask her where the napkins are, and she can tell me exactly where they are. The two older men at the checkouts, Joe and Bill, they are super nice too. My husband has had problems with the pharmacy, I myself do not use them for my RXs. Only thing I can think of is having more open registers when busy. Oh neighborhood Walgreens, how I love you so. You are such a welcome addition to the neighborhood. While we don't go here for primary shopping, we use it frequently for supplemental items. When we are in need of Milk, emergency paper towels, etc, Walgreens never lets us down. I am also frequently surprised at some of the deals that exist at Walgreens. Do you self a favor, if you are in there for something specific, take a look at their ad, you may find some other things you need at a very low price. read more

The staff at this Walgreens pharmacy needs some serious training. The kindest person I have dealt with has been the pharmacist but otherwise the rest of the staff is rude. Every single month I have issues with my prescriptions here...I have taken the same medication for 10+ years with it being filled the same way and anywhere else I have ever gone there has never been a problem. They always tell me I don't have refills when I do, their automated system can never find my refills. They always reach out to my doctor for refills I already have and I have had my doctor call me before and ask why they keep doing this. Anytime you push back or question them you get immediate attitude. If there is an issue where they need to call your insurance they say they will get to it that day and never do. You call the next day and it's still not taken care of and they say its just in que. They seriously need to train their staff accordingly and they need to understand the importance of treating customers the right way and efficiently handling things especially when it come to peoples medication. read more

I thought having my prescriptions close by would be great, but the girls in this pharmacy all have attitudes. The actual pharmacists I don't have issues with, but there is a tall blonde that rolled her eyes while turning to retrieve my scripts, and another girl with multiple facial piercings that is so bothered that I wanted to save $60 on my prescription by using the vendor coupon. I really appreciate having this store in our community and I've always been treated well when I go in there. I've had prescriptions filled there and have never had a problem with either treatment from employees at the pharmacy, or with my prescription. I've bought many non-prescription items at the store and I've always been happy with the selection and prices. I am sorry to see that others have had different perceptions of the store, but I wanted to add my two cents worth that I think this is a great store and am so glad we have it in our community. The employees at the check-out counters have been friendly too. And I just called over there to ask if they carried a certain product, and they got back to me quickly and gave me the quantity in stock and the price, and answered a question of how the product worked. So I'm very pleased with everything I've encountered, and I've been going there since they opened. read more

I've used this as our pharmacy for a few years now unfortunately. In the last year they messed up the dosage on my oldest daughters RX and we had to call them and ask why it was changed and they admitted they read it wrong after giving us the run around. Then today when I went to pick up my youngests RX for antibiotics they said it would be 10 min (even though my Dr had called it in an hour before that). After 25 minutes (baby screaming in the car) it was finally ready. I got home with my sick baby, opened her antibiotic and it was powder, they forgot to mix it! The excuse I got when I called was, "well we are short staffed today, sorry you'll have to come back." I had to go have them mix it and the manager met me with a $20 gift card, like I'm ever going back there. Then he added "I guess I didn't check the antibiotic good enough sorry." So they spent close to 1/2 an hour making the label? What a joke! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Three days ago, we set up appointments online for flu shots in the pharmacy. We arrived at our appointed time this morning, only to be told that 1) they knew nothing about our appointments (even though I brought both confirmation numbers with me) and 2) they have no flu shots available. I questioned why we were able to make online appointments only to be turned away in the store, and was met with a ration of excuses about the website being a "Walgreen's thing" - I know it's a Walgreen's thing, I was standing inside a Walgreen's store! The person behind the counter was rude and dismissive, and clearly had no intention of trying to solve our problem. If you know you have a problem with your website, then fix it! Don't blame the customer for following what appeared to be proper procedure. And by the way, the "tall blonde that rolled her eyes" in the review from 1-29-19 sounds like the same rude clerk we dealt with today. We are transferring our accounts elsewhere until this pharmacy gets some clerks that can at least pretend to care about customer service. read more
