I'm not one to fight the crowds in order to shop inside the store. Usually buy my groceries online for delivery. Very strongly advise that you do not buy ANY produce online. 99.99% will turn rotten in two days or less. Once was delivered rotten lemons at delivery. Bought brussel sprouts a few days ago and already turned yellow/black. Also bought green pepper and was badly wrinkled and had to use same day or trash. However the pantry and dairy items are safe. Meat is either a hit or miss. Suggest buying name brand meats only. Sometimes bread comes in bags that are ripped or sliced open. Another risk at hit or miss. I've learned to shop at different stores for different items. Saves money but does take time off busy schedule. read more

Went to this walmart an me an my mom were in produce section when this old lady with shaggy shoulder length hair was stocking. But didn't seem to care about our space she was impatient with us an kept glaring at us. She wasn't even working an pushing her cart too close to us. Walmart was only too happy to take hundreds of dollars from me to put all new tires on my vehicle but don't want to know me to tighten the lugs - which is a free service after a month of driving on new tires. This continues to be one of the Walmarts that I find to be subpar. You get used to seeing customers come in in their jammies or looking like they just crawled out of bed and can't be bothered to take a shower and put on at least some clean clothes but when you see employees dressed like that, you know the things are downhill in the store. I find it. Unbelievable that management would allow employees to come in there with their hair standing all over the place which I guess you'd call bed head wearing pajama bottoms. This is why I just don't shop there. They just don't bother to take any responsibility to keep the store decent. I only go here now for paper products. Tire Center, Port Orchard Walmart - Worst customer service ever. Ordered tires online and got an email they had arrived. 2 hrs before the scheduled install appointment, got an email that the appointment was cancelled. Called to find out why - they said tires were not there yet. Didn't know when they would arrive. Requested manager call. Manager called and said no, they were not there. Got a call 30 minutes later stating yes, the tires ARE there, they just weren't logged in. My son took my granddaughter's car over to the scheduled appointment. When he picked car up, they told him one of the sensors doesn't work but they put the bad one back anyway and he would have to come back if he wants it fixed. Didn't have time to fix it. Next time - I'm headed to Les Schwab. Their customer service is amazing. I've always hated Walmart - now I hate it even more. read more

I'm updating, just because I made the mistake of purchasing something here, it was late, you know how it is, the only place open. So now I come to return it because it didn't work, a little Bluetooth speaker, and apparently customer service closes before the rest of the store. I explained that I just drove quite a few miles, this small item was about to cost me more in gas than it was worth. They had nothing. Worst customer service ever. Maybe I had said I wasn't coming back to this place, now I will avoid it like the plague. Bad news. Check it out; I am finally DONE w/Waldomart! I have had nothing but problems in my rural area concerning their deliveries and when there is a problem (usually property damage) one can go online or by phone and get the usual Walmart run-a-round w/NO answers regarding your inquiry as to just (who) will be (or did) deliver the order. You are told it could basically be 'anyone', Fed-Ex, Uber, USPS, etc.,(not UPS they have too much class). Therefore no way to trace who just wrecked your driveway, ran over your garden (or dog). How secure is that?! I was alarmed today by commotion outside w/barking dogs, neighbors yelling and some (unmarked) white van FLYING through our small private roads kicking up a huge cloud of dust (mid-drought) like you would not believe possible. This 'attack van' grinded to a halt at the end of my driveway, tossed out my parcel in the dirt, two (very) young asians yelling something in Chinese, tried to take off (w/front wheels turned on an uphill grade) and sat grinding a huge hole in the road (that 'I' will need to repair) until I yelled back and 'signaled' (since they could not understand English) to stop, back up and straighten wheels and proceed forward. Absolutely appeared to be their first day driving (in America). Top it off w/the order being WRONG then you have a perfect 'Walmart Day'..... WOW! Look forward to the same? Shop online at Walmart! I visited the Vision Center today to purchase new glasses. I was fortunate to be helped by Jaime. She was incredible! So friendly and incredibly helpful. She gave me tips and pointers and even helped me pick out the best glasses for me. She's amazingly knowledgeable and patient. She also made me laugh several times. What a gem! We are a fairly regular customer of the Port Orchard Walmart store and usually leave as a satisfied customer but we are not so happy with our latest experiences. The store has reduced the number of checkout stands to four and greatly increased the number of self checkout lanes. On our latest visit today 6/8/21 the self checkout had a few customers while there was long lines at 2 of the four regular checkout lanes. The other two were closed with plenty of the associates not busy in the self check area. When we left I thought I 'd talk to a real person on the phone and tell them that we along with many other customers were not having a good experience shopping at their store but after navigating the phone system to talk to a real person I gave up after nobody answered for 10 or 15 minutes. Evidently Walmart's policy at least at this store is to irritate the customers enough so that they will checkout the way they want them to? Well it might work but for me I think I will just checkout from this store read more

Yesterday they delivered my groceries to the wrong apartment. They said they would refund my money and told me to re-order. They only had two hour Xpress available for me to use. They told me to go ahead and use it and they wouldn't charge me the $10. They lied they're not allowed to do that I have since found out. I'm on a fixed income and I pay for Walmart plus so I don't have to pay for delivery. So this situation is causing an overdraft that I have to pay for now. The manager in delivery yesterday promised me they would deliver items that weren't available yesterday. When I tried to re-order to me today free of charge. That did not happen. I went to corporate and talk to them about it. And I told them I want a written letter of apology from the store manager by 4 o'clock today. It is now after four and I haven't received anything. I also called my local store this morning after talking to corporate. And asked that they bring a written letter of apology to me by 4 o'clock today. I was told I would get it by 4 o'clock today I did not. So the store lied to me stole money from me. I'm on disability with a fixed income and frostbite entry on my left foot. So I cannot walk to a store to shop. I will no longer deal with Walmart in any way shape or form. And I should just you guys really watch out this Port Orchard Walmart cannot be trusted it's full of liars and cheats. read more

same crap as always, I avoid this store and most Walmarts like the plague. always dirty, usually police cars swarming the parking lot due to the clientele. never has bags. self checkout is terrible. won't work with 90% of the cards you try to swipe or insert. including my either of my two American Express cards. which work everywhere but Walmart. employees obviously hate their job and then they have the audacity to ask for a receipt when leaving. even though we have no options but self check out! either trust us or add cashiers. Terrible Management! For 2 days I tried to get an answer to my problem, an assistant manager told me he could, and would help but he would get back to me the following day. The next day I never got a call, so I called back 3 times trying to talk to the Store Manager. Eventually another assistant called me and said sorry we cant help you. I said well that was a waist of 3 days, can I please talk to the store manger to hear why. The assistant said yes he will give you a call. I Never got called me back. I had gone in 10/13/21 to purchase some cat food and a few other things, one being a toothbrush. At around 3:30pm I pushed the button for help and patiently waited for someone to come. Five minutes later, no one shows up. So I push the button again and then a third time. Still nothing. I kept pushing the button over the period of half an hour! I waited half an hour for a stupid toothbrush. I kept checking to see if there were any associates near by that could help me but no one was around. When I finally saw someone I asked them if they can please send someone to help me and then the lady with the keys to that section finally showed up. I asked her if they don't get the page if someone presses the button? I let her know I had been waiting for half an hour and she sounded annoyed and instead of apologizing she got defensive and said she was all the way across the store. Last time I checked it doesn't take half an hour to walk across Walmart. Get it together. Its bad enough we have to check ourselves out and not get paid to do so. Two stars instead of one just because the cashier was really nice and he acknowledged me and asked me about my day. The worse Walmart in the area. I rather drive to Bremerton or even better Poulsbo. The Port Orchard parking lot is horrible.

I wanted to get my ears pierced so I bought the earrings they give free piercing with. They said 14k but they were pretty cheap so I questioned the clerk. I told her I was allergic to anything but solid 14k. She assured me they were. Two days later my face became swollen. It wasnt a normal allergic reaction so I didnt take out the earrings. Next day I looked in my mouth and saw a molar had turned black. I made dentist app with a bad dentist in Federal way (review of him later) who told me that state medical only paid for extraction of tooth. So as he's litarally bracing his feet on chair to pull my molar I ask if it was infected , he replies "No " just as the tooth gave way. My face was still swollen for days till I took out the earrings and every thing went back to normal. I made a claim to Walmart but they completely ignored me. Their insurance company asked for before and after pictures which were impossible to provide so they would not process a claim. I lost my back molar , suffered almost two weeks of pain and swelling. And got robbed for the earrings and to this day Walmart has done nothing to make it right. read more

Living close by, this is my go-to store for grocery shopping. Upon moving to Port Orchard I was really disappointed in this Walmart. The shelves are never properly stocked and every time I go they are "completely out" of something I need. It's absolutely ridiculous and incredibly frustrating. I give two stars because the staff is always friendly and as helpful as they can be. Which is a rarity these days. read more

All I have to say is this: 24 hours. In a place where things are not open late, this is a blessing. Sure, it's a little bit of a drive for us, but totally worth it when you remember you need batteries at 1 am. Or anything at 1 am. In general, WalMart does have unbeatable low prices. You are getting the shopping experience that you are paying for, but we always find what we need or 3 things we didn't need. I love their seasonal decorations and accessories. They cover everything at this store from sports and car gear to clothes to a grocery to fast food chains and an optometrist office. Plenty of parking. read more

Shout out to Mason & Alejandro who went out of their way to assist my mom and I today! Helped us get annoying awkward futon box, joked with us the entire time and even helped us up to the front and load it into our car. Seemless and fast experience - not what i am used to from Walmart, which is why I don't usually shop there. Tried to pay a compliment to the manager about these guys but he didn't seem to care much about it so felt like we had to get on here - hope someone sees it and recognizes their awesome customer service and continue to hire people like this. read more

On 6/5/18 I was checking out at self check out! 4 items in cart, the attendant stands in front of my cart and watches me scan, dang don't just stare ask if I need help, it's creepy! Don't go here during covid-19. I went to get a crate for my new puppy. I have broken my arm so I have a cast and needed help getting into my cart. None the less my car. I checked out, and walked to the doors. So far so good. Got help getting crate in my cart. Got some s'mores stuff, all good. As I walked out the man asked to see my receipt. I told him I didn't want him touching it. I tried to show him and he kept walking towards me. Saying he couldn't see it. Well please stay 6 ft away from me and my son. I told him he needed to back away but insisted on seeing my receipt. The issue is not the receipt. I am happy to show it. The issue is the fact he took off his mask and kept approaching me. He also stopped the entire line, when I walked out the lady behind me asked what happened and I told her. She laughed and was like that's crazy. I occasionally get worse service than I'd like, but generally I get better than one would expect from a store that size. Crappy Walmart being run into the ground by lazy, stupid managers with idiotic policies such as completely closing off the Electronics section after 10 pm, closing all but 1 register down, closing the entrance to the building that of course I had parked next to, refusing to let me out of said entrance 5 seconds after the security doofus locked it, etc. But what annoyed me the most is how I was booted from the electronics section at 9:55pm after trying to find a product for a good 10 minutes by myself, and then receiving a half-ass attempt by one of their employees who looked with me for a whole 10 seconds before he gave up and told me that they must be out and that I needed to leave immediately because this section was now closed.
