EMPLOYEE CUSSED ME OUT!!!! I needed some hair dye and was shopping right before closing time.. I browsed the makeup as well and was being glared at by a tall skinny young woman with big round glasses.. I wasnt able to see her name tag because my vision is not the best. I decided not to spend my money there and wait to go to CVS the next day. I glared back at her and walked out, and she told me I was a pathetic piece of shit and an ugly whore! It sounds so bad it's hard to believe, I know.. but I swear to God she said that to me! What is going on with your employee? She must have thought I was stealing, but that is no excuse! Spelling counts, I am also pretty sure these hours are incorrect on the sign. Pharmacy staff is really good though. I even told the manager a couple months ago that the hours were incorrect on the sign and it still has not been corrected. read more

What's up with with the pharmacist who shouts and screams at the top of his lungs to customers and patients, in person and on the phone, at this Walgreens on 1042 Nord Avenue? Does he have a hearing loss? Is he deaf? Or just really angry and super stressed? On the phone with me and with drive through customers as I picked up my Rx, (as he violated their medical privacy, shouting/screaming about their medications, what the meds were, how often they should be taken) was cringe-worthy. I felt so bad for the drive-through customer who had NO IDEA that her medical information and privacy was so horrifically violated. Yo - - - pharmacy dude ... breathe. Calm the f*** down. walgreens on nord has the worst management ive ever seen. while shopping there, enjoying myself with my gf, using the Ibotta app looking for deals, the manager on duty came and accused us of stealing and then when i confronted him about it demanding he look at the camera he instead said we were being weird and acting funny. when leaving i saw him at the checkout and assumed he was there to apologize after checking camera but instead he removed his name tag and ran to the back. working retail is no excuse to be a coward there are plenty of respectable men and women working in retail. read more

I was shopping at Walgreens after work really late one night. I needed several things from medications for my sick child to hair products. Gloria was extremely helpful walking around with me give me giving advice on certain products and sales. When my hands got you full she even went and got me a basket. Her going above and beyond like that for me really made me want to go back. In addition to let people know about my positive experience there. I am a minority in let's face it a predominately white community so I appreciate it when I made to feel comfortable out and about. read more

This review is for Collin in the pharmacy. This guy is seriously the best pharmacist I've ever seen. If he can help you, he will. A far cry from the buffoons at CVS on Forest Ave. your stuff is ready, when you show up and on the first attempt to pick it up. If Dr authorization is required, he contacts them. He doesn't wait for you to show up to tell you to call your Dr to get authorization. He does it for you, without you asking or wasting your time going in for nothing. He is proactive and puts himself in the customer's shoes. His pharmacy is organized and doesn't have a bunch of chaos and unhappy customers or employees hanging around. I've been super happy since I switched from CVS to here. Collin even calls you back to let you know what's going on throughout the process. He even did this when I wasn't even expecting a call back. He's pleasant, smart and a pleasure to work with. This is important when you're dealing with prescriptions. I wish my Mom would get enough of the BS she deals with at CVS and make the switch too. One of the checkout clerks in this store today was wearing her mask on her chin so that it did not cover her nose or mouth even when interacting in close proximity with customers. I mentioned it to her and she refused to wear it properly. I found this store's failure to require its employees to comply with mask requirements especially appalling as it's main purpose is to provide a pharmacy and health related items. I opted not to shop there and won't be going back. I only gave one star because yelp requires at least one. read more

As far as pharmacies go and knowing that with medications, there WILL be problems sooner or later, these guys are by far the best. I have been to all different pharmacies in Chico & surrounding areas, California, and other states and Nord Walgreens is absolutely the best one I've been to. Their turnaround time really can't be beat. Additionally, pharmacists and techs are wonderful! Thanks to everyone there! read more

I would give no stars if I could. I came in to look at the Essie nail polish and a concealer and was browsing the make up aisle. I was followed like a shoplifter the whole time. I have worked in retail and I know people steal but to just follow someone is plain rude. Whoever is teaching them their loss prevention tactics needs to do a better job. They didn't even approach and ask if I needed help finding anything, they just had someone follow me aisle to aisle. When I got to the registers there were two lines, one for each open reg, I got in the shorter line. When it was my turn to be rung up the cashier turned to the other line and said he could help who was next! And someone came over and cut me in line. I calmly said "um hey, I've been waiting in line here" in case he didn't see me, but he ignored me and started ringing the other person. I left my stuff at the register counter and walked out. I won't be back, target will get my business instead. read more

I typically use the Walgreens on East avenue, unfortunately they were out of my medication and I had to use this one. I work in the health care industry and I know the difference between what the law states to ensure a medication is dispensed properly and being harassed by a pharmacist. I was asked questions that should not have been asked of me, things that could have easily been confirmed by my insurance or provider. I will be reporting the pharmacist to the state board. People should be aware of this pharmacy and avoid it if possible. read more
