My skin feels incredible. Wow! I appreciate that I had this done in a medical facility vs a day spa because I knew, without a doubt, that instruments were sterilized, and everything was orderly. I can not say enough positive things about this place; from the massages by Sandra, facials by…read moreMikell, to haircuts by Britton. They're all fantastic!! I originally went here for a massage due to realizing that my posture had gotten horrible. Sandra does reflexology, which was new to me, but felt amazing! I got talking to Mikell one day about the issues I've had with my skin; I have extremely dry skin that causes breakouts. Nothing has worked, since I was 16. Until now!! Mikell is honestly a miracle worker!! And the products she uses are naturally based and wonderful!! After a couple weeks of getting regular facials, I decided "what the heck, I need a haircut too, why not??" and made a haircut appt. That was a lovely decision!! I told Britton to do what he thought would look good, and he did a lovely job! Different than what I had and a cut that has gotten me lots of compliments. Bottom line--they have a customer who will keep coming back!! The only thing I haven't tried is a manicure/pedicure. But I have a feeling when I'm due for one, I know where I will come!! Plus. They treat you like family! It's very welcoming!!

She's intuitive, professional, and a clear communicator- letting me know ahead of time what to expect and making sure I felt comfortable to communicate my needs regarding pressure/intensity and areas of concern. Lora is also very knowledgeable and offered me suggestions for how to ease tension in my leg muscles using a foam roller, to continue loosening the muscles she worked on. She also doesn't rattle on with unnecessary chatter...unless that's what you want. I prefer quiet time to reflect and breathe into the work. Her demeanor is relaxed and soothing and at no point did I feel rushed, including afterwards when she encouraged me to take a few minutes to stretch and breathe before rising to dress. Lora is a true healer. I highly recommend her and I'll be returning again to receive her magic touch, for sure! :)

Dr Myers prescribed 5 days of antibiotics. It helped but didn't knock it out so back I went. Dr Myers prescribed 7 days of antibiotics this time. It helped but the pain returned. I went back to the doctor AGAIN and he basically told me I was fine -- and not very nicely. I left crying because I KNOW there is pain. Now I've developed a hideous and painful swelling on my chin. So, his time I went to my primary care physician. She said what was on my face and breast was definitely a staph infection. She sent me in for a blood draw and prescribed another strong antibiotic. She wants to see me in less than a week and says I may need an antibiotic IV. Thank goodness I finally decided not to go back to Dr. Myers OR Northstate Plastic Surgery.

Though the store did not carry what I was looking for, she showed me many other options, which I seriously considered if I did not find exactly what I was looking for at another store nearby. When I walked in the door Chanel said hi and welcome and smiled. She immediately asked if she could help, at which I was surprised as I have never received this level of customer service at other Sally Beauty in the Bay Area in the past. She popped out from behind the counter and quickly showed me the section where the product would be. I was looking for a specific kind of bridal head piece, which was not carried. She showed me other options and made suggestions about how to make them work for me. She also suggested I come back another day of the week when their shipment comes in. As I left she congratulated me on my wedding and told me to come back soon. I would definitely return to this store just to get the level of customer service I received. The missing star is simply that their hair accessory section, though fully stocked, did not have what I was looking for.
