If I had the option to give them no stars, I certainly would! On June 4th at 5:04 PM, my nine-year-old son and my fifteen-year-old daughter visited Walgreens to purchase some snacks, as they frequently do. That day, my son was particularly thrilled because he had earned some money and chose to buy a V-Bucks gift card. He was so excited. I returned home at 6:00 PM, and he showed me the gift card. However, when I attempted to redeem it, it did not work. I tried various methods, but nothing was successful. Consequently, I contacted Epic, and they informed me that I needed to return to Walgreens because the card had not been activated correctly. I inquired if my son had received two receipts, to which he replied no, and his older sister confirmed this as well. Therefore, I went back to Walgreens at 6:15 PM on the same day and spoke with the gentleman at the register who had sold the card to my son. He mentioned that he had just taken out the trash and suggested I could look through it. I was taken aback and asked, "Why would I want to rummage through your trash? May I please speak to the manager?" He then went to go get a woman who appeared to already be displeased with her job. I explained the situation to her, and she immediately responded with an attitude before me getting out the whole issue. I raised my voice slightly and said, "What am I supposed to do? You essentially took $10 from my nine-year-old!" She replied with an attitude, "There is nothing I can do; you need to contact the number on the back of the card." I pointed out that there was no number on the back. An older gentleman behind me mentioned that he had experienced a similar issue before, and someone had managed to resolve it. However, that "Karen" was not willing to assist me in rectifying THEIR error! I asked her if she could attempt to reactivate the card, as I was currently chatting with Epic, who stated that all that was needed was for it to be activated for it to work. Once again, she raises her voice at me and snatches the scanner, exclaiming, "See!" At this point, I elevate my voice once more, overpowering her. She then says to me, "You need to calm down or I will call the police!" I responded with a laugh, saying, "For what? I am literally just conversing with you." She says, "We do not tolerate this behavior!" I inquired, "What, me talking?" It is important to note that I did not insult her, or call her out of her name, nor did I throw anything! I simply spoke to her. Her statement revealed everything I needed to know about this person. She threatened me because of the COLOR of my SKIN! Why else? What else could it have been? Consequently, I contacted the Complaint Hotline and Corporate regarding this matter and am currently awaiting a response on the issue. The manager was expected to reach out to us within two days. On 6/10/25, we received a phone call, during which he failed to apologize for the situation. Instead, his initial remark was, "Hi there, did you manage to resolve your gift card issue!" There was no acknowledgment such as, "I sincerely apologize for what transpired on 6/4/25, and I have investigated the matter." Absolutely none of that. He accused my 9-year-old son of dishonesty, claiming he observed him with two receipts on the surveillance footage. We then again asked my 15-year-old daughter, and she confirmed that they both ONLY received one receipt. terrible customer service terrible attitudes i sat on the phone for almost 30 mins to find out about a prescription cause i figured it would be better than going all the way there and they picked up the phone multiple times to tell me to hold on longer im already holding why tf do u keep telling me to hold??? then finally picks up the phone and tells me my prescription will be done in 45mins-an hour showed up an hour and 15 mins after that was said and they are STILL NOT DONE??? read more

I've been here tons of times when I'm visiting family and I inevitably forget something (read: every single time). They're super convenient, located on the corner with entrances on both streets, connected to the Whataburger parking lot in the back if you want to come from there, and have a decent sized parking lot. I'm super lazy, so that convenience factor is extremely important in me actually doing something and this allows me to stop in multiple times because I know it will only be a few minutes. Therefore, this review is about the store and the staff, but not about the pharmacy since I haven't had to use it. However, I was on their website checking for vaccine availability for a family member last week and noticed this location has a lot more vaccines and boosters available than where I live. This Walgreens is a little larger than the typical size and has all the offerings you expect from the photo department (which I have yet to use in any location) to the Redbox out front. They are usually pretty well stocked, and that includes the last two years. While every place is affected by supply chain issues, I have seen less empty spots when I visit here than the two locations I visit often where I live. While that is normally on the weekend, that does include weekdays and spans both morning and evening visits. That's a bit of a miracle in a college town. The staff here is very polite and they try to be helpful, no complaints there. I usually don't see too many customers at the front, but on the rare occasion I've been in a line over 4 people long it has moved quickly. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. They put me on hold five times and hung up on me twice! Transferring my prescriptions.

I had a coupon for 6.00 off when I made a purchase of 20.00 or more. I called when I realized it wasn't taken off. Raven answer the phone and said it's not a coupon but if I keep coming in I'll eventually get the money. Total scam. I told Raven I wouldn't be back and she said ok have a great day. read more

The pharmacy here doesn't answer their phone. I recommend choosing a different one if you don't want your time wasted.

I arrived 45 minutes before closing and was told they would not have time to give me a flu shot. I used to work at Walgreens as a pharmacy technician, unless they had 10 waiters (the store was almost empty) they had time to give me a flu shot. Lazy, and they won't receive my flu shot rebate. If I could give them zero stars, I would! I filled a prescription for my child tonight and I was about to give him the medicine when I found a long, disgusting hair! It was wrapped around the bottle and reached to the inside where it sat in the liquid. I called these sorry individuals immediately and they were unapologetic. No matter that I had to get myself and my sick child out of bedtime mode and back over to Walgreens! Even when I returned, the lady was just surprised I'd found the hair (that very obviously did not belong to my child or me). I watched her pull the hair out, mix another prescription, and that was it. No apology at all! Clearly there is no concern that I was going to give a contaminated medication to my child. I get my prescriptions filled here. Always great service and they are careful to explain all medications (even ones I've been taking for a while, they'll give me a periodic refresher!). The store is always clean an organized, and everyone there has always been very friendly/helpful. read more

The pharmacist and the pharmacy staff is always more than helpful. Every time I go in to this pharmacy I'm greeted with a smile and they have always been helpful. Always on time with my prescriptions. They are helpful with my insurance too, and try to get me the best possible price for my prescriptions. Thank you for your exemplary customer service! read more

I have never had a good experience at Walgreens here. Every time I go to pick up my prescription, they are so slow and it seems like they don't know what they are doing. Just recently, my doctor was trying to get me the least expensive form of a medicine that I was taking since I do not have insurance. I called to ask for a price check and the person who answered the phone sounded clueless, and they made me repeat my question at least 3 times. She then transferred me to the pharmacist who was just as clueless. He asked me all of the same questions that the tech had asked and then made me wait for 5 minutes before telling me that my doctor had to call in. So I emailed my doctor, and she called, and she ended up sending my prescription to Walmart because Walgreens was no help to her at all. The employees at this store clearly don't know what they are doing and have no respect for customer service. As someone who has worked in customer service before, I am appalled at the way I am treated every time I go here. I will be changing my prescriptions shortly. read more
