Worst pharmacy I've ever experienced. They've been the closet pharmacy for about 4 years. I've had to get meds from them maybe 6 times. Everytime I have my doc right a prescription and send it to them, it takes more then 6 hours to fill a prescription. They are the worst! Don't ever get your meds from them. After today I'm done. Stopped by the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. Long line of cars at the drive through, so went inside. Only one worker was handling the line of walk-ins AND the drive through window. After 15 minutes, I left. They can stuff their pills. Plenty of other and better choices. read more

The pharmacy drive through is consistently HORRIBLE. I'd give them a zero if I could. Recently I drove up and there were only two cars ahead of me. It was 8:30 pm. By the time they got to me it was 8:58 pm. Two minutes shy of a 30 minute wait with only 2 cars ahead of me. This is how it is every time. I'm gonna leave and find a new pharmacy. read more

Typically, Walgreens has been a pretty good store for us, but over the past one to two years, the quality of customer service and friendliness in the Pharmacy department has gone completely downhill. For the most part, the people who work in the pharmacy are very rude, much less than competent in their job performance and extremely frustrating to have to do my Pharmacy business with these people. Consequently, we are transferring our business to CVS Pharmacy who does a very good job with their friendly customer service. Will not shop at this location again! read more

I use Walgreens for their photo service for years. They have fast service for photos when you need them within an hour. I made Christmas cards online and within an hour, I got an email notice it was ready. The cards came out great! Sometimes, they have promo codes for pics. The cost is even better! read more

My mom Teresa passed :( I had a gift project to make. There's was a Acrylic block gift to give to the family on the day of the viewing and funeral. It was a large order. Walgreens manager went all over town to get the Acrylic blocks and even to Oroville to complete my order. They call me when the letters where to small and cannot see them. They call me again to fix another problem. The stuff was so nice and helpful. Thank you everyone that help me get my beautiful mom in this time of sorrow and make it right. Pharmacy tech was rude and asked unnecessary questions. My Rx was sent there at roughly 7pm, I arrived at 8:41 pm and she told me it was for tomorrow morning. I told her no way it was sent tonight, she proceeded to ask if I needed tonight. (Seriously? Why would I come at nearly 9pm if I didn't need the Rx tonight?) I asked why it was set for tomorrow morning and she replied "I asked if you need it tonight?" Get out of here! If you hate your job leave it please, because you are doing a disservice to all of us. I've never had a worse pharmacy experience, and honestly messing up people's medications should have some kind of legal enforcement. I've been a steadfast Walgreens customer for at least 16 years. I recently moved to the area and was originally delighted with how nice everyone here was. They informed they wouldn't be able to fill one of my regular prescriptions properly because of corporate supply issues, and went out of their way to recommend local pharmacies that might be able to help. I decided to keep my other prescriptions with them because they were so friendly. But then a multitude of other issues happened: 1. They were unable to transfer one prescription from another Walgreens. They told me they fixed it, but it wasn't actually fixed until I personally talked with the other Walgreens to force it through. 2. They lost - just LOST - an urgent prescription my doctor called in. He called it in. When I went in to pick it up they told me they were out of stock and I would need to come back in a week. I did so and they told me they had no record of the prescription at all. The technician who talked to me the second time was unapologetic and blamed my doctor (who wasn't super excited that he had to call it in again to a different pharmacy and that I hadn't been taking it yet). 3. They again lost the transfer of the previously manually transferred prescription and told me "well, we don't have it". Every other Walgreens has it. Why not this one? Side observation - this pharmacy seems to have 5-8 people working in it at all times, but there is still always a half an hour wait. My previous Walgreens (I used 4 interchangeably for years with no problems) had 2 people and could handle things so much faster. read more

Frequently out of stock or under stocked on sale items in the retail store. For example, sale price applies to purchase for 2 or more items, but there are not enough on the shelf to qualify....or they're out. The pharmacy is okay and staff seems qualified, but occasionally under staffed. Sadly, I find this to be the case at most retail pharmacies. read more

We have to use Walgreen's because of some sweetheart deal they have with AARP. If not we would be anywhere else. Time after time they have lied and made mistakes on our drugs. Let me be clear, this not an individual failing. There are some individuals in the pharmacy that try to be helpful but seem to be thwarted by the managers or pharmacists. My wife has received unsolicited medical advice from the pharmacist, despite what my doctor has written on the prescription. My wife has to pick up all of the prescribed drugs as I don't drive anymore. If you value your health, you might want to reconsider your choice to use this pharmacy. read more

Multiple problems with this pharmacy. They never communicate when my prescription is ready for pickup, and when I call to check the pharmacist always has an attitude as if I'm annoying them. They've messed up on my prescription multiple times resulting in weeks of waiting to pick it up. Just recently was told they could no longer fill my prescription after it had been sent in a week ago. Here is a TRUE covid update. My family member shared an experience at this location where he politely asked a pharmacy staff member to put on a mask (he was uncomfortable because this person only had a face shield on, and this is an airborne virus), and they laughed at him and mocked him. Let me repeat that. Your pharmacy employee MOCKED and LAUGHED at a customer who POLITELY requested that a mask is in place during the transaction. Anyone with vulnerable loved ones, I would definitely steer them elsewhere for their safety. This is evidence to a lack of understanding and/or a lack of care. Anyone else, (and putting covid precautions aside for a moment), I would steer clear of a business who retain employees who are unkind, unprofessional, and think it's acceptable to mock their customers. Amber refused to hear a western union rep that I had on the phone to fix an issue. She used COVID 19 as an excuse to not get near my phone. Absolutely terrible. Waited in line for 20 minutes to drop off a prescription. Huge line and only one person working. Came back a few hours later, and not only did they ask to see my insurance AGAIN, they told me it didn't work - the same insurance that had worked several hours earlier at urgent care. Spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out what the problem was, they even called my insurance. Turns out, they entered my DOB wrong and marked me as Female instead of Male. I moved from Redding to Chico so I had to switch pharmacies. Called in today to receive my prescription, it was easy and I got a notification an hour later that it was ready for pickup. After I paid and drove away I realized they had given me the wrong prescription. I called and told them I did not receive the one I asked for. I was unable to return which I understand but they could not refund me my money for a prescription that I don't use. Makes no sense. This medication is literally going straight to the trash. What a waste. I want my refund. Imagine if I didn't realize they had given me the wrong medication and I took it.. do not get your prescriptions here read more

I went in this Walgreens location to get my photos developed. The ladies at the counter seemed kind of condescending and rude when I asked questions and mentioned a coupon online. After I picked up my photos I noticed that several were blank and half printed on the negatives and at least 3-5 prints were missing. I called in to inquire about that and the same employee told me that it was probably because the person who took the photos took them in too dark of a place and they didn't come out. I told her I knew for a fact that several of the pictures were taken in a plenty bright space and I could tell that some of the negatives were half there and yet the pictures that matched the negatives were still not in the package. She continued to repeat that it must have been because they were too dark and there was nothing she could do about it, getting rather rude. I said oh well and thank you and she promptly hung up the phone before I'd even finished speaking. I won't be returning to that location again. read more

The pharmacy is the most disrespectful group of employees I have encountered. Good luck trying to get any information about your prescription because they will talk to you like a child and give unwanted sass and get no information. Called in to ask someone who was able to give me the information needed to help get my prescription. My prescription is t easy to get and then being unhelpful and flat out rude makes it worst. My daughter came down with stomach flu or food poisoning on her wedding day, and I had to take her to an urgent care clinic. They sent a prescription to this Walgreens for something to help with the nausea and vomiting. This was obviously a pretty desperate situation since the wedding she had planned for months and spent a lot of money on was to occur in just a few hours. When I got to the pharmacy at Walgreens, the dark-haired lady behind the counter told me they were going to lunch and I would have to come back in an hour. I explained the situation, and she absolutely could not have cared less and refused to delay her lunch by 2 minutes to give me the medicine. After some desperate pleading, she grumpily agreed to look it up, then told me they had no record of it. Terrible customer service at this pharmacy and Walgreens in general. After my home and town burned down in Paradise CA they were of no help whatsoever. During the transfer of my medications to their Chico location I had refills canceled and had to return to my physician to get all new prescriptions. Part of the problem with Walgreens in general is that they often use floating pharmacist, so you're never dealing with somebody locally who has any commitment or attachment to the community. I will be getting most of her own from a mail away pharmacy in the future or Costco locally. read more

The store itself is fine, but the pharmacy is incredibly slow! It is not the employees fault, they are extremely over worked!! I just wanted to take a minute to acknowledge a pharmacist named Jim who works the grave yard shift. This man was my knight in shinning armor when I went through the drive through at 4 am with a child who had just tested positive for influenza a. He was so kind and did everything to make me smile. He even went and got my kids ibuprofen and Tylenol. He deserves a medal! It's people like him who give you faith in humanity again. They never have my full prescription and I have to wait forever each time I pick up my prescription that is "ready." They had one person there today at lunch time. When we arrived they said it would be another hour so we left and came back. They still weren't ready and said five more minutes so I waited 15 and once again they still weren't ready. I just left this place with no meds. I waited for 2 hours for antibiotics for a bad bone infection. They refused to fill it. They kept telling me 20 more minutes. I asked them 4 times about what the hell was going on. I left in tears. I will have to go back to the ER tonight to try to get a prescription somewhere??? Can't give a zero or most people would.. dropped my prescriptions, no problem... they txt stating they were ready, went to pick them up, ended up stuck in the drive thru line for 28 mins... 2 cars... when It finally got to be my turn they weren't ready ... I ended up going inside... when I got inside I received another txt they weren't ready after all .. Every time I come to this Walgreens I am at least waiting in line for 40 minutes to an hour for a prescription. I have never been at a Walgreens that is this slow at processing transactions. They are under staffed and their pharmacists have no sense of urgency.
