I am extremely disappointed with Laser Away and their consistently poor customer service. From the very beginning, I've encountered countless scheduling and system issues that have made it impossible to move forward with my treatment confidently. At my first appointment in September, I was told just two hours before my scheduled time that someone else had double-booked my slot and asked to come later. I explained I couldn't due to work, but was told to come in anyway. Then, just 15 minutes before my appointment, while I was already on my way, I got another call saying they couldn't accommodate me and I would need to reschedule. When I finally showed up for my first service, their computer system was down, and I had to wait around 20 minutes before the technician proceeded. After the session, the system was still down, and I was told someone would call me the next day to schedule my second appointment. I provided my name, but no one ever followed up. I had to take the initiative myself and reach out in January just to schedule my second appointment. For my second visit, I arrived for my scheduled appointment only to be told they had no record of my appointment, forcing me to reschedule again. The recurring system and scheduling issues make me not even want to go back to finish my treatment. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this place. read more

I've been going to Laser away for some time now, and I'm genuinely impressed every time I visit. The nurses are incredibly skilled, professional, and always make me feel comfortable throughout each session. They take the time to explain everything and check in to make sure I'm doing okay, which I really appreciate. The clinic itself is spotless and well-organized, with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Equipment looks modern and well-maintained, and I never have to wait long to be seen. Overall, I'm really happy with my experience here and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for effective laser hair removal in a clean, professional environment!! read more

I purchased the full-face Thermage FLX package, which included 900 pause for Face and Neck Featuring Eye Opener, but they only applied 602 pause!!! I had my Thermage FLX treatment today. When they finished treating the right side of my face, I saw the screen showing 262 pauses. After completing the left side, it showed 602 pauses. However, the staff verbally told me that 900 pauses had already been completed. The screen clearly showed 602, and then she immediately turned off the machine. Afterward, I contacted the salesperson who sold me the package to check with the nurse whether the correct number of shots had been applied, but the nurse still insisted that 900 shots were done. Furthermore, the salesperson did not offer any assistance in reattaching the tip I used to the machine and verify the final pause. The service was extremely poor. Before this, they all insisted that the treatment was performed according to the manufacturer's protocol, but what I observed was not the case. I paid for 900 pauses but did not receive a full 900-pause treatment. This makes me very unhappy, and I don't believe the results will meet expectations. It feels like I paid for a treatment that ended up being meaningless. Never spent any money here! They will always be dishonest! read more

What terrible customer service . I arrived at my scheduled appointment on time and was told that I was not to be treated because I was late. Their system changed the appointment time without informing me and then I had to bed and plead to be treated. The next time I arrived early and waited for a half an hour to be treated and they had no problem with me waiting and wasting my time. My technician repeatedly told me that she could no treat the side of my neck in multiple appointments. When I recently went to my second to last appointment, I had a different tech who gladly treated the area. When I rescheduled out to complain about not receiving the proper treatment, I was totally dismissed. I would never recommend this very unprofessional company. read more

I love this LaserAway location. I prefer this location for the wonderful staff and my favorite nurse, Ashley. I have an extensive package with Clear & Brilliant Facials and laser hair removal in the areas of underarms, chin, and lip. The team here is extremely knowledgable and willing to focus on your pre-care, post-care and care while you are in your office. If you are worried about their lasers being the proper lasers for melanin-rich skin, don't worry. They have the proper ones, and Ashley answered all my questions about what type of lasers they have. After two months of treatments, I am seeing results like: - Skin tone evening out and reduction of dark spots (Clear and Brilliant) - Lighter hairs and less ingrowth hairs (Underarms) - Reduction of facial hairs (Chin and Lip) If you have a chance, come to this location versus the city - you are more likely to get a spot! read more

I am soo happy to write this review. I just finished my 7th laser hair removal treatment at the Laser Away in Scarsdale and let me just say how happy I am to finally have a Laser Away in Westchester. I used to drive down, over an hour on some days, to Brooklyn for my treatments. I only have one treatment left to do on my schedule but I will surely continue my maintenance sessions at this location. Not only is it convenient but everyone there were soo sweet and made me feel very comfortable. I highly suggest anyone considering any of the treatments, Laser Away has to offer, to give it a try. They are professional, clean, and you get results! read more

LaserAway - Store Front of LaserAway (Scarsdale) - Tattoo Removal Near Me - Scarsdale, New York

Wonderfully friendly and helpful. I went for my first treatment on Saturday, September 24, and Dona helped to calm my nerves instantly. She was able to answer my many questions. She was very professional, and I felt well cared for. I went again the next day for another treatment, and in very vulnerable positions for me, Azemina maintained a comfortable, professional, medical atmosphere. I can't say I was instantly comfortable showing that much of my skin to a stranger within the first five minutes of meeting, but I relaxed considerably. She even had an ice pack readily available to relieve some extra sensitive areas, which was a life saver. I would happily be treated by either one of them next time I'm in, but I'm also pretty confident that they hire great clinicians all around. After my experiences with the clinicians who helped me through every step of the process, the front desk staff who were able to help me reschedule my time slots last minute with no penalties or attitude, and Marissa (my sales rep) who has been incredibly patient and helpful in finding which deal worked best for me and answering any other questions along the way-- every single person has just been outstanding. Offering me complimentary green tea upon arrival at the Scarsdale location was the cherry on top. read more

LaserAway - Follow up with Juvaderm touch up... - Tattoo Removal Near Me - Scarsdale, New York

This business is notorious for using bait and switch tactic towards their customers. Then when you request to speak to corporate, you have to deal with the store you have an issue with; which usually the store's remedy is to cancel your appointment without a refund, due to laseraway's "policy". There's no coincidence that there's only good reviews on yelp, but check BBB (Better Business Bureau) and Reddit for true reviews on how this business is conducted. For more information, look into there history of lawsuits. (This review is for any new customer who is thinking of doing business with LaserAway. They are untrustworthy, use bait and switch tactics, and will make you feel as though you've been gaslit). read more

I wish I could give this review a zero star. I NEVER write bad reviews on anything, but this had to be written unfortunately. I was going to the Scarsdale location for a few months when I had to switch all together. The customer service was absolutely horrid at this location. There were multiple appointments where I either had to wait 40 minutes (Which I have proof of) or when I come to my appointment, they told me they couldn't provide me full service because they were backed up and would have to reschedule me for half my service... There was one time they had me wait over 45 minutes and I was late to my other appointment I had scheduled for the day because of it. Then one of my appointments was so backed up that when I saw the nurse Alexa M. she rushed me less than 5 minutes to do my full body treatment. And for anyone who knows to get full body laser is going to take you a bare minimum 30 minutes. I complained a few times during that visit saying I didn't want her to rush because the treatment I have been getting hasn't been effective to which she shut me down. Then I mentioned it for a second time during the treatment and when she shut me down again, I started to cry, and she said out loud omg... When I called customer service to report the terrible service, I was told I should have asked for her to do a better job and it was my fault for leaving because once I leave my appointment there is nothing they can do. One of my treatments I was marked down for a full body when they only had time to do part of my body and charted it as full so I completely miss out on one of my sessions- which as a registered nurse to do this is COMPLETELY ILLEGAL. I will state that when I switched over to Stamford's location the service was night and day but it still doesn't take away from the terrible service I did get and the results I got due to it. Do yourself the favor and go to ANY other laser facility- you'll not only save money but you'll get better results. read more

I have been here at this location for 5 treatments out of 10 and I have great results. I get my chin and jawline laser and it's been amazing. I no longer have to shave or tweeze! I am really happy I have gone with this decision! The staff are always so welcoming and the nurses and very informative and gentle. I use to go to the upper west side location but I couldn't deal wit all the traffic. I decided to find another location and came across the Scarsdale site. I love the hospitality of the front desk people. They were very knowledgeable and polite. My nurse was Alexia and she was so sweet. Very gentle and informative about the treatment. I definitely will recommend this location. read more

I just had my first treatment at LaserAway in Scarsdale, for lower legs, Brazilian and underarms. So while I have to wait a bit until I can see results, I can say that my experience there was really positive. I have had laser hair removal previously at another spa, so I knew what to expect. However, the level of customer service and professionalism at LaserAway exceeded my expectations. They made me feel very comfortable and the laser was much more tolerable (due to the CoolTouch feature) than what I experienced before. The staff is highly trained and capable. I wish I had started going here years ago! read more

Had a great experience! I was very nervous, but Alexa and front-end staff were great. They made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.

This is my first experience with LA but not with laser hair removal. I had a great experience and can honestly say the pain is nowhere near what it was when I attempted laser hair removal with another company years ago. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. RN Alexa was extremely professional and friendly as well. She walked me through everything step by step & made me very comfortable. I highly recommend her and this location. read more

This is my second time around receiving laser hair removal and it was a way better experience. For my first appt, I had Alexa. She was very patient with me after telling her, I was afraid. She explained the process and was informative. My second appt was with Ashley. She too was also very patient. She listened to my concerns and continued when I was ready. Ashley also gave me free skin care samples and told me about the sales that were going on for the month. I would definitely recommend LaserAway to my friends. read more

LaserAway is a great place to get your hair removal services. It had a friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. Visited the newly opened Scarsdale location & had forehead & lip injections. the procedures were in a private patient room completed by an extremely professional RN. The entire process took about 45 minutes (included prep numbing time); numbing cream was applied to the lips so there was minimal discomfort; after care was explained, this is a clean medical office setting. the service was great & everything well explained. The results look phenomenal. Highly recommend this location. read more

On the day of their grand opening, I switched my services over to LaserAway in Scarsdale. They had a cute charcuterie board for their guests and their team there for support. Legend was nice to take the time to thoroughly explain the packages I needed for care, which are at a reasonable price, given the amazing service they give you. They are knowledgeable about their products and have impeccable customer service skills. Alexa, who did my Xeomin injections, is an absolute doll. She is so down to Earth and has steady hands, which is important because I am deathly afraid of needles. It has been about a week since I've had the injections and already see results. It's literally insane because I had ugly forehead lines and now they are nonexistent, even when I try to raise my eyebrows all the way! I will be requesting Alexa to do my services from now on. Nurse Practitioner Blossom was there to support as well. She is a sweetheart, and kept me company while I was waiting for my Xeomin treatment. I inquired about lip fillers and she taught me so much about them and how they can help me get the results I desire. I highly recommend their services! read more
