I had a prescription approved by insurance and when I went to pick it up, they said it was missing information and I needed to contact my doctor. I has the doctor resubmit the prescription to find out they have a micro prescription policy so they RETURNED my prescription to their warehouse and not able to fill the prescription until the following week. Couldn't even provide an ETA. What a crappy service they give... moving all my prescriptions to another pharmacy... don't get fooled by this unprofessional location!!! read more

And they will tell you they need 20 minutes to fill a prescription that was sent in 4 days ago and then you'll come back 4 hours later and they will tell you they need another 20 to fill it. Honestly, the most incompetent people I've ever met in my life. I can't believe that they are in charge of peoples prescription drugs. Absolutely awful. I have been waiting for my prescription for 4 days. I finally got a text that it was ready. The drive thru was closed when I showed up. So I went inside and proceeded to wait 2 HOURS. The line was long but not that long. They just took forever. When I got to the counter I was informed they had made a mistake and it wasn't ready. When I asked what was taking so long the lady screamed at me and told me to call another Walgreens if I need my prescription sooner than "the next few days". The latest and recent trip to this Walgreens was just A-OK. This is the ONLY Walgreens in this Neighborhood that sell what we need. That recent visit was on July 6th 2013. Time was about 11:30hrs. Unfortunately, that day they do not have the Deals we are looking for. *Sad Face* Hubs wanted some candy and we purchased those (S) Nice! aka Walgreens Brand. The pharmacy is so miss managed where they set prescriptions to in progress and I had to call in 30 hours later to find out why it hasn't been filled. After waiting on hold for 17 minutes and getting hung up on without talking to anyone I had to call in a second time and after 13 minutes all they did was apologize and promise it would be taken care of in 15 minutes. Well that didn't happen either. They need new management and to clean house of all the inept dredges they call tech. read more

This is the only Walgreens in GVR, so I would usually cut it in some slack. However, seeing as nothing has changed the past FOUR YEARS, I think I need to make a review (something I don't do often.) I had placed an order for curbside pick up hours ago, and when I arrived, I eventually had to go in because everyone was "too busy". When I went in to ask about my order, they had no clue what I was even talking about; it took another 30 for them to figure out why I was there , even though they sent out a confirmation email saying my order was ready. Lastly, most of the things in my order were missing. When I called them, they said there was nothing they could do. (Maybe a refund or allow me to get my products???). The first few visit I chalked it up to being short staffed, but following several visits of waiting over 30 minutes (after being told my prescription was ready) it's clear they are unorganized and need a system overhaul. Issues every time. - Pharmacy closes without notice while prescriptions are still sent by doctors who are unaware...last time, I sat in the drive thru for 50 minutes with screaming foster children with pink eye only for the drive thru to close one car ahead no notice with just a sign in the window - and had to bring them inside to start over and stand in the back of the line for another 45 minutes screaming their eyes out...never again. - Photo is hit or miss. I have had them cancel twice now after the order "processed" online. This time I requested 3 adoption announcement posters for an adoption party. Got an email the next day (an hour after they were supposed to be ready) that the store cancelled the order. Clearly no one processed them until they were due. And instead of the trainee watching her for the first time and taking notes so she's courtesy of the time she has a wait line. Instead she is sucking on the sucker and giving her instructions. It's SO obvious they could double the pharmacy staff and still not have enough people. But the budget in this Walgreens is cut to bare bones. What a joke. Tried to use online pickup services and even though the payment was supposed to be processed online when I got there, I had to go in because the payment wasn't processed and then their system wouldn't process any payments on the order no matter how many different payments we tried so I had to cancel my order. I think it's because they cancelled items on my order and then no longer wanted me to be able to use my promo code bc the order didn't meet the requirements. It's not my fault the order didn't meet the requirements when you are the ones who cancelled the items off my order. read more

i've been coming to this walgreens for a year now and I can honestly say that this location is in dire need of corporate attention. one staff member is well trained but everyone is working soooo slowly. no organization. the line's literally go around the corner and down the aisle. one car has been sitting in the drive thru window for over 20 minutes. this is the closest walgreens in the area sadly. will definitely be switching to another pharmacy after this. and not to bash the pharmacy the rest of the store is also a disaster. they take so long to check people out and only have one register open at all times of the day. this is the most disorganized walgreens i've ever been to in my life. I just don't get it. if you're in a pinch for time simply go elsewhere. it's for sure worth the drive to get YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

I'm in a hotel room right now, stranded for more than a day by airline troubles. No vehicle available, sick kid, and out of cough syrup (because our luggage flew home without us). Went through the Walgreens app and ordered cough syrup and a couple other items. Apparently Walgreens does their deliveries through Door Dash, and the driver marked the particular cough syrup as out of stock without seeing that I put down to do a substitution if needed, so I got an email that we wouldn't be getting the most important thing in the order. I was on the phone with a Walgreens lead to get it added into the order before the driver picked up the rest, when a manager, unaware of the situation, gave the driver the order. As soon as she realized what happened, the manager immediately got on the phone, apologized sincerely for the confusion, and when I explained I had no way to come pick up the cough syrup, she immediately asked the lead if he could deliver it here, or if she should. He arrived within ten minutes at the exact same time as the Door Dash person. The Walgreens lead wouldn't take the tip I really, really tried to give him for going so above and beyond for us. Especially after the last 32 stressful hours, this truly makes me feel a little more hopeful for humanity. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more

Caution, there are always a lot of jerks that drive in this area. The entrance to the store makes it fun maneuvering my Tundra in to the area. It does get hectic during rush hour. In addition to that, people and the store has been robbed several times, take caution . The elderly lady that works at the front is very friendly and courteous. This seems to be a smaller Walgreens, or I'm just angry at the fact that they're always out of the candy I usually want. read more
