This place is no fun especially when you have to wait for a prescription to fill, it took half hour meanwhile your can't even sit nicely in the waiting are as it's flooded with homeless people hanging out and organizing their stuff

Always convenient anytime and anywhere you go. The deals are always great if you're a member.

This Walgreens is the perfect urban experience. More than you typically expect in size and selection. You can get so many things here including fresh produce and sushi!! Great place to get Colorado and Denver logo stuff. Lots of chochkis. There is always a crowd out front as it's right at the light rail stop. Early open and stays open late!

It's in walking distance (about a 7 minute stroll) from the Denver Sheridan and there are trolleys available that run along the street. For it being in a busy area with a lot of foot traffic it was decently organized. It's not the widest of stores but it stretches decently far back. There are travel size items, a souvenir aisle with mugs and shirts etc and then your usual pharmacy related items. I don't remember seeing a ton of items behind locked doors. There's a decent amount of end caps items and even a clearance section. When I came on a Tuesday afternoon around 4pm the cashiers were on the floor cleaning and restocking so it was all self check out. There were about 4 self check out stands.

Second floor has the grocery items and check out, some clothes, and lots of travel sized items. They know that since this is in a downtown city center, there's lots of out of towners who need to pick things up. Very useful. Second floor has make up, health items, some toys and board games, decorations, baby supplies, etc. Just imagine a shrunken Target with only the essentials. This is the stop you have here. Not bad for what it is. I couldn't find canned oxygen which was my intent but it was still neat to walk through and peruse.

The shelves are usually well stocked. The people who work here are reasonably friendly and helpful. Most of the customers are ok. The prices are what inflated prices are nowdays. The only issue is that the area has a lot of homeless and at least 1-2 will be at the store entrance every time you shop here. Most of them will not bother you nor will they usually go into the store. The security guard may ask them to leave. However, some of the homeless camped out at this store entrance may proposition you. Just ignore them and you should be ok.

He stole them instead and marked the order as delivered. The groceries never arrived, and to make matters worse, customer service handled the situation with absolutely no care. When I reached out for help, I was met with dismissive responses and zero accountability. I was told I'd receive a refund and a confirmation email--neither ever came. At this point, it feels like they're hoping I'll give up and go away. I will instead go through my bank for a refund and file a police report. Groceries are already expensive, and customers deserve better than this kind of careless, inconsiderate treatment. Between the unreliable drivers and the useless customer support, this service has completely lost my trust. You can spend your money elsewhere unless you enjoy paying for items that never show up.

Then, my first prescription refill was needed, and they told me there was a shortage (I was aware) and there was no date in sight to get it. Unhelpful. Sorted that out by going elsewhere. Thought I'd give them another chance with another prescription refill. This one needed a prior authorization. I requested it several weeks before I would run out to give time to navigate these hiccups. I was traveling internationally for a few weeks and came back with no communication. I texted them to check and they let me know the prescriptions were ready for pick up. I went to pick them up and the one prescription was still being charged as self-pay/out of pocket for $1k. When I asked, they said it still never got the prior auth. They also had my number incorrect, which would explain why they were not proactive at telling me what was available for pick or up not. Now I'm about to run out of my asthma medication and have no resolution in sight due to the lack of communication. Overall: communication was terrible, service not much better considering all the issues I was up against. Some of that is not their fault, but they didn't handle it very well either. I've transferred my prescriptions back to my last pharmacy.

It's a massive store and I get the same feeling that I get when going into the Newark train station. However their holiday aisle seems to be like 5x larger than their other stores which is fun - I guess to stock nostalgia brands. It also reminds me of going to the grocery store on Long Island, NY with my grandparents for some reason! It's just a hardcore VIBE that is like - of the PAST. It's very interesting. A man walked in with no shirt on and a hospital wristband, clearly not in a normal state. He wasn't stealing. He wasn't causing a scene. He was standing at self‑checkout with one pint of ice cream and a bag of chips, trying to pay for them. He was a little hard to understand when he spoke, but he wasn't aggressive or threatening anyone. Instead of offering help or even basic compassion, the manager immediately called the police. And within seconds, officers arrived, put him in handcuffs, and arrested him right there in front of everyone. I even offered to pay for his food, and the staff were rude to me for trying to help. When I asked why he was being arrested, the manager claimed he was "threatening them," which simply wasn't true. I was standing right there. He wasn't threatening anyone. He was confused, hungry, and clearly in some kind of crisis. This was a moment where a mental health crisis team should have been called -- not armed officers. Denver literally has the STAR program for situations exactly like this. Instead, this store chose punishment over compassion. What I saw was a vulnerable person being treated like a criminal because he didn't fit the mold of a "normal shopper." It was heartbreaking and completely unnecessary. No one deserves to be handcuffed for being hungry, confused, or recently discharged from a hospital. King Soopers needs to train their staff on how to handle mental health situations with empathy instead of fear. What happened today was wrong, and I hope this review brings some awareness to it.
