Sometimes both as is the case for their "manager" Rebecca. I've made a few pick-up orders here that have all gotten marked as picked up when they were not picked up. It feels scammy at worst and at best is a complete waste of time. Once it's marked picked up, there's no longer a link to use to mark you're at the store waiting. This then causes you to have to sit on the phone in the awful queue system until you can reach a person. It then takes them time to find it and get it out to you. It has never taken less than 15 minutes of me waiting in the parking lot for what should be a simple and quick pick-up. It's incredibly frustrating when you're sick/have sick kids waiting for items. The Pharmacy is quite possibly even worse. Numerous times my Rx was marked as ready to pick up online and yet when I get there they tell me it's not ready and treat me like I'm the jerk for asking why my app is showing it is. That's if they can even fulfill the monthly re-occurring Rx's! It's gotten so bad I've moved all my reoccurring Rx refills to another location 30 minutes away - because that's more convenient and easier than the one near my home. Shame on Walgreens, shame on the management.

Shelving is pretty high, so the CVS signage not as prominently visible. Once there it's pretty narrow and does create a bottleneck. Thankfully, folks in line were respectful and no line cutting. I was able to purchase only one of two items. I find it hard to believe that they did not carry the other item. However, no further information was provided. Whatever - I'll just have to return to the CVS Pharmacy location at the Northgate Target in Seattle or freestanding ones in Lynnwood and Edmonds, all across the sound.

We continue to use almost exclusively Rite Aid. We get our over-the-counter remedies from them, mouthwash, all the usual drug store things, and they do usually seem to be the better price, though if we really bothered to make comparisons it'd be a mixed bag. It may only be because they've been in our neighborhood longest they just seem friendlier, have a more complete stock of geegaws and whatnots that one expects from a large pharmacy. Our prescription meds, however, we get from the Kaiser clinic covered by insurance, so we end up using neither of the rival pharmacies for that. In 2017, alas, Rite Aid's Kitsap Way location was put up for sale for eight million dollars. They continued to do business but when the sale goes through I feared we'd have to settle for Walgreens thereafter. Instead, it had a "Grand Re-opening" but they still got me worried for its future.

Anyway, watched this busy pharmacist stand up for his techs and basically shut this woman down. This woman was horrible and I'll be upset if this guy gets anything but praise from corporate. They didn't notice they were out until it needed refill, so they had to order it. A full week later, I'm finally able to pick it up, but now it is under my new insurance. The difference in cost is $700. Since I have no choice but to take this drug to avoid strokes, I had to pay. If they'd been competent and filled it when it was due, I would have time to figure out an alternative under the new insurance. I never wait very long to be assisted at the counter, and it's refreshing to see some of the same faces each week. I use this pharmacy for my brother's medications. The pharmacy employees are quick, and although they can be very busy at times, they still take the time to talk with you if you need assistance. The store itself is always well stocked with energy drinks and candy. You can also get passport photos here.
