I had a hair emergency and stopped by since this store is close by. Not only did I find what I needed but also a few other items. This time of year they are stocked with Halloween items and this week they've started to add Christmas items. I found some stocking stuffers for sure. Heck, they even had Harry Potter wands and a hand mirror, a cute Chihuahua that when pressed did La Bamba. Cheesy but kinda cool. If all days I didn't take my cellphone inside! Will add a image if that next time. This store stocks what you need in a pinch, cold drinks, frozen lunch/dinners, snacks, cosmetics ,photo services and even fragrances. This is my go to stop in emergencies and when I need a cold bottle of water on my way to work. read more

Standing for now 20 min for help at the photo counter and there are THREE employees standing directly behind myself. They might not be able to help myself but at least a " ill get someone to help you " would have been nice. read more

Walgreens - Drugstores Near Me - Denver, Colorado

If there is ever a contest to crown the worst pharmacy in America, I'm definitely going to recommend this Walgreens. I've been trying to get a prescription filled for two weeks and every time I call, there's a different excuse. I don't even know what to say. read more

Worst Pharmacy, and the pharmacist is a lying imbecile. Prescription was called in at noon. At 7 the prescription wasn't ready and the pharmacist had the excuse that the insurance needs to pre approve it first (which is a lie). This was the only reason that it wasn't ready. As soon as I offered to pay cash, the story change to that it couldn't be filled because she would need to verify that it hadn't been filled in 7 days (another lie). She finally admitted that they were only open for 15 more minutes and she had to fill 100 prescriptions leftover from Monday. It is Wednesday evening. I don't understand how corporate Walgreens doesn't step in. It's a disgrace to the brand. Just close the door if you can't service people. Some other pharmacy will fill that spot. read more

Waited 20 minutes in line at the FedEx counter because there was only one salesperson to work both the main cash register and the other counter for photos/mail drop off. More than 8 people in line at main register and 9 people at photo counter. This is the worst customer service I have experienced for the most popular Walgreens in Green Valley Ranch. I would steer clear if you need help with anything or want a swift check out. read more

In town and needed an emergency script. Took an hour for the doctor to get through to order the script. Do pharmacist think their time is more important than a doctor's?! I then called to arrange delivery at 12:30, long before their break. It took at least 20 minutes before someone picked up and immediately placed the call on hold. This happened at least 4 times. Needless to say, I never reached anyone after27 minutes on hold, and now I have to wait at least another hour before I'm probably put on hold again forever after they take lunch. This means their lunch break is at least a 1/2 hr more than it's supposed to be. Don't play with patient's health! If you are understaffed, pay employees and hire and train good people who want a job. I will blame Walgreens if they cause my health to suffer bc they have gross disregard for patient health. read more

Wow saw a smiling face and offered a hello. Must be new. Oh well a improvement. Gave her encouragement. One more star for effort

They have you waiting for a whole hour then the answer you only to hang up acting like they can't hear you, knowing you need your medication worst pharmacy ever do not recommend at all it's always a hassle just to talk to someone read more

Horrible pharmacy service. Had me waiting on the phone for one hour after only "one call ahead of Me" if it wasn't cause I really needed to be on the line I would have hung up. read more

Don't have painkillers filled at this pharmacy. Rx was for 28 oxy and we received 21. Someone is stealing to feed their habit or selling them. Attempts to reach store manager or pharmacy were unsuccessful. Both of us were hung up on. I'm hoping my son won't need all 28 that were prescribed. read more

They had me on the phone for 40 Mins and never answered . When I show up in person they were so rude and slow . Please avoid this place at all cost . The person that attended me was Cinthia read more

Ordered some 4x6 photos from the photo printing part of Walgreens on a Tuesday. Went in to see if they were ready on Friday afternoon (email said expect them to print Friday morning). Staff was not kind and unprofessional, purposely ignoring the line at the photo printing station. Finally got to the photo register just to hear they were out of 4x6 printing paper and have no clue when to expect it. Told me to go to another Walgreens and canceled my order. This is not the first time I've had issues at this location. Will try to avoid it in the future and not waste my time. It's too bad since this is the only Walgreens that serves this particular part of town. read more

The absolute worst Walgreens pharmacy ever. They are always closing during business hours for whatever reason and the drive through pharmacy always takes over 30 minutes to get your medication. So unprofessional. They don't carry the amount of medication needed. Had to get my prescription switched to a different location a few times. Completely horrible read more

worst pharmacy ever. dropped off prescription, was told I would receive a text in 2 hrs when it's ready, never received the text, ended up taking 22 hrs to fill the prescription. went to pick it up and they said my insurance card doesn't have the information they want. I only have one insurance card and it has all the information they need. never coming to this location again. read more

The worse pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. The lines inside and outside (when the drive thru is not broken) are at least 30 mins on a good day, the staff is rude and full of excuses, that includes management and the pharmacist. If you need to call for any reason, expect to be on hold for 10-15 minutes per call and that's before they hang up on you without even speaking with you, it is apparently how the handle most calls. If you have a choice, AVOID!!!! read more

Walgreens - This was just the last 2 calls today. - Drugstores Near Me - Denver, Colorado

would give negative stars if possible. worst pharmacy EVER!!!! they NEVER answer the phone making it impossible to ever speak to someone in the pharmacy. avoid this store at all costs!!! read more

What is the point of calling in a prescription, the recording saying a date/time it will be ready and when you show up 3 hours after that time, the pharmacy tech looking it up to fill it? Yes I'm at the right Walgreens. Yes I called it in in advance. The miscommunication between staff and how to get things done in a timely manner is beyond me. These errors at my office would not fly. I guess when you are in the business of pharm, you can waste any amount of someone time because hey "they wait or go elsewhere". I'm going elsewhere from now on. I've come to Walgreens for years and today I'm finally done. read more

Worst pharmacy ever ! Tonight the line went as far back as the isle is . Over 20 people in line and the techs took 20 mins for each person. Why does it have to take that long ? You give your name and pay for your script . 40 mins later it's my turn and they told me to come back tomorrow , and that's what they told me yesterday. I'm not coming back for a third day for my script to maybe be ready. I don't understand why this location is so awful. I am going somewhere else from now on. This pharmacy is the worst I have ever ever gone to. Oh and the drive thru is always closed for takes 30 + mins . I don't see the reason for this mess. read more

Most unprofessional staff I could ever imagine. Having sent an order in the morning, getting notified mid afternoon, and showing up before closing - to be told they didn't and won't fill the meds that are supposedly ready. Meds that I need to sleep. I have not slept for two days up until this point and explained this. I finally was able to fill and pay for my meds after I demanded to speak to a manager, which I never got the opportunity. I had no idea it was this challenging to not only do your job, but be a civil human being while doing so. This younger , heavyset, African American woman behind the counter was beyond sassy and strictly unprofessional. When asked why I can't get the meds that she had she simply shook her head. "Why are you so upset with me"? She asked. If you had listened to anything me or my partner have said you wouldn't dare ask such a stupid question. DO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS TERRIBLE SERVICE Same time, money, and energy - go to Costco ! read more

Trust the other reviews I don't need to add anything additional just under staffed all the time it's a line at the pharmacy I called yesterday they said it would take them a hour to get my prescription together so I had to go work and just came the following morning and they tell me I have another hour to wait so wait what happened yesterday where it should be bagged and waiting for me to pick it up? This is always the case they either out or it's a long wait time they need to figure something out fast instead of always apologizing for the wait time like I just waited 30 minutes in line just for you to tell me have a seat for a hour ain't no way. That's wild lol read more

Their pharmacy really needs to remove all current employees and start over fresh. The lines both inside and outside are crazy and slow; they're always late about refill prescriptions and trying to reach them by phone is almost pointless (15-45minute wait and you likely will just be disconnected. I'll be trying the King Soopers pharmacy across the street, TKS Pharmacy is nearby (on Argonne) and had always been great as well. I highly recommend those instead. read more

I don't have a problem with the staff they have always been descent to me, but it appears that Walgreens corporate just doesn't care much about customer service. I ordered my prescriptions and then changed it to delivery because I had to go out of town and would be back in a couple days...still waiting. The drive through is hit or miss weather it is open or not. Called to check on a prescription and after 2 hours on hold gave up. They need more staffing immediately! read more

It's the worst drugstore I've ever been to in 43 years and five different states. They NEVER have my wife's insurance correct. They always fight with her about the same prescription she's had filled multiple times. Then when you call their bullshit. They make up something like "since It's the wrong prescription number we can't fill it" despite filling her birth control last fricking Monday and the same script 4 effing weeks ago! So please don't waste your fucking time. You can't argue with stupid and that's all this pharmacy has. Each pharmacist dumber and more useless than the last. Talk to a pharmacist at king Soopers or Costco out here and they will GLADLY discuss how shitty this Walgreens is. read more

Even if you call ahead your prescription still won't be ready. I don't understand how Walgreens pharmacies aren't under more regulation or quality control. I know there are issues with keeping staff but it's corporate's fault for failing to pay their employees enough to keep them and only having one pharmacy person during the day. America is literally falling apart because of corporate greed. It's ridiculous to wait so long to pick up a prescription. There are literally hundreds of complaints about this pharmacy. read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would. Staff is rude, unresponsive, and unhelpful. Worst pharmacy I've ever used.

This Walgreens pharmacy is ridiculously slow and it doesn't matter if you have schedule time, they won't honor it. I had my appt at 2:30 and had to wait almost 1 hour to FINALLY get my vaccine . If they are THIS slow, stop taking reservations !! Why make us wait if you are going to ask us to make reservations and not honor it ? This HIGHLY would not recommend this location . read more

Don't go here for your vaccines. I waited 45 minutes just to get checked in. Then waited another 45 minutes to get the vaccine. No apologies or explanations for the delay. Not sure what the reason for making an appointment was since it didn't seem to matter to the pharmacist that kept filling prescriptions while the line of people waiting just grew and grew, if it were possible to give zero stars I would have. The prescription pick up line was no better by the way. This pharmacy is either severely understaffed or grossly inefficient either way I won't be returning. read more

they are 1 star for a reason. they seem to shut down being able to reload prepaid cards early all the time. they tell you to take your business to 7-11! it's like they don't want to take care of their customers. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!! I've never had so many bad experiences at a Walgreens in my life. Had an action needed on one of my prescriptions 2 days after putting a request in for a refill. Call to see what's going on and wait on the phone for over 30min to then get hung up on. Called again waited another 40 min and then got put on hold for another 15 min. All for them to just tell me someone must've accidentally put action needed on my prescription. Then when trying to push it through they tell me they don't have any in stock and should be getting an order tomorrow. Well that was bs had to wait another 3 days so now 5 days from when I filled it and 2 days without my medication at all. Go to pick up my prescriptions, one of them being new. Had a question regarding the new prescription and got mad attitude, they acted like I'm wasting their time, extremely short and rude. Especially the Australian pharmacist he's the worst! The African American pharmacist is absolutely fantastic every single time. He was the reason I stayed so long. Some of the girls that work there are okay but the rest are terrible. Must be too many people to accommodate in the area. Even when most of the prescriptions are filled outside the pharmacy at the warehouse or something along those lines. Another Walgreens needs to be built in this area. Will never be returning here! Would rather drive 20 min to go somewhere else where I won't have to deal with any of this. read more

Something needs to change at this location. The pharmacy is always so backed up, lines down aisles. As well as shelves being out of stock of almost everything. It's every time I come for a prescription. I come to this one cause I work in the area but there is nothing convenient about it. No one should wait 30+ minutes for a prescription that's already been filled. read more

Take the extra time and drive to a different Walgreens. Came 4 days in a row to pick up a prescription. First day they said "give us an hour and a half or so to fill it" came back to pick it up and they said "the delivery for this won't be here until after 4." Came the next day, and they were on lunch break for 2 hours. Came back the next day and they said it would be 10-15 minutes to fill it. read more

I still use this Walgreens on occasion, only when forced too! 30 + in the drive thru with only 3 cars in front of me! Why not of someone is having an insurance issue or such so they not ask them to pull over or come in and take care of the next customers. Doesn't make any difference here inside or out. The pharmacy line takes inordinately long to pick up and pay for meds that are ready. read more

This is the absolute worst location I have ever been to. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Had issues with them in the past, brushed it off as being understaffed. Made a same day photo pickup order 3 days ago. Still haven't received even 1 notification about my order being in progress or ready. I called this location to ask about my order and the woman said she'd check (which is impossible to do without asking for an order number, name, or email address). I was left on hold for 10 minutes and after that I just gave up. read more

pharmacy sucks. I've gone here two times and I've had to wait over 30 minutes every time, they have had something wrong with my prescription each time. They tried to sell me the namebrand medication however I have always received the generic. Due to this they had to refill my prescription yet again. I left because I cannot wait 30 minutes on two separate days. I will be switching to King Soopers pharmacy. Pharmacist assistance were not helpful at all, one told me and then 30 minutes later I was still there. I'm trying to tell them that I was going to come back tomorrow and they barely regard of me, when I finally got one presentation was so confused as if it was unheard of to not be able to wait. Rant over. read more

Terrible waited on hold for 1.5 hours for pharmacist. Called main phone and got transferred back to same queue.

This store is not opened till the time it says it should be they said they would call me back when my medication is ready and they never did! I came to the store because they weren't answering the phone and apparently they had closed at 6 pm or so this is so inconvenient because I needed my insulin's!!!! This is so unprofessional and dangerous to peoples health who really need there medications. 0 stars for this pharmacy!!!!!!!! read more

I'm really confused as to why the passport camera is broke they ordered a new one but don't know when it will be in. Why is the company ordering products that are non trackable. It has been a month and still no camera. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm going somewhere else to get my passport photo because Walgreens is playing games. read more

Take the extra time and drive to a different Walgreens. Recently moved to this area and waiting for stores to be built closer to my home. I went to this Walgreens location to pick up a prescription. The pharmacy drive-thru window speaker is not working so you are forced to go into the store. The drive-thru speaker has not been working for awhile. The store is not clean, floors were very filthy and the shelves were not stocked. There are hand written notes stating that the location is short staffed and that you may experience longer wait times. Will not be coming back to this location. read more

Absolutely horrible location. My medication was delayed for three days. I received the ready to pick up text at 7:45 while the pharmacy closes at 8, so the rational thing to do is pick it up the next day. Of course when I go they left up a "system down please come back in a hour" sign. Ok no big deal I'll swing by on my way home when I'm done running errands. Not to my surprise the sign was still up when i came back. Never have I had a good experience at this location in the 10 years living in GVR. You're better off at the kings soopers across the street or walmart down the road. read more
