Less than a 1 experience every time. It is convenient to have a 7-Eleven in the building I live in for 31 years, but I walk 2 - 3 blocks to other 7-Elevens because the other franchisees and their cashiers don't treat you like just another stupid American and short change you when paying with cash. I recently had a regrettable encounter with a worker at the 7-Eleven on 44th and Harlan, and I must say it was an incredibly unpleasant experience. The employee was shockingly rude and displayed a complete lack of respect towards customers. Their disdainful attitude was evident in every interaction, leaving me bewildered and disappointed. It is disheartening to witness such unprofessional behavior in a place that is meant to provide convenience and service. Needless to say, I will be avoiding this particular 7-Eleven location in the future due to the abhorrent treatment received from this individual. I as well was greeted to a this particular employee who works the evenings who not disclose her name to no dogs allowed two times ( which is my service animal). I decided not to make a huge deal about my dog, being my service animal and decided to put my dog in my vehicle and continue on shopping.. I was sang, greeted by a nice employee with a basket, cause I had a lot of stuff in my hand. I didn't really actually need it myself I said, thank you to him, went and paid for my things while I was standing at the cash register the disgruntled employee that rang me up Was yelling at her coworker, telling him not to bring over a basket to a another customer who let stuff falling out of her arms onto the ground. I was astonished by her, telling her coworker not to help out a customer who obviously needed a basket or help. then said I was going to help her and how it wasn't very nice that she wasn't letting her coworker go and help her while she was dropping things everywhere. She told me to leave the store that I've already paid and I said I am going to help this lady who obviously needs it stuff off the ground and then she told me to leave her store immediately. needless to say in conclusion if you're going to work in customer service, maybe people should look up the definition of customer service before applying for jobs that you have to interact with people. If you're having a bad day, you must try to leave that at the door when you walk into your job and not take it out on other people that in no way deserve that treatment. read more

Well, they didn't have any club soda so that is a negative. There were some weird steps up to the drink coolers which I found just weird. There was a wide array of snacks but overall this is a pretty depressing place. They do have hot food but it did not look appealing...it may have been there since the Eisenhower administration, who knows? Service was brusque and slow. I felt bad for the guy who bought a $20 scratch off but walked away empty handed. Prices for my Perrier (the only bubbly water they had) and my Flaming Cheetos (a pairing you don't see very much) were reasonable. This is convenient if you need a quick snack or drink but I wouldn't make it a destination. read more

I'm not sure it's open 24/7 like Google Business hours state at the moment. "New Hours as of 3/9/2020... 5 AM - 12 AM, 7 days a week" according to posted signs at the entrances (but the date might be... dated??? Or perhaps they upheld it since March 2020; I've never had to use it at late hours). Amazon lockers are good, the place is relatively well-stocked based on my handful of visits. That being said, more often than not I find myself stepping over emptied wholesale boxes in the aisles. Welp, I suppose that's how they stay well-stocked in such a small storefront! Sadly, it gives the vibe that the staff don't have enough time to break the boxes down and get them out from underfoot before having to man the register or something. That being said, the staff are nice, friendly, and easily engage in niceties. However, as I've seen other reviewers note elsewhere, it's the customers that give off sketchy vibes. For example, they can take absolutely forever to choose cigarettes behind the counter, pay by cash slowly, ask questions and make small talk slowly, and I've seen these sort have the line build up several people deep this way, one after the other. The customers are primarily male. In fact, the only other two women I've ever seen in there are two workers - once, a cashier and the other time a restocker. That's not the store's fault, but it's a pattern you can't ignore either. Altogether and overall, it's convenient if you live nearby. read more

7-Eleven is about convenience. This location fits the bill. There are plenty of upscale bars and eateries around, but you'll pay upscale prices. This 7-Eleven meets expectations. It's easy to access. There are plenty of snack and beverage options. If you want something hot there's taquitos and pizza. Yes, the beverage aisle is elevated, but who cares? They have water, soda, Gatorade, and beer (Pabst Blue Ribbon anyone?). This isn't Trader Joe's. It's 7-Eleven. For what it is, it does just fine. I don't always drink Slurpees in Lodo. But when I do, I prefer store #22358. This 7-Eleven is a real, bonafide 'bit city' convenience store. None of those special touches you get at a Littleton store: this is the real, 'don't mop the floors in January' deal, folks. Its location, 14th and Arapahoe, is its greatest benefit AND its biggest detriment. Having a fully-functional 7-Eleven within a minute's walking distance of Cheba Hut, Bovine Theater, Biker Jim's cart and the theater on 16th Street Mall? Awesome. Getting hassled* for change every time you go here? Just part of the experience. If Dog Day Afternoon-era Pacino moved to downtown Denver, this is where he would buy his coffee and load his .38. It is grimy, it is urban, and it is the REAL deal, Denver. Or as real as we get, anyway. *as in, 'getting called racial slurs and being physically threatened by an intoxicated loiterer'-hassled A big redeeming quality of this store is its staff. They're friendliness is second only to their efficiency. For a store that one would expect to have to 'shoo' off panhandlers on a daily basis, this came as a surprise to me, but the clerks have always been on their A-game whenever I've stopped in. Really nice to know that just because they're in a busier part of the city, the service hasn't suffered as a result. Again, even a Big Gulp junkie like me has his limits. There have been a few memorable encounters outside this store that have given me reason to avoid it. But you just can't keep a good Kwik-E-Mart down, ya'll. In spite of all its relative drawbacks, this is a store I still go out of my way to visit a few times a year, and I'm never disappointed once I make it inside the doors. A true Slurpee oasis in our own downtown urban sprawl? You better thank heaven. read more

What I like about this store is that it's close to school so when I need a snack it's a hop, skip and a jump away. The place is well kept and clean which is always good for a business downtown. Also, I do find the employees to be attentive and polite. What I don't like is the small selection of items compared to other 7-11 stores. Ok sure, it's a small location in the middle of a city but there's hardly any variety beyond your basic chips and sodas. Sometimes they are out of the item I need the most - Arizona Green Tea :-( The other hard part about this store is that it's hard to find unless you know where to look. Wedged between a garage and a restaurant on Arapahoe it's difficult to see the store if you aren't looking. I walked right past it and had to circle around. A bigger sign would be nice and I'll try to remember to take an accurate picture (the one on Yelp is NOT the same store). Of course, I'll keep coming back when I get the munchies but I really wish the selection would be bigger with more variety. This one has a awesome selection of Donuts and Muffins, the Hot chocolate is delicious. Not Starbucks quality but its good for Convenience store Hot Cocoa. The 7-11 inside the Brooks Towers building is a unique, multilevel store that provides a respite from the homogeneity of the rest of this chain. What they sell is no different than other stores, but the footprint here is special. I like the layout, I like the ease at which I'm able to take in the offerings and get back on my way with whatever convenience it was that I must have needed. In this last case it was a cookies-n-cream PowerBar and a water. Walking distance from the DCPA, the Auraria campus and Larimer Square make this store a popular favorite. read more

False advertising. Purchased some napkins listed at $1.50 and they charged me $1.99. I know it's just $0.50 but when I brought it to the clerk's attention (who could barely speak english) he stated nothing he could do about it. I showed him the advertised price and he agreed he was overcharging me but nothing he could do. I asked another employee who spoke a little better english and he too stated nothing he could do. I bought them anyhow but who knows what else they are doing for false advertising. Really lame they stated they couldn't fix it and I don't believe them either. read more
