Follow me @theblackgirlatleisure for more lifestyle, beauty and experience reviews!…read more Trying a new salon is always a nerve wrecking experience. I've gone to salons with stylists that judged me on the state of my hair health and didn't do much educating at all. When I went to Ulta I had such a completely different experience from start to finish. Customer service: 10/10 When I called ahead to see if there was anyone who was educated on natural kinky coily hair, the stylist who answered (Samantha) was very patient and helpful. She walked me through the services and what she thought could be a good fit. When I got to the salon her great service continued. She had a very welcoming demeanor. Skillset: 10/10 I don't think I've ever had such a gentle hair appointment and on top of that still effective. Samantha is a master stylist at this location and that showed! I loved the way she detangled my hair at the bowl which cut down on detangling in the chair. She even worked the products into my hair so well, I've never felt my hair so soft EVER. She was very gentle with blow drying my hair and not having the dryer up too high. Education: 10/10 Samantha also walked me through a few products that could help with the dryness in my hair and stiffness that I have after blow drying my hair. She recommended a hair treatment and hair balm from sacred in addition to an Amika heat protectant (3 of which I will be buying!). She even recommended ways to retain length/avoid damage for my hair type. I would definitely recommend this location and Samantha! I can't wait to go back for my next trim. I added a before and after of my trim. I decided to not let go as much length as I should because I opted to continue coming back and doing it gradually.

Beware of the store credit card scam!! The cashier Brindy asked if I wanted to open a store credit…read morecard and I said "no" and she proceeds to ask for ID for my transaction. Why? She claimed that information was missing from my rewards account. Next, I noticed on the screen that she is attempting to apply for the credit card anyway. I reiterated that I said no and she asked if I want the 20%. Finally, I said no again and she rudely said to press cancel for the credit card. This behavior needs to stop and it's unprofessional. Ulta Beauty needs to do better and treat customers with respect and dignity.

Newly opened Sephora (Sept. actually), has almost everything you might find at a stand-alone location. Except, this Sephora space is compact. So instead of looking at an endless amount of high-end foundation brands with about 40+ range of skin tones (as they should) at the regular brick-and-mortar Sephora, you'll find a few here. I couldn't pass this baby up so purchased NARS and Fenty Beauty lip colors. I couldn't leave empty-handed. I mean...how could I? Service was nice- especially when the salesperson gave me a thorough product description of each. I like this new Sephora addition inside Kohl's. For me, it super convenient when I'm in this area.

I had to return for two rounds of filler for my lips. They came out very natural, and I was pleased. The only reason I didn't return was due to the high prices, which were higher than most places I've seen and visited. This may be because it is a licensed doctor/surgeon. The staff was very friendly, and the doctor seemed extremely knowledgeable and wasn't pushy at all. The space is also beautiful. I wish I could afford to receive services from them more often. That's the only reason I didn't give a fifth star.

Bodytite Both Arms Bad Results - Dr. Won't Correct Done…read more3/9/19 developed wrinkling of left arm. Right arm has a 3 inch scar and redundant overhanging skin/fat. Appears that Dr. Miller did not treat equal areas on both sides. Following up in October 2019, he offered 3 microneedling treatments and to revise the right arm BodyTite without charge. Microneedling didn't seem to help. I wanted to proceed with the second BodyTite but he changed his mind, refusing to do BodyTite again and offered discounted Morpheus. His emails try to justify that I signed a waiver (doesn't everybody?), results vary and he states BodyTite is a one time procedure (true, if it's done correctly). Do not get this procedure at this office. Dr. is not willing to take responsibility for bad results and is looking to profit from bad results.

I knew that my family was going to be out in West Chester for the day and we passed by this Ulta location all the time. I had pre ordered the Ariana Grande Perfume and two of the Wicked Makeup Brushes. When I made the order I was informed that there was an item that they didn't have although I was still charged for everything. I ended up getting a refund for part of the order and I was allowed to order it directly to my apartment with no shipping cost. The people who helped me get my items and find a solution to the problem were really kind. The store was also easy to navigate, the prices were fair although expensive and I would have to say that this is my second favorite company to get my makeup and skin care products. I'm grateful to having this store accessible to me although not in walking distance.

ULTA Beauty has an impressive array of these skin-saving wonders that I've been using. Plus all their star offerings are here from IT Cosmetics, Ole Henriksen Skincare and so many more.
