A great way of saving via off-season racks. Being the only individual in the store, the worker wasn't relatable. She kept avoiding eye contact and tried their hardest not to acknowledge my presence. Oh gosh, I don't like being first to review and having it a negative review but it just wasn't a good experience at all. I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the smell and it wasn't good. I'm thinking a Scentsy or some other type of room deodorizer would be beneficial. The second thing I noticed was the fact the it's super cluttered with shoes absolutely everywhere and racks and racks of clothes with no rhyme nor reason to anything. Women's tops had two wall racks, both with small, medium and large markers on them but in the large section it was all mixed together. Jeans were on racks, walls and counters, never did figure that out! Time to get down to business and see what I can find! That brought the third thing to my attention and that was the price!! Holy moly, the price! The clothing was all just typical thrift store items, nothing more, nothing less. Most items were old and outdated, stretched out and over washed. If it was decent looking, JC Penney brand or had tags, it was priced higher than a sale price at the department store brand new! With no customer service and a couple disgruntled customers carrying on very loudly it definitely wasn't a pleasant experience and I won't be returning. read more

Also one oF my items was missing when I picked up my stuff after 60 days : no explanation offered ! In addition the owner very pushy in trying to get me to spend my earnings in the store - so she wouldn't have to cut me a check . Business here is NOT handled honestly . Store is incredibly well organized has lots of little trinkets to look at an ample variety of clothes at a variation and prices. They even have a dollar section! (Small but iT's THERE! :) They also saw a few local items. Including a candle company from Kingston. Men's women and children there are a ton of varieties of items, there's little things for the kids to look at and little candies to eat too. And then maybe the lady who was working at the store at the time I came in was the owner? I'm sure but either way she was very friendly and helpful if you needed help finding anything in the store. If you love shopping for clothes this is the place to go before you check out some of the overpriced stores in the area. I love a good deal so I feel that these prices are reasonable with their items, mostly though they are all in fabulous condition read more

Stacy Sucks! Go in and find out for yourself. You've been warned. They sell your items and never tell you. When you go back to get your clothes, they tell you to find them on the floor. Never received any paperwork for the clothes you drop off. They just make you sign a release for to basically waive your rights to everything. Con Artist! Oh my Lord. I waited in line for much longer than necessary while TWO people behind the counter folded and bagged clothing and yammered on and on about gymnastics to the customer in front of me. My mom was with me and was pacing around between where I was waiting and the door. When they FINALLY got to me, they had to start a new conversation about how a song that came on reminded them of the wedding singer. I fake laughed because I just really wanted to get the hell out of there. I had other places to be. After she rang me up and gave me the receipt, she asked my mom if she needed help to which my mom said she was waiting for me. The older woman said "eh" and turned her back. Rude all around! I will never waste my time in there again. As much as goodwill sucks, I'm in and out in a timely manner and have never encountered anyone like I did at lucky star. read more

Absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. Spent upwards of $70 on a jacket that had a huge stain on it that i was sure i could get out. Washed the jacket on cold gentile cycle, and not only did the jacket ruin my washing machine, but the jacket fell apart completely. Drove hours out of my way back to the store for them to tell me there was nothing they could do for me. Not even a store credit!!! read more
