Ah yes . . . The Silverdale location. The old Bremerton location had the best oddities and selection, but they closed down and reopened with a more generic selection down the road. Silverdale is currently in the lead. Sometimes you can find items at 10 percent of their retail if you get lucky. They had an insane deal on Lara Bars. By the case, I should have bought more. Corone six packs are a good deal here. Keep up the great work. You don't have to buy 4 or 5 of an item to get a deal. Checkers are very attentive and cheery usually. Stockers sometimes are anti-social, but no biggie. read more

This store has the RUDEST store manager AND owner- are they related??? Perhaps so. I have shopped here a LOT over the last three years, and so have my parents and friends, we even spoke many times with the owner (wife) about their wine selections when we were in there to buy wine. However, buyer beware, if you have a discrepancy with your purchases when you get home -- the store manager and (wife) owner could care less about you and will basically call you a LIAR! I got home, saw a minor item was missing, so I called the store saying I thought they forgot to put a $1.50 product in my bag. Mind you, I spent nearly $70 there, so $1.50 was just an inquiry. I wanted to see if it was still there on the counter. I thought maybe the cashier didn't roll it through the belt and forgot to help me put it in the bag yet charged me for it. I called and the store manager immediately was on the defense, continued to inform me, "If you bag you're own groceries then it's your fault, you're responsible not us." So, I asked to speak with the owner. I told the owner I didn't know I wasn't protected by bagging my own groceries, I was just trying to be helpful. Anyway, long story short. Well, both women were dismissive and talked over me all for $1.50!!! Like ... wtf, for real??? I've never experienced something so absurd and bizarre like that before in all of my shopping experiences living in California, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Florida, Texas, and now Washington. My family spent several $100's of dollars a month at her store but NO MORE. Owner seriously needs to take a course in customer service because there is NONE there. read more

Green moldy pork rinds. Ones on the top of the bag were fine and I didn't discover until the bottom of the bag(bag is solid colored and not see through) Going to pass on the savings in the future. I would take a picture of the remnants of the bag but I might vomit if it do. YUCK. read more

I had a NASTY experience going to the grocery outlet in silverdale . The older women who worked there was coughing extremely bad then she proceeded to cough in her hand and touch all over my groceries thinking it was OK I am deeply appalled and disgusted because that is a sanitation issue and that is exactly how germs are spread. Awful! Produce was wilted or moldy, lots of expired items, even items that weren't expired seemed like they were refrigerated wrong and tasted awful! This is the worst grocery outlet I've ever been to. Will not be returning. read more

This is my favorite grocery store in the whole county! My husband is obsessed with Grocery Outlet. He converted me! I love finding unique treats, delicious freezer food, local dairy, and some great organics. Let's be real though. The wine!!! I am pretty picky about my wine and over the years I've realized my best finds come from Grocery Outlet. Seriously, do yourself a favor and taste your way through their selections! You will be amazed!!! People are forever stunned when I tell them the wine they are sipping (and loving) came from there. Enough about the products... Let me fill you in on this particular location. The store itself is clean, organized and well stocked. The employees are stellar. Every single one! They treat you like family and really make it fun to do an otherwise mundane task. I love how they share in my excitement when I find a hidden gem in the store. They always have great recommendations too. The management seems to really care about their team as well which is nice to see. Yesterday, in the midst of this pandemic, I made my first grocery trip in weeks. Just me and my two kiddos. It wasn't very busy toward the end of the day, but my list was crazy. It felt like my kids hadn't been to a store in their entire life as we navigated the aisles. I was trying to keep them focused and composed while I desperately tried not to forget anything. I'm not sure if it was the owner or manager (should have got his name...) but he was so sweet engaging with my kids. He even gave them a special coin to trade for a treat. They felt like royalty. I felt like we were at Disneyland as he turned our stress into excitement. So, to whomever that was, thank you for making this crazy time just a little bit better through your kindness. I'm thrilled that our family has decided to spend our money at this Grocery Outlet. I am proud to support this business! read more

Were to start its difficult but the staff are really nice which means a lot b/c grocery shopping is challenging for me. But what I appreciate most about G.O. is the health supplements. I have to buy them & start nourishing my body now so that it won't break down later, my family has a history of degenerative things happening which is why I spend outside my budget & Grocery Outlet is such a life saver! For example I have to take Calcium tablets G.O. has a pretty good selection of healthy drink mixes, other vitamins which since my body is aging I must take. This store is most helpful as there aren't any GNC stores & I don't care for GNC stores anyway. Now there isn't everything here, thats okay its an outlet grocery. However I buy all my fish, meats here instead of at the main chain stores. It's an awesome store! read more

I used to shop at this store regularly, but since the new owners took over last year this location has really gone downhill. Items are not well labeled, many prices are missing from the shelves, and the selection - especially of natural and organic items - has gotten very limited. Also, there really aren't as many bargains to be had here anymore. Prices - and service and selection- are much much better at the Bremerton location. Often the Silverdale location stocks the exact same items as Bremerton but at 50% or more markup. Sorry Gross Out Silverdale. We're done. read more

If you see it buy it, it may not be there next time! I love how cheap it is, sometimes I save more than I spend. Sometimes things are out of date, or banged up! I think the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Sometimes they close the bathroom off "for cleaning" but you'll notice it stays closed. I go there often though, to supplement my grocery needs. They had a wide variety of organic and vegan friendly items. Many cheese and snacks. You'll tend to find the most random of items. Just remember they don't always have the same stuff, so if you want it grab it now! read more

It's a discount grocery store so don't expect Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. At the same time, however, don't knock it. If you are not ultra brand-conscious and want to be penny-wise, give Grocery Outlet a shot. You may not find foie gras, but you sure as hell will be able to feed your family for a week on a shoestring budget. We were thrilled to find Lindt Excellence 85% cacao chocolate bars and very fresh produce, which was the original reason for our quick visit in the first place. read more

I'm a bargain shopper and I'm not afraid to admit that. This place always has good deals on yogurt, cheeses, veggies. Heck just about everything. You just have to take your time to shop. Customer service is always friendly and the best part is your supporting your local small business... your community. I usually always shop at grocery outlet but today will be my last time at the silverdale location ...they clearly had something stocked in the wrong spot & the manager Mia told me I read it wrong & I had to wait till the owners came in Monday to see if I can get a refund....even when I have my receipt!!! NOTE: The new owners of this store do not honor the usual Grocery Outlet wine return policy. I have tasted and enjoyed A LOT of wine from Grocery Outlets throughout the West Coast and it has been such a bennefit to try a variety of wine and have the opportunity to return any wine I didn't like to the Grocery Outlet for a refund or exchange of product; no questions asked. However at this location, the cashier asked if I had opened the wine (obviously with the partial cork exposed) and stated they did not refund open wine. I WAS SHOCKED and asked to speak to the manager. The owner came out and told me that they were not in the habit of having open alcohol around the store and it wasn't their policy to return open wine. She would THIS TIME though as long as I chose a liked price wine I could do a direct exchange. This was nice, and I did appreciate it, but I sure didn't feel like I was a welcomed customer. I'll be buying my wine elsewhere unless I know the wine for sure. read more

We stopped by this place because we couldn't find a Safeway or QFC for restrooms and snacks. But I'm really glad that we stopped here! The restroom was amazingly clean (auto sensor sink and the newest hand dryer lol). The store was spacious, bright, and organized. Good place! read more

I've shopped here before with some degree of luck but this time it was absolutely rude. Not only is the checkout sooooo! slow but when I finally got to be next in line the lady looked straight at me, put the register closed sign out on the conveyor belt!
