Worst Pharmacy, and the pharmacist is a lying imbecile. Prescription was called in at noon. At 7 the prescription wasn't ready and the pharmacist had the excuse that the insurance needs to pre approve it first (which is a lie). This was the only reason that it wasn't ready. As soon as I offered to pay cash, the story change to that it couldn't be filled because she would need to verify that it hadn't been filled in 7 days (another lie). She finally admitted that they were only open for 15 more minutes and she had to fill 100 prescriptions leftover from Monday. It is Wednesday evening. I don't understand how corporate Walgreens doesn't step in. It's a disgrace to the brand. Just close the door if you can't service people. Some other pharmacy will fill that spot. read more

Waited 20 minutes in line at the FedEx counter because there was only one salesperson to work both the main cash register and the other counter for photos/mail drop off. More than 8 people in line at main register and 9 people at photo counter. This is the worst customer service I have experienced for the most popular Walgreens in Green Valley Ranch. In town and needed an emergency script. Took an hour for the doctor to get through to order the script. Do pharmacist think their time is more important than a doctor's?! I then called to arrange delivery at 12:30, long before their break. It took at least 20 minutes before someone picked up and immediately placed the call on hold. This happened at least 4 times. Needless to say, I never reached anyone after27 minutes on hold, and now I have to wait at least another hour before I'm probably put on hold again forever after they take lunch. This means their lunch break is at least a 1/2 hr more than it's supposed to be. Don't play with patient's health! If you are understaffed, pay employees and hire and train good people who want a job. I will blame Walgreens if they cause my health to suffer bc they have gross disregard for patient health. read more

Don't have painkillers filled at this pharmacy. Rx was for 28 oxy and we received 21. Someone is stealing to feed their habit or selling them. Worst pharmacy ever ! Tonight the line went as far back as the isle is . Over 20 people in line and the techs took 20 mins for each person. Why does it have to take that long ? You give your name and pay for your script . 40 mins later it's my turn and they told me to come back tomorrow , and that's what they told me yesterday. I'm not coming back for a third day for my script to maybe be ready. I don't understand why this location is so awful. I am going somewhere else from now on. The worse pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. The lines inside and outside (when the drive thru is not broken) are at least 30 mins on a good day, the staff is rude and full of excuses, that includes management and the pharmacist. If you need to call for any reason, expect to be on hold for 10-15 minutes per call and that's before they hang up on you without even speaking with you, it is apparently how the handle most calls. Ordered some 4x6 photos from the photo printing part of Walgreens on a Tuesday. Went in to see if they were ready on Friday afternoon (email said expect them to print Friday morning). Staff was not kind and unprofessional, purposely ignoring the line at the photo printing station. Finally got to the photo register just to hear they were out of 4x6 printing paper and have no clue when to expect it. Told me to go to another Walgreens and canceled my order. This is not the first time I've had issues at this location. Will try to avoid it in the future and not waste my time. It's too bad since this is the only Walgreens that serves this particular part of town. read more

What is the point of calling in a prescription, the recording saying a date/time it will be ready and when you show up 3 hours after that time, the pharmacy tech looking it up to fill it? Most unprofessional staff I could ever imagine. Having sent an order in the morning, getting notified mid afternoon, and showing up before closing - to be told they didn't and won't fill the meds that are supposedly ready. Meds that I need to sleep. I have not slept for two days up until this point and explained this. I finally was able to fill and pay for my meds after I demanded to speak to a manager, which I never got the opportunity. I had no idea it was this challenging to not only do your job, but be a civil human being while doing so. This younger , heavyset, African American woman behind the counter was beyond sassy and strictly unprofessional. When asked why I can't get the meds that she had she simply shook her head. "Why are you so upset with me"? She asked. If you had listened to anything me or my partner have said you wouldn't dare ask such a stupid question. Trust the other reviews I don't need to add anything additional just under staffed all the time it's a line at the pharmacy I called yesterday they said it would take them a hour to get my prescription together so I had to go work and just came the following morning and they tell me I have another hour to wait so wait what happened yesterday where it should be bagged and waiting for me to pick it up? I don't have a problem with the staff they have always been descent to me, but it appears that Walgreens corporate just doesn't care much about customer service. I ordered my prescriptions and then changed it to delivery because I had to go out of town and would be back in a couple days...still waiting. Their pharmacy really needs to remove all current employees and start over fresh. The lines both inside and outside are crazy and slow; they're always late about refill prescriptions and trying to reach them by phone is almost pointless (15-45minute wait and you likely will just be disconnected. I'll be trying the King Soopers pharmacy across the street, TKS Pharmacy is nearby (on Argonne) and had always been great as well. I highly recommend those instead. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!! I've never had so many bad experiences at a Walgreens in my life. Had an action needed on one of my prescriptions 2 days after putting a request in for a refill. Call to see what's going on and wait on the phone for over 30min to then get hung up on. Called again waited another 40 min and then got put on hold for another 15 min. All for them to just tell me someone must've accidentally put action needed on my prescription. Then when trying to push it through they tell me they don't have any in stock and should be getting an order tomorrow. Well that was bs had to wait another 3 days so now 5 days from when I filled it and 2 days without my medication at all. Go to pick up my prescriptions, one of them being new. Had a question regarding the new prescription and got mad attitude, they acted like I'm wasting their time, extremely short and rude. Especially the Australian pharmacist he's the worst! The African American pharmacist is absolutely fantastic every single time. He was the reason I stayed so long. Some of the girls that work there are okay but the rest are terrible. Must be too many people to accommodate in the area. Even when most of the prescriptions are filled outside the pharmacy at the warehouse or something along those lines. Another Walgreens needs to be built in this area. Will never be returning here! Would rather drive 20 min to go somewhere else where I won't have to deal with any of this. read more

It's the worst drugstore I've ever been to in 43 years and five different states. They NEVER have my wife's insurance correct. They always fight with her about the same prescription she's had filled multiple times. Then when you call their bullshit. They make up something like "since It's the wrong prescription number we can't fill it" despite filling her birth control last fricking Monday and the same script 4 effing weeks ago! First day they said "give us an hour and a half or so to fill it" came back to pick it up and they said "the delivery for this won't be here until after 4." Take the extra time and drive to a different Walgreens. Recently moved to this area and waiting for stores to be built closer to my home. I went to this Walgreens location to pick up a prescription. The pharmacy drive-thru window speaker is not working so you are forced to go into the store. The drive-thru speaker has not been working for awhile. The store is not clean, floors were very filthy and the shelves were not stocked. There are hand written notes stating that the location is short staffed and that you may experience longer wait times. Will not be coming back to this location. read more

They tried to sell me the namebrand medication however I have always received the generic. Due to this they had to refill my prescription yet again. I left because I cannot wait 30 minutes on two separate days. I will be switching to King Soopers pharmacy. Pharmacist assistance were not helpful at all, one told me and then 30 minutes later I was still there. Absolutely horrible location. My medication was delayed for three days. I received the ready to pick up text at 7:45 while the pharmacy closes at 8, so the rational thing to do is pick it up the next day. Of course when I go they left up a "system down please come back in a hour" sign. Ok no big deal I'll swing by on my way home when I'm done running errands. Not to my surprise the sign was still up when i came back. Never have I had a good experience at this location in the 10 years living in GVR. So frustrated with this location. Stayed on hold with this location over 45 minutes manyyyyyyy many times. Have never been able to just have a prescription sent here, filled, and dispersed to me in a reasonable amount of time. I have run out of medication two months in a row now (after submitting refills giving them plenty of days or WEEKS to fill it before I need it) because they do not answer the phone or they answer, put you on hold, and hang up. Also, give yourself at least an hour just to come pick up a prescription that is "ready" because you will wait that long in store or in the drive thru. I had a prescription approved by insurance and when I went to pick it up, they said it was missing information and I needed to contact my doctor. I has the doctor resubmit the prescription to find out they have a micro prescription policy so they RETURNED my prescription to their warehouse and not able to fill the prescription until the following week. Couldn't even provide an ETA. What a crappy service they give... moving all my prescriptions to another pharmacy... don't get fooled by this unprofessional location!!! read more

And they will tell you they need 20 minutes to fill a prescription that was sent in 4 days ago and then you'll come back 4 hours later and they will tell you they need another 20 to fill it.
