I can't stress enough how this Walgreens pharmacy is all over the place. Always a long line inside and in the drive-thru. They hired on an older lady with a very thick, East European accent who is consistently rude in-person or on the phone. She never knows what is going on and acts surprised if you request to speak to another pharmacist. If it wasn't for Vang or Alysa, I'd ask for my information to be switched to another location. They are super nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. Walgreens....get it together please. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They take days to fill a prescription and now they are closed on Sundays. There are reasons Walgreens pharmacy has so many 1 star reviews. I suspect one of them is they are understaffed. When a prescription goes in, the customer gets a message on the app that it will be ready at a very specific time. When that time comes and goes, the message changes to "Sorry, we are running behind schedule." This seems to happen EVERY time. My proscriptions are already 2.5 hours late. These aren't routine refills. They are prescriptions from Urgent Care to deal with on ongoing health issue. If Walgreens can't afford to adequately staff, at least be honest with the customers! read more

Summary of this review: This place is a nightmare of incompetence. Do NOT come here for passport photos. Go ANYWHERE else. Here's the whole stupid story: I needed passport photos for my daughters. I called ahead of time and was assured that there was *always* someone working the photo counter who could help me. I even specified the time I would be there. So we're good to go? Yessir. I left work early and picked up my daughters early from daycare and took them to get the photos, but... there wasn't anyone at the photo counter. A surly employee chased someone else down and she took the photos, but... with the wrong kind of background. She then spent about 45 minutes digitally editing the photos... which the US government doesn't allow on passport photos. I got home with the photos and my wife realized they were useless, so she went back with our daughters to clear things up. Second try. She came home an hour later with new photos... that were the wrong size. I put my daughters to bed and went back for the third time and the person who had initially "helped" us with the photos giggled at me and muttered something and walked away. I was told by someone else that they couldn't re-size the photos because they delete everything after they print. The surly employee from earlier explained that only very few employees could've taken the photos, but that they weren't the ones helping me. Then he started cursing as he walked away... though maybe he was on my side? As in, maybe he was the only other person who recognized the place as the mess it really was? I got a refund in the end, though I would've gladly given up the $35 to just skip the whole process. Frustrating and infuriating. read more

Pharmacy is terrible! First off, my medications were called in and I came the NEXT day! I was first person in line and I had to wait for 15 minutes. Finally, I'm helped and they said my medication was not ready and I would have to wait another 15 minutes very rudely. Like first off, it's not my problem you guys are backed up why do I have to deal with rudeness??? Made an appt for flu vaccine at 3:45pm online and a day in advance. When I arrived nobody was ahead of me and there was one woman behind me (walk-in) who also wanted to obtain a flu vaccine. For some odd disorganized reason the woman behind me obtained her flu vaccine at 4:25pm and I obtained my flu vaccine at 4:30pm. There were aprox 4 people behind the counter and 1 pharmacist and they couldn't get it together. I think I'll be switching over to the Minute Clinic from now on. Walgreens corporate this location needs serious HELP!!! From the parking lot of rift raft to the extremely bare shelves and the dysfunction of the pharmacy...all just a bad combo which poses a severe SAFETY concern! read more

Do not come here if you need anything done in a timely manner. I've had to wait countless times, 20, 30 plus minutes with a crying baby for them to simply give me my prescription. I've also had to wait an hour plus when I had an appointment for vaccinations. And this is not when there are multiple others waiting - I've had one person in front of me, or none at all. read more

Unkind. Without compassion. My family was having a crisis and I needed to pick up a prescription. I was afraid I would be late by 1 or 2 minutes so I called the pharmacy to ask them to wait for me for two minutes before they closed for the night. That I needed help and I was going as fast I could. They said no. I begged said I just needed help. The answer was still no. I was transferred to the pharmacy manager and the answer was still no. While waiting to get my prescription a guy who had been called in to pick up was told it wasn't ready. I called ahead for an appointment as their website told me to do, and they said they only do walk ins. I want to give negative stars for the supposed store manager, Valerie Hotzclan (?) . An average 6th grader has a much higher intelligence level. I was called the day before my 1st Covid vaccine and asked to come in one day later so they would not have to open a new vial for one dose. i agreed after being assured it would not impact my second dose appointment, which was 4 weeks from the first. When I received the first dose, I asked again and was assured my second dose appointment would not need to be rescheduled. I arrived for my second dose and was told that they could not give it to me. Valerie said there was nothing she could do, even though it was their fault. I repeatedly (4 times!) asked her to call someone to get an override. She told me I had to come in the next day and that I had 42 days to get the second dose. I had plans to go out town for the weekend. Her lack of problem solving ability impacted not only myself, but others also. I was driving home - 45 mins after I left the store - when Valerie calls. She was so proud of herself for reaching out to the Pharmacy manager for an override. Something she WOULD NOT do when I was still in the store. I asked her 4 times to contact someone!!! It is a shame that Walgreens pays Veronica a manager's salary, or any salary, for not having the intelligence to find her way out of a paper bag. ***UPDATE*** Now this Walgreens store is calling me every few hours telling me I am due for my second dose. This is my 1st review. Many to come. PROS: convenient location, drive-thru pharmacy, good selection of products. CONS: Horrible customer service (reg employees are bad, but tolerable. The pharmacy employees are misinformed, rude & are bad at there jobs. PERSONAL EXPERIENCES: Originally switched household of 3 to this pharmacy, after only 3 months of continuous bad service, we are switching again. They would not dispose of my old prescriptions, per CA law. Was told to just throw them in the trash, which is illegal w/ controlled substances. Thankfully, I researched 1st. They have been on time w/ a prescription, exactly 3 times. This is out if the 30 monthly prescriptions for my elderly stepfather. FIX: New, better trained employees. Simple. read more

Had to use the Fed Ex pick up service at the Walgreens location. I needed to use the lady's room as soon as I arrived, but it was password locked with no staff in sight. Frustrated, I walk to the front of the store and an Associate, Lashanda walked me back to the ladies room. I understand why the location keeps them locked but it's annoying to have to look for staff when the priority is using the ladies room. When I arrived at the photo section (also Fed Ex), Lashanda was there. I then watched Lashonda helping customers ahead of me, one who needed something from the front of the store so Lashanda apologized, left temporarily and returned. Customers were walking to Photo asking questions and Lashanda continued apologizing for the wait. I watched her nearly work the entire store. Walgreens, where was your staff, it was totally unacceptable to have a person working photo, unlocking bathrooms and having to leave her work station to help customers at photo who simply wanted to pay and go home. When I walked into the store I noticed two people who clearly looked like they had just shopped in Walgreens "for free," pulling all sorts of new products of out a backpack, right outside the store. I would not willingly return to this location. Walgreens get you're staffing together. The two stars are for Lashanda. On my way out I did tell her I hope if I ever have to return that you're long gone because this is horrible where are the staff? She simply smiled, apologized again for the wait and bid me good day. After paying for my items, I said have a great day and this rude clerk again, did not speak to me. The only courteous guy in there, works in the photo department. Wishing I remembered his name. I made an appointment for a vaccination today and arrived on time. I had to wait about 45 minutes after my appointment time to get it. Throughout the time I was there, nobody else got an injection or arrived for one after mine, and very few people came to the counter and window. Both the tall, dark-haired clerk and the pharmacist were very rude in not acknowledging my arrival, even though they were right there, letting me know there might be a wait and why, or apologizing for the delay. Save yourself aggravation and go to another Walgreens. The one on El Camino is fantastic. Wish I had see the other poster's review before I went here. read more

You can print digital photos straight from you phone but, bring a cord or microSD. The staff here are helpful and friendly but the area around the store is getting sketchy so I wouldn't recommend coming after dark. I wish this was a 24 hour location or at least had a 24 hour pharmacy but the neighborhood probably prevents it. read more

I went to Walgreens to drop off a film camera to have my photos developed. Firstly, getting the camera in the correct location was a hassle to begin with as NONE of the employees had any intention on helping me. I asked several employees where I can drop off my camera and was shooed away in the direction of the Photo desk that I had already been at. They practically told me "its over there" while looking in the opposite direction. It was truly like pulling teeth to get any answers out of these employees. After finally getting through the first step of simply dropping the camera off, I went home. I was told that the pictures would be developed in a couple of days, so when a couple of days passed and I didn't get a call to come pick them up, I was confused. I called and a woman named Joanne rudely answered, snapping at me and telling me that NO ONE would have told me they were going to be ready in a couple of days and as a matter of fact they wouldn't be ready for a couple of weeks. Because I am leaving town in a couple of days and needed my pictures and camera, I asked if it was possible to pick up my camera now, since the process would take too long. She responded telling me that my camera had already been sent out and that there was no way I could come pick it up. Well, I had a feeling that that was a lie, so I decided to go to Walgreens to check to see if my camera was still sitting in the dropbox. Low and behold! My camera is sitting in this box, NOT SENT OUT, so I grabbed it and left. I will never try Walgreens again and will NEVER recommend. Save your time! read more

I love the pharmacy staff, but Joann should reevaluate how she treats customers. I've worked customer service 12+ years and never have I threw someone's change at them. She seemed to have an issue that I returned something that didn't work for my husband. My husband was recently released from the hospital for a serious condition and needed pain relief. She also had an attitude about changing the name on my membership. I'm a human.. It's her job to help people, not pick and choose who she wants to help because she's was certainly nice to the white customers behind me. This isn't the first time she's done this to me either. I'll take my business back to Wal Mart where I know the service is already mediocre. read more

Apparently I'm not the only one who has been remotely harassed because of their appearance. I walked in the store and immediately went to look at nail polish. I look over my shoulder because I see someone looking at me through the corner of my eye. I turn my head and some old bag (who looked like an obese version of Sharon Osbourne) is putting her dry and wrinkly hands on her hips. At the same time she was giving me a very dirty look. She made a face like she coughed up some phlegm and was just holding it her mouth because she was waiting for the right moment to spit it out. Anyways, after giving him/her/them a nasty look right back, I continued to do my shopping, regardless of how uncomfortable I felt with the stork from Vlaskic pickle watching my every move. about ten seconds later I hear a message being played on the intercom, prompting "security" to walk the floor. Next thing you know I have "security" and him/her/them walking circles around me while they're trying to act like they aren't looking at me as they go by. Keep in mind I had only been in the store for about thirty seconds. The decrepit ball of dirt approached me and began to talk to me just to talk. She was telling me all about their sale on nail polish and they have the color that I was holding on sale. It wasn't on sale and I knew what she was doing. After they do about five laps around me, him/her/them is magically at the counter in the beauty section, doing nothing but watching what I was doing once again. This was very upsetting because I came in there with every intent to buy nail polish and they were treating me like a thief. I'm assuming it was because of my race because all I did was walk in the door. I left the store because I was so upset.. I was so upset I left the store then came back just to talk to the old sack of dust and debris. At first she played dumb. Then she tried to cover her own ass after lying and saying she didn't call security out. After I got her to admit to everything she did, her explanation for all of it was "It was just a feeling" and "It was the look you gave me" and "maybe if you had smiled". I guess everyone has to walk into this place with a smile in order to not get harassed and treated like a thief. read more

Convenient location and the manager is always on top of keeping the parking lot clean and the homeless away from the store. Joanne is also great!
