I will not waste much more emotional energy today on explaining everything that went wrong with my interaction with the manager today, except in saying I now understand why my experience is often poor at this Walgreens pharmacy -- the poor management. Even though they have a sign out front telling us to be kind and respectful, this manager was not kind and respectful or patient with me, even though I actually was kind and respectful to her. There was no need for her to get on that level or take that tone and be so disrespectful to a patient. They start by getting annoyed when you ring the bell for service in the drive through. No one acknowledges you or says "we'll be with you in a moment Ma'am" when you pull up, so you have no way of knowing if they know you're there or not and you don't want to just sit there waiting in your car while they continue to serve inside clients, so naturally you ring bell for service to ensure they know you're waiting. Poor class, poor quality, no people skills, poor communication and on and on. Terrible experience! I gave two starts instead of one, because of the one kind young man who works there. read more

This is for the Walgreens PHARMACY on Kitsap Way in Bremerton, Washington. This Walgreens is not my usual Walgreens, but a prescription was sent to the wrong store so I had to come here unfortunately. This review is for the pharmacy only. I was forced to give it one star but if I could give it zero I would. RUDE!! RUDE!! This has got to be the rudest staff I've ever seen in any pharmacy. When I walked in, there were NO customers at the pharmacy counter whatsoever. Since I wasn't feeling all that great I was very happy to see this. Well, April fools to me! From what I could see from where I was standing, there were 4 pharmacy employees, counting the male working the drive up window. At least 3 of the employees saw me standing at the counter so they could see I was waiting for help. Now remember I was the ONLY customer in line they had to help. The male working the drive up window was about 3 feet directly in front of me and he also saw I was at the counter directly behind him. I was totally ignored by the entire staff! I waited and waited and waited and waited..... then I waited some more. When the male turned and it appeared as if he was no longer busy, I asked him "do I need to go through the drive-through in order to get help?" He asked me what do I mean and I explained to him that I have been standing here waiting for help and have been ignored. He replied to me quite nasty "well you can see I've been busy." I then explained again that the entire staff not only ignored me, but didn't even acknowledge my presence or say "I'll be right with you" including him. He then proceeded to get my prescription and ring it up. I'll never go back to that pharmacy ever EVER! In fact the Walgreens pharmacies have seemed to go downhill tremendously from the quality pharmacy chain they used to be. I'm seriously thinking of transferring my meds out of the Walgreens system, sadly. read more

I want to give a huge shout out to Bryan. He is so amazing, helpful, and kind. I am not joking. He's an angel on this earth. I came in to pick up two cups that I ordered online for Father's Day. He got the box from the back. And opened it for me to see if both of the cups were in there. I was going to leave, but he wanted to open up the boxes to see if the cups were not broken. One was in perfect condition, but the other one was sort of ruined. I was OK with that. But he really wanted me to get my money back because it was slightly ruined. He was really helpful. He made my day. Thank you so much, Bryan. You deserve a raise!! read more

Why can't this place have prescription ready in a reasonable time? My granddaughter has strep throat. Kind of important to treat. Was diagnosed yesterday around 3pm. It was a Sunday, so I knew it wouldn't get filled that day. 11am the next day. Still not filled. They said to give them an hour. There are always issues at this place. Always. read more

NEVER GO TO WALGREENS on kitsap and National!! Discrimination 101. My daughter went into this Walgreens to get nails for a dance and had the cops called on her. After she paid and left, a cop came up to her outside while she was walking to her car. Rhiannon, Glenda. and Meg (Walgreens employees) called the cops on her while she was innocently shopping in the store, and told her she was banned from this store. They said she cane in 2 weeks ago "with her boyfriend", my daughter, (she's gay) doesn't have a boyfriend. He supposedly caused havoc and damages to the store. She has never e experienced anything like this before and came home sobbing. Apparently some employee just saw her blue hair and nothing else, and banned her immediately. When my older daughter and I went to the store to ask for proof, they refused, and called the police. We waited quietly while the the employees Rhiannon, Glenda, and Meg talked shit about us like we were hysterical or something. The police called back and told Rhiannan to look at the tapes, which she didn't. She then lied to the police and told them she had told us to leave, no one ever told us to leave. The officer said well Rhiannon said "you are being violent and causing a scene." I was literally sitting there quietly on the chair at photo and was never asked to leave. Now myself and my children are all banned because they assumed my daughter was some delinquent, just because of her blue hair, we went to ask for proof, and they called the cops on us. This whole thing is ridiculous. Again their names are Rhiannon, Glenda, and Meg. If you are alternative or a minority in any way, avoid this Walgreens unless you want the cops called on you for nothing. I called corporate and she said, and I quote "they were profiling her because she is a teenager with blue hair" and they don't even have proof that the black kid "the apparent boyfriend" who "caused havoc" was the same kid at the store today, and that they profiled him because he was a black youth. If you are not an average looking light skin person, you WILL be profiled in this store especially by the old lady cashier named Glenda, shift manager Rhiannon, and employee Meg. They are catty and will whisper negative things loud enough for you to hear. They get away with this behavior because of bad management. SHAME ON YOU Rhiannon, Meg, and Glenda the bad witch. read more

Wish I could leave zero. I show up to the pharmacy and THEY WOULDN'T LET ME PICK UP!!! I had problems with the insurance on the app and they won't let me pay in cash. What do they want me to do? Be crazy all day? So not Epic. read more

Absolute WORST pharmacy EVER. They messed up my anti depressant prescription two months ago and didn't give me the full 90 day supply. Now theyre not taking responsibility, my insurance wont cover a refill for another MONTH. I will not make it another month. I will CRASH from going off my medication cold turkey. I will KILL MYSELF by the end of the month without this mediation. And they DO NOT CARE. They have made this VERY clear with their flippant attitudes towards my VERY VALID concerns and complaints. They have condemned me to DIE by my OWN HAND and they DO NOT CARE. If this were insulin for a type 1 diabetic I bet they would be doing EVERYTHING to help me - at least I hope they would but I honestly wouldn't be shocked if they didn't and they told that individual they can absolutely wait THIRTY DAYS for their LIFE SAVING insulin. Also they regularly have 4 or 5 people milling around in the back seemingly doing NOTHING. And ONE person at the register with a line down the aisle and 5 cars deep in the drive thru. There are SO many improvements that need to be made here but I know they won't and it's been this way for the last 4 months since I got out of the hospital for, oh right, a SUICIDE ATTEMPT (and Walgreens I REALLY don't want to go back to the godforsaken place!) Its been mistake after effing mistake with no compassion, no accountability, no apologies. There is no making this right at this point. Even if they fix this ONE issue I'm DONE - I will be transferring ALL my prescriptions of a compassionate pharmacy that quite frankly has their crap together. And yes, Walgreens, I KNOW - you're probably happy to see me go - just I'll be happy to NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS TRASH HOLE AGAIN. Not even for a Coke. Not even in an emergency. This place is a cursed nightmare. read more

I wish I could leave a zero. Melissa is the head person here and she speaks with such disgust. She has no regard for anybody's time but hers. Came here for my mother's prescription that thy said was ready. Told me it wasn't ready and they were taking lunch so I'd have to come back in 45 minutes to an Hour. I just drove over 30 minutes to get here for my mother's antibiotics. I have worked in management before and this is not the way you handle situations no wonder this pharmacy has all bad reviews. Walgreens needs to checkup on their locations and review their staffing. Disgusting behavior and of course I will not be making my way back here. read more

Being on hold for over a hour on the phone ordering my prescription and it took them 5 hours to fill a prescription and they keep on telling me there ain't ready yet. Took over 45 minutes to get help. I was in line. Walgreens is being so terrible on on Kitsap way read more

Worst pharmacy ever , you will die before getting a prescription at this location , pharmacy puts you on indefinite hold never answers, wait in pharmacy lines up your an hour , pharmacy counter services couldn't be any slower , have to go in multiple times to get them to even fill your prescription, pharmacy staff are the slowest imaginable, handling of Ritaid customer transfer could not been any worse , no increase in staff with Riteaid closing and transferring, they only have one pharmacist , no star rating for this location at all read more

Please find a different pharmacy!!! I really wanted to like the pharmacy and understand that staffing can be a challenge but after spending 35 minutes on hold waiting to update my insurance per their request only to find out they didn't need the info is beyond frustrating. Especially since for the past year my prescriptions were never ready when they were supposed to be and the staff are always rude. read more

Reoccurring problems with pharmacy. Most latest...insurance needed to be updated. Tried to submit it on the ap and it did not work. called and was on hold for 1hr with 3 others ahead of me. After 1 hr the Phone started ringing for 3 mins. Since no one answered it hung up. I called back and 2 people were now ahead of me. Hung up and called another department. I politely explained the situation and they cut me off and didn't let me finish speaking. Thankfully they did get me through to the pharmacy. pharmacist said hopefully it will get approved before they close at 6. I'm on day 2 of an active migrain. My prescription was supposed to be filled by 4. read more

The pharmacy sucks, always a problem with everything you ask , really not friendly or helpful

If you want to experience withdrawals, this is the pharmacy for you. Completely inept. Got refills from my doctor sent in on 6/26. Refilled through the online app with 3 pills to go on 7/5. Checked status -delayed on 7/7. Forwarded to the store on Wheaton way. Delayed. Turns out they are waiting on the generic for 2 weeks, meanwhile they had to emergency fill with the brand name which has been there the whole time. Was interesting round of neurochemical imbalance. Thanks, Walgreens! /sarcasmoff read more

Pharmacy staff was great the rest...not so much.. I had a covid booster scheduled. I arrived shortly before my appointment time got checked in and went to sit in the waiting area. Needing to use the restroom I got up to find it. After locating it I realized that I needed the code to unlock it. I did not notice the sign stating that the mens room was out of order. Down an aisle I go to find an employee to give me the code. After finding one I was informed that she had to unlock it for me. Ok. She and I head back toward the restroom. She stops just before the door and explains that it's out of order and just stands there staring at me. I ask if she can unlock the women's room. She replied "no we don't let people of the wrong gender use the restroom." I was told to go to Starbucks. I explained that I am waiting for a vaccine and shouldn't leave the building in case my name was called. Again I got denied. I'm not an unreasonable person, I could understand if it were not a single occupancy restroom or, I had merchandise that it appeared I was try to steal or, weren't in there to do business with them. Either way it's not likely that I will be spending anymore money with Walgreens. read more

This is a good store. I've never had to wait in a line and the service has always been professional and nice. They do have a weird policy that they card everyone present if alcohol is being purchased which is clearly problematic for things like purchasing a bottle of wine on your way home from work when your kids are with you. Is this normal? Maybe that's everywhere and I've just never noticed? Anyway, other than that it's a great place to pop right in and out of quickly. I recommend. read more

Walgreens - the front of a pharmacy - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Bremerton, Washington

The pharmacy staff can be totally rude. Especially when understaffed. Patients/customers are more an inconvenience. Just got off the phone with an employee who was "behind" on her prescriptions and just was rude because I made it seem like I was trying to jump the line, but I was just trying to ask a question. If you don't like your job or are going to be rude please go home! read more

Kitsap Way Bremerton Washington location is one of the worst anymore. There was a time when your prescriptions would be ready and waiting but in the last few years everything's gone downhill there. Even my blood pressure medicine's haven't been filled and it's been 2 days now. Another of my medications won't be ready until Monday, or they won't have it in stock so they say until Monday with no backup protocols in place. It's pathetic and unacceptable anymore. You have people working in the pharmacy that have no idea what the hell they're doing, billing wrong insurance and inflating the price. I would suggest everybody not have quick pay because you might get scammed. I hate to use the word hate but I hate Walgreens. Truth100%. Horrible service and attitudes from pharmacy staff and don't even have the medication to regulate my heart filled for the last 2 days, unprofessional and irresponsible if you ask me. To tell myself every month to find a new pharmacy is the new norm. Just thinking about that damn pharmacy will give you anxiety. I can't wait until they file for chapter 11 and go bankrupt because that's what they deserve. And they are being sued with Purdue pharma so I'll get a piece of theur pie one way or another. Just beware of their unfair practices and unlawful practices. Biggest suggestion find another pharmacy and don't use auto pay or quick pay for the love of Christ! read more

Did not have my prescription on file. Pharmacist tech kept stating that it would be there the next day. Three days later...Pharmacy is not open on the weekends. Skip this location and go across the street to Rite Aid. Corporate should either improve or close this location. read more

Walgreens is Walgreens. This one's so near us it is quite handy, except we get all our prescriptions from Kaiser Permanente. With no prescription reason to stop at Walgreens, the draw is minimal, and the Starbucks sharing the same parking lot becomes the bigger draw. But this Walgreens so close by, we do periodically drop in for such things as chip snacks, batteries, sugar-free candies, and puppy piddle pads. It's useful for quite a few odds and ends. But it's straight across National Avenue from Rite Aid which has been there vastly longer and gets a bigger share of our snacks and whatnots trade, as well as our over-the-counter drug needs. read more

Awful, discourage anyone to use this Walgreens as a pharmacy, most unprofessional, and worst work ethic I've ever seen in my life. Never again will I ever use this store. So unless you are able to go behind the counter and fill your own prescription and do your own insurance in the computer so you know it's right. You will be in withdrawal from your medications because they don't know how to do their job!!!!! read more

I went next door to the Rite-Aid in search of someone to take a passport photo. Rite-Aid's passport photo area was down and they recommended I go to Walgreens. Wow and thank you! I was actually quite impressed with Walgreens. Fast and friendly service. My passport photo turned out great. I noticed overall the store was clean, nicely laid out, and there was adequate and competent staff. read more

My son had a prescription at Walgreens that needed to be picked up. The store's website, app, and phone recording all say that it is open on Saturday. We show up to get the prescription, and it's CLOSED! There's a little note posted, when we get there, that the pharmacy is closed. There was no way for us to know that the hours had suddenly changed. I get email and app notifications that my prescription is ready for pick up, but no alert that the pharmacy will be closed all weekend. The electronic readerboard out front that advertises Coke on sale has not alert to pharmacy closure. I'm just glad that it wasn't heart meds, insulin, or albuterol that my son needed, or we would have ended up in the ER. The pharmacy is already closed on Sunday. Why close on Saturday and make customers wait all weekend for their prescription medication? This store has pretty poor customer service. I will be taking my family's prescriptions somewhere else. read more

The staff at the local store are nice people. I easily uploaded the digital photos to the website. The prints were ready on time at the store. They looked quite nice. Unfortunately too nice. The requirement of a the "Walgreens Customer Copyright Declaration Form" for photos that "look professional" and a statement from the photographer is a real show stopper. The staff empathized with my situation but they had to follow corporate policy. Later my wife tells me she doesn't get photos printed at Walgreens because of this onerous policy. I hope the people at the corporate level would get the clue that this policy, while good intended, is costing the company business. read more

I like to shop in this branch cause they have good selection and available item than with the other walgreens store near the area

This morning, I opened (they staple the bag) the prescriptions they gave me 7 days ago. They were controlled substances. I only counted them cause the school needed a specific amt. when I counted them out, I realized there were 5 missing. So I counted the other prescription in the same bag. It was 4 short. Also a controlled substance. I went in, and they counted their stock, and they agreed they must have messed up one of them because their count was off. However, the count was correct behind the counter, so they wouldn't replace them. And they implied that it was somehow my error. Uh... No. I'm not gonna fuss over 5 pills if I'm in the wrong. Anyway, the pharmacy manager went to HIS manager, we spoke on the phone, he said since their counts were right... Oh, and I've had them for 7 days, so.... Uh, again, no. I opened they sealed bag this morning and counted them immediately. Like... Seriously? I'm gonna raise a stink of I'm gonna jack 5 pills? Anyway.... They admitted they're wrong about the one, but not the other. If you get things filled there, count them. read more

I am a single father and this place is VERY sexist. I went into the store several days ago to buy my 14 year old daughter some juice and chips. While I was there I decided to grab myself 1 beer. The lady at the counter said my daughter had to have ID for me to purchase a beer!!?? I asked to talk to the manager (Stephany) and she stated that she would "allow" me to buy the beer this time but my daughter would have to not come in the store the next time!!?? I declined to purchase the items and left. The very next day I sent a female friend and my daughter into the store to purchase the EXACT items and there was absolutely no problems whatsoever. This is uncalled for and I'm tired of being treated like a second class citizen just because I'm a man with children. I'm a good person and your a horrible bitter woman. You need to control yourself Stephany and train your employees better. You should be ashamed of yourself. I will not be shopping there anymore, nor will any of my family and friends.Your company will lose out more money then they even pay you.Trust me on this. Shame on you! This happened at the Wheaton Way store and they are not even listed on Yelp as far as I can see.... read more

Worst service EVER by a pharmacist, Sepi was extremely rude to me treated me like a drug addict because I had an out of state license. I had just gotten laid off and didn't have the money to get a Wa. DL She said that she wasn't supposed to give me my meds because of this (SHE DID DISPENSE THE MEDICATIONS.) NO OTHER PHARMACY AROUND TOWN EVER TOLD ME THAT, NOT ONE PROBLEM!! She interrogated like a police officer (I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN TROUBLE WITH THE LAW BTW.)I called the manager who sided with her, accused me of yelling at him, which I was not and threatened to hang up on me! I asked for his District Manager's#; he refused and told me to complete the receipt survey. That does no good so this was the best place I thought would be good to let people around town that Walgreens on Kitsap Way DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE TREATMENT OF THEIR CUSTOMER'S!!! I have not/will not EVER go to that Walgreens again!!! 5 STARS FOR RITE AID ACROSS THE STREET!!! read more
