Bodytite Both Arms Bad Results - Dr. Won't Correct Done 3/9/19 developed wrinkling of left arm. Right arm has a 3 inch scar and redundant overhanging skin/fat. Appears that Dr. Miller did not treat equal areas on both sides. Following up in October 2019, he offered 3 microneedling treatments and to revise the right arm BodyTite without charge. Microneedling didn't seem to help. I wanted to proceed with the second BodyTite but he changed his mind, refusing to do BodyTite again and offered discounted Morpheus. His emails try to justify that I signed a waiver (doesn't everybody?), results vary and he states BodyTite is a one time procedure (true, if it's done correctly). Many years ago I used Dr. Miller for Ultherapy. I paid over $1000 using a Groupon. This procedure took all of 10 minutes. I asked if that's it and he said yes. I have since had this procedure done again and discovered either he didn't know what he was doing or he scammed me. The exact same procedure took over an hour in another office. They do anywhere from 500 to 800 lines. He did one. There can be no results only doing one line. TMaybe for other people this is not a lot of money. The worst front office staff ever. First appointment was a few weeks ago and walk in to let them know I'm here for my appointment told me I was early due to them having wrong time. Two other people walk in and they are told their appointment time was different than what they were there for. Come back today for follow up and sit there for a half hour after signing in and the front office ladies were all talking and sitting there with view from office window. Come to find out who I need to see is not even there and is in vacation. They have most incompetent office staff. I'll start by saying, MARIA is AMAZING! I originally went in for a IPL photo/finish facial for some acne scaring. However, after looking at my skin, Maria recommended Microneedling. I am so happy she did, because the results have been TERRIFIC! My skin has totally transformed! Not only has the microneedling helped with the scars but the texture of my skin is now smooth and even! I bought a groupon for a series of 3 lasers (Pixel) and went for my first appointment. I was ~10 minutes late to the appointment but they were able to accommodate me, which was nice of them. I thought the Doctor would be doing the treatment, but it was one of his nurses? front of office staff? I'm not really sure. But she wasn't very good, and she severely burned me. I still have scars on my face from being burned by the pixel laser. In particular, she burned the skin off of my nose bridge so badly that the wound was still oozing and bleeding a week later. I have 2 more groupons for the same treatment but will obviously never go back. If you're considering a treatment from the doctor because he has groupons, I'd say -- just read the reviews and the replies. There's a reason these treatments are priced the way they are and not readily available at reputable places at large discounts, especially in the city. read more

I need to start off by saying even though I was unhappy with my service I was not going to write a review but seeing how Dr. Miller bashed my girlfriend after she wrote her review I feel this is a must. When I called the receptionist was rude and in a big rush took my appointment and hung up on me that I didn't even have a chance to ask for the address. I go for my appointment sitting waiting in his office and can her him arguing with his front desk as he walks away from them they are going to town on him saying how miserable he is and that's why he is on wife #4. When he finally enters the office I saw the steam on his face and told him to take a deep breath. I explained to him what I was looking for and that I have had I.T done before and loved I.T but I was looking for someone closer. He teased me to death and did his thing but nothing like my other doctor has done I.T. He said he used over 75 units of Botox which sounds insane especially when I normally receive 30 from my other doctor and walk away more then pleased. He also gave me some filler under my eye. I woke up the next day with extremely heavy eyelids and a big bruise under my eye. I call the office and he makes me come in the following week. I bring my friend because we normally go to the same doctor but she was looking for someone closer also. She just got the Botox because she saw what my eye looked like from the filler. Once again as we are in the office the bickering starts again between the front desk and the dr because they can't find my chart. My friend writes a review about her experience and he comments back about her grammar and how she must of had a poor education and Botox wouldn't help and they are a loving office. Dr Miller I was never shocked that my friend wrote her review. I just felt bad but seeing how you bashed her I'm here to stick up for her . WARNING- Do not go here if you care about your face or your wellbeing. I have been waiting to write this and give Dr Miller time to respond to me but as I have heard nothing I will go ahead. This was the worst Botox experience I have ever had. Dr Miller was 45 minutes late and then rushed into the room and talked over me while I discussed what I wanted. After saying he was going to do a good job because I would refer him to clients (I am a makeup artist) I still didn't feel heard. He was very heavy handed with the needles and burst a blood vessel by my eye (see image attached). I had large pea sized bumps all over my forehead for two days and then low and behold one brow stretched up higher than the other so I look permanently angry. I took advice from my LA based doctor she told me not to go back Incase he injured me further and to wait it out. After spending $400 I feel pretty sick and upset. I wrote to him asking for a refund and expressed my feeling and he did NOT bother to reply. UPDATE-This was the reply from Dr Miller. I think it says everything future patients need to know about him. Unprofessional, spiteful and not in the least concerned for people's well being. "Bruises are always a possible risk when one puts needles in ones face. It's an inherent risk of the procedure. Rare, but it happens even in the best of hands. It's always so sad when I see people use the power of social media to help boost an overall poor self esteem and gain a mild boost but short lived lift to one's ego. I went there once to get a laser genesis with a friend. Maria burned the corner of my mouth and almost a year later I still have a huge round burn. Maria's response " your lighter than your friend - how come she didn't get burned " well ok. I had a huge blister as soon as she finished the treatment- when I pointed it out she said to leave it, it'll go down. It didn't go down it got worse considering my skin was burned. I went back and she gave me the smallest amount of cream that did nothing. I hate my burn mark which won't go away and I'm honestly so distressed because it's on my face. read more

Dr Miller and his staff did it again! I had been sick for a little over a week, and hit a wall. I called Dr Miller's office and told them I need an appointment as soon as possible. They squeezed me in immediately. I was very dehydrated, lightheaded, and running a fever when I walked in. His lovely nurse saw me, helped me to a seat, got me water, and put cold compresses on my forehead. Dr Miller came out to the waiting room and helped me to a room. He examined me, discussed the treatment plan, and a day later I am almost back to myself 100%. I highly recommend Dr. Miller. I am so glad he is my family's primary doctor. read more

I came to his office after I bought a Groupon - and after my regular dermatologist retired and moved to Florida. I returned for another procedure, scheduled a third one. Prices are good. Stuff sometimes is a bit disorganized - however, ( reading another review stating he screamed at them) - I would say he was nice to them ( maybe I would scream in a situation like that, but he was patient - again, maybe Yelp helped with anger management... However, it is a review about the doctor, not about appointment hours... Or maybe both. I came to his office to find out, that my appointment was messed up, and i even was not in the book - however, he made it happen; and it was a long procedure. Yes, the "front end " is a bit disorganized - but it is a new office, let's give them a chance. They still write on paper - hopefully they will invest in a computer system. BTW, if they do, he will need to increase prices - those systems are expensive, that is why we see less and less small offices, and doctors gets together in a big faceless conglomerate, like Westmed on Ridge Hill. So Three stars: actually, five for the doctor, minus two for the front office. I still leave three stars, however, I would to add something about his front office: One day got an email without subject line from Westchester Aesthetic Center ( i had no ideas what it is - no name of dr Miller mentioned); it states, that I must(!!!) register online on some site if I want to keep my appointment. It is a good thing, that they are trying to introduce EPR, but it is not my task to enter information. Furthermore, I did not even feel comfortable entering my data to some unknown data system( and Yes, I know about data and security - I was a Database Administrator for many years). I saw Dr Miller for the first time last week for lung issues. When I walked in i was confused at first because I thought I was in the wrong place when I saw brochures for esthetics and Botox procedures. My appointment was at 10:30 and I arrived at 10:00am and was seen right away. The waiting room and patient rooms were very clean and relaxing. The receptionist was kind and very nice and you can see she's a multi-tasker. I explained to Dr.Miller I was referred by Dr Gerdis and told him my situation and he was very thorough and detailed. I saw the Respiratory Therapist who was very sweet and patient with me as well. Very disappointing experience with a Dr seeing his patients as if through a conveyor belt without much care or attention to what the customer wants. Do not recommend nor would ever use his services as he did injections without showing me a new syringe and a product. Unsurprisingly, the result is not visible and I have done the same procedure 4 times before with immediate results (and using half a syringe! this time one syringe did NOT make any difference for the same amount of wrinkles) Should have known after my first conversation with his receptionist who is aka 'aesthetician'' - rude, unwelcoming and unprofessional. I actually asked her when setting up my appointment if it's OK that I have a major dental procedures AFTER the face fillers injection and her reply was that it's not a problem at all... --- *** Update - after seeing my review, here is the email I get from this office - no further comment is necessary as to how professional they are: Dear Irina, You may recall that at least a 1/3 of your syringe was used to fill in your frown lines between your eyebrows, so of course, less Juvederm was available to fill your smile lines. Overall, a full correction requires two syringes in general for full correction. Your commentary on Groupon review site was quite mean spirited. I stand by my assistant's comment that dental procedures have nothing to do with the timing of receiving Juvederm injections. Does it make you feel powerful and perhaps better about yourself to slander others on social media sites? I can't help you with your miserable life. Unfortunately, Juvederm will never correct ugly, both inside and out. I wish I red the bad reviews before my visit. I was physically harassed in this office during my laser procedure with Maria. She put me in the room to apply a numbing cream on my face. Then she looked at my shoes, grabbed my foot and said "I love those shoes!" and then for some reason she touched my knees. Then without wiping my face or cleaning she applied a numbing cream on it. She moved me to another room and I was laying down. She putted googles on my eyes and she held a tube with flowing air. I told her that the air was too strong, that I couldn't breath. Then she faced the air to my groin area, holding there and saying: " this is just an air, do you feel it?" I asked why did she do that ? She didn't respond and started the laser. When she was doing my chin she said:" Well, you don't want me to burn your lips, right?" She didn't tell me to close my lips, how I supposed to know?! I was very scared that could do some damage to me. Anyway, I left distressed and I had a nerve break after. Stay away!!! read more

I went to Dr. Miller a year ago for Botox. It was my first time having a cosmetic injection. I am TERRIFIED of needles! Dr. Miller was amazingly patient with my flinching, squeeling at the very site of the needle, having to hold husband's hand. And, he didn't make me feel ashamed to be such a baby at 45. He injectef 40 units of Botox in my forehead and between eyes. The injections were so fast and pain free I simply couldn't believe it. Within a day my forehead actually lifted. My husband noticed first. He said "Wow. It looks like you had a forehead lift." I didn't experience any bruising, swelling or tenderness. Results lasted almost 6 months which was surprising as I have very strong, active facial muscles. At the time I couldn't continue with my treatment due to a move, however, I am now planning on going back. I refused to go to another Doctor while away. read more

I was a bit apprehensive due to some of the negative reviews I saw but I'm here to say that I had far from a negative experience. The woman at the front desk (unsure of her name) was extremely sweet and welcoming. This was my first time receiving lip fillers and Dr. Miller made me very comfortable. I went to him initially on a Groupon for Botox and returned as a regular customer (his regular prices are the same as Groupon). Office is very no-frills and he has no receptionist or secretary and answers the phone himself (not in the middle of a procedure but while you are sitting there)and he does the procedures right in his office not an exam room, so I can see how this can be off-putting, however the results were great and that is all I care about. I spent more than twice as much at a fancy plastic surgeon and the results were the same. He seems very knowledgeable and skilled and I feel better going to him as an MD than a dentist or aesthetician at a Med Spa. read more

I have never taken the time to write a negative review for anyone or anything, but there is a first time for everything. I am writing this to warn potential clients of what a terrible doctor Dr. Miller is. I purchased a groupon for Botox and Juvederm because of what appeared to be a good deal. When I went I had to remind him of my name about 3 times. When I explained to him what I was looking for he barely listened to me and just injected botox wherever he felt like. He injected me in his shabby 2'x4' office and would stop mid-treatment to answer the phone. He made me reuse an old ice pack on my face that he made me give back before I left. I went back to him a week later because my face looked worse than before (I have never needed to do this w others drs I have gone to). He was seemed extremely frustrated with me and when I asked if he thought adding more botox would help he said in an obnoxious tone "I'm not sure, I told you that already". Anyway, he reinjected certain areas and was extremely rough. Now it's been 10 days and my eyes still look droopy and tired. I went to a reputable dr (who costs more money, but does an amazing job) and she refused to put more botox to lift my lids bc she said dr miller "put too much in the wrong places and I have to wait until it dissolves". Please, please don't waste your money or time on Dr. Miller. At first I just thought he had no personality, but now I know he is just a terrible doctor.
