I live two hours away and my college age son is extremely sick with strep throat and did not feel well at all. Our doctor called in a prescription and they were able to fill it within the hour. Truly one of the absolute worst Walgreens in the Bryan/College stations area. Pharmacy customer service is sloppy, slow, and shows no lack of urgency. Avoid this Walgreens. If you call them, at any point in the day, expect a minimum 30 minute hold time. read more

Let me tell you, customer service at the 29th street location is beyond amazing! The pharmacy staff here go out of their way to assist you and follow through on their commitment to you. Specifically Erin, who will remember you by name, and get you the help that you need - even if that is at a different Walgreens location - , and Dr. Jasmyn who will answer any questions you may have about your medication at pick up. Exceptional customer service! I should have moved my prescriptions here years ago. I feel that they genuinely care about meeting my needs; a far different approach from the location down the street. I gave this Walgreen's 3 stars because I do like that its open 24 hours, in case I need something I can go anytime but what I have a problem with is a woman that works there, I believe her name is Heather, every time she has checked me out she has been rude, seems annoyed and she could definitely try to be better, she works in customer service. This Walgreens is usually my go-to because it's 24 hours and the staff is usually great. But tonight was not a great experience, the whole time my partner and I were in the store we were getting closely followed by this female employee, like shoulder to shoulder close. We thought it was just a coincidence that she was following us at first, but everywhere we went she was following close behind. I mean she didn't even to try and hide staring us down. I don't know if we looked weird because we were in our pj's or what, but she made us feel very uncomfortable and not welcome. read more

Pharmacy techs are not helpful at all. I was waiting for a prescription for about 2 weeks, I finally called and spoke to a rep I completely forgot to get her name but she finally told me why my prescription was being denied and I was able to fix the issue. If from the beginning the previous techs would've looked into the problem I would have figured it out but literally it took me having to speak to more than 6 pharmacy techs that were no help at all. Worst pharmacy in Cstat/Bryan area. Do not come here if you have other choices. I come in for a popular prescription, waited in line for 15 minutes, get to the front and I'm told to give them 15 more minutes, okay alright. I walk around and wait and then get back in line, (which is super slow), so you think by the time you get to the front it could possibly be done. Second time at the cashier, not quite done, so I just sit down nearby on a chair. I am there waiting for a whole hour on top of my initial 15 min wait time and line time. I wait in the chair until I had my name called on the intercom to pick up my prescription, go up to the front, to be told that "we're still working on it". Why would you call my name then?! I ask the tech, "Is it going to be ready or not? If not that's okay, I can come back later" and she proceeds to get defensive and tell me "It's in the pharmacist's hands it up to her, it's on her desk." As if the prescription could be filled anywhere from instantly or in another 1hr, like what?! I then tell her "You know what, if it's not done, it's not done, this is ridiculous, I can just come back later." And she proceeds to give me the same bs about "idk it's up to the pharmacist it's on her desk". As I am walking out the door, I hear my name called again on the intercom and walk right back up very ticked off. Another tech decides to check me out because the other one seems slightly unnerved about me calling her out for telling me and other patrons 15 minutes, when that is a significant underestimate from over an hour. Prescriptions take time to fill, I respect their time and I would not mind one bit if they told me to come back in an hour or two hours, as they seem to be chickens with their heads cut off running around, but their chaos and lack of time management does not warrant the disrespect of others' time. We get it. Y'all are busy, so is everyone else, so lay off the BS and give y'all's self ample, realistic time. Someone doesn't like the quotes refill time? So what? Would save some of this pharmacy's last bit of professionalism. The ONLY pro of this place is that it is 24 hours, so if you really need your prescription I guess last resort use this place, otherwise just go somewhere else. read more

I literally can't with this location . Not to be rude but the lady named Kristina that was shift lead was a total bitch . Has a horrible attitude and customer service you Could read her face from a mile away and made me feel like shit when I was in line . I felt embarrassed in front of multiple people the way she was acting and speaking to me . The lady next to her was kind enough to explain what I was doing she was super sweet I wish I had her name Kristina was also was rude to her co/worker with extreme attitude like if you don't like your job then find another one cause if you aren't a people person then get out of customer service . Especially if your shift lead you should be setting an example never in my life have I ever witnessed someone rude to me and never have I ever left a review but that honestly was the worst experience I have ever encountered . James and Heather are the BEST Walgreens employees I have ever encountered! Very professional and helpful. I can't recommend ask THEM for help when you need it. James is the night shift manager and he works very hard through the night shift to make sure shelves are full and customers are smiling!!!! These people need a raise for dealing with customers like me honey! I can't say the same for other employees, espy the pharmacist at this location. She's rude and doesn't like helping people. Tonight she closed down the 24/7 hour pharmacy to go on break which I did NOT APPRECIATE because I am sick and would like my inhaler so I can breathe okay tonight! Seriously she paid to go to school for 8 years to help people and acts like this.... She's lucky I don't call the state of Texas to complain. She's lucky she has an excellent night shift manager to calm crazy people like me down! This is the slowest pharmacy I've ever been at I was in line for 40 minutes at the drive-thru.

This is a review for pharmacy only. Insufferably incompetent, except for the man in the white coats who works nights- he is slightly competent, but I'm assuming he actually takes his job seriously. Until today, I thought they were average, but I was sorely mistaken! Srike 1: They have lost my rebate card information thrice- it was supposed to be in the system but somehow got deleted. The first two times, I had to to tell my doctor to give them directions on how to use the rebate card. The third time, I had my doctor call them to give them the rebate number, and when I called back that night, they said the number didn't work. Each time I would have to take time out of school, work, and everything else to drive to my doctor's office to try and catch their office hours to get another rebate card. With my busy schedule, it took about a half a month for me to get a fourth rebate card, meaning a half a month of missed medication. Strike 2: Each time I gave them another rebate card, they will tell me I have to wait another day because they need to send a request to my physician to ask for permission to use the card. This sounded ludicrous to me, but I went with it, assuming they knew how to do their job. But this is a strike because of what I will tell you next...I finally went to H.E.B. Pharmacy - they're fabulous. This place has a lot of Aggie students and alumni working. They got me my medication, inputted my insurance, inputted AND RETURNED TO ME MY REBATE CARD, all in 15 minutes. Strike 3: At H.E.B. my medication costed $25 for the 90g- an amount 3x larger than what this Walgreens gave me, even though my rebate card blatantly read all amounts cost the same, but I just went with what Walgreens told me- 30g or bust. Walgreen's excuse? - My insurance only covered the smaller one. Apparently NOT! What a scam of time and money. I'd hate to pigeonhole, but just to stay safe, Walgreens Pharm for me is out of the game! read more

Slowest pharmacy drive through ever. Every time I go here I wait in a three car line for almost an hour because theres only ever one person running the drive through. Pharmacy Technicians have messed up my refills MULTIPLE times, or have not filled my prescriptions at their location and sent me to another location. read more

The most irritating pharmacy about but it's 24 hours so..... they lost my prescription and instead of looking for it, they help 4-5 more customers hoping it would reappear. They kept my insurance card on last visit but then seemed irritated that I asked for it. They talk over you in the drive thru. They have speaker up so loud people on 29th STR. Or restaurant next door can hear your address, phone, data birth and med type. read more

I've been using this pharmacy for a few years now, they're the only 24hour pharmacy in all of BCS so they get busy outside of normal business hours, but it's available, not everywhere I have lived has had a 24hr pharmacy so it's awesome that we have one. Other than longer wait times, to be expected since they're going solo in that department, I've never had a bad experience there. read more

8 months ago this was a good place to do business. I don't know what has happened in the pharmacy there, but it has become a joke. I had one Rx filled halfway, they corrected it. They have filled prescriptions for my wife that had no refills remaining. We expected they would have gotten authorization from the doctor for a new Rx but they just filled the Rx that existed with no refills remaining. Calling up there is a joke just went through their phone process and got hung up on both times. Went two nights ago to pick a Rx for my wife, I was the only person at the counter and the woman told me she would be with me in a sec. I waited for nearly 5 minutes and she just kept doing her thing on the computer and talking with, what I assume, was a co-worker. I finally walked out and as I'm leaving, she has the nerve to ask me, "are you picking up." NO NOT NOW IM NOT! Picking up these last Few Rx's and then I'm not stepping foot back in that store for ANYTHING. read more
