I was put off a bit by this because, although true, it was a very in your face thing to say to someone just entering the store. I was planning on looking for books to purchase but while walking back to that area I heard the employee/owner? Say the same thing two more times in a loud voice to everyone in the store. It was a total turn off. I don't like feeling pressure to buy something to appease a shop owner. If your prices are good and I see what I like I will almost always purchase something. I love supporting local stores but this behavior was over the top and we walked out and so did several other people. I'm sure there are some people who look around because they are bored while waiting for the ferry and while that may be irritating as a shop owner, it is part of business anywhere. If you stand by your product then let people come in and browse without giving a guilt trip to people. We left and went a few stores down and made a purchase at a cute boutique where the owner welcomed us and let us browse and make a purchase without saying anything other than pleasantries.

I originally took my Louis Vuitton Horizon watch to a local clock/watch shop to have the white…read morestrap replaced with a new black one, since the white had accumulated dirt over time. Unfortunately, they completely botched the job by cutting both the strap and the wire that connects it. I truly thought the watch was ruined and had pretty much given up hope. I could have taken it back to Louis Vuitton to have it repaired but I was sure it would have cost me hundreds of dollars to do so. Thankfully, I decided to bring it to Seattle Fine Jewelry for a second opinion. The owner, Ramir, his son Jordan, and their staff member Kaitlyn were absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, they were warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and completely transparent about the repair process. Not only were they able to fix my watch, but the turnaround time was surprisingly quick. I also had my favorite diamond ring cleaned ("The Manicure" treatment) and wow, the results were remarkable. It came back incredibly sparkly and shiny, like it had been brought back to life. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere. Everyone was professional yet fun and welcoming, which made the entire experience enjoyable instead of stressful. Their prices are reasonable, parking is easy right up front, and the quality of service is top-notch. It's rare to find a business that combines skill, honesty, and genuine customer care like this. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Seattle Fine Jewelry and will definitely be returning for future repairs and cleanings.

My dream watch became a reality thanks to Lisha at Alvin Goldfarb Jeweler. Lisha is not only…read moresuperlatively passionate and knowledgeable about luxury watches, but she genuinely cares about her customers; to her, it is not just about the transaction, but about having an authentic connection with the customer and their story. Along my journey, I had visited a few other ADs, but none of the visits felt real or, dare I say, 'fun.' It was not until my visit to Alvin Goldfarb (almost by luck on my wife's suggestion!) and meeting Lisha that I became aware of how the experience *should* be. The store was beautiful and inviting. It was so easy for her to create a relaxed and familiar environment and to connect over the watches I am interested in, and it quickly just became fun to both get genuinely excited about the whole experience; it was like working with an old friend. It was during one of these visits that Lisha decided to surprise me with my dream watch. Let me tell you that as fateful as the first time I visited, this special visit almost did not happen. I had decided last minute to squeeze in a visit on a hot (for Seattle, 80+ deg) summer day after a hectic day of work. For several reasons, it probably would have been "better" to visit on some other day, but boy, oh boy, am I glad I did not listen to my left brain that day and instead went with my gut and reminded myself of how great of a time it would be to enjoy and talk watches with Lisha. We were mid-conversation, with an exhibition GMT Master II on my wrist, talking about watch news, watches as gifts, upcoming travel plans, family life, some current events when out of nowhere a gentleman in a grey suit walks up with a tray in hand, with a watch on the tray, handing it to Lisha. Things started to get blurry at this point, but here's what I remember: Lisha handing me the tray and saying 'That's your watch. I wanted to make sure you had it for your trip,' me (hopefully) able to say some words of astonishment and gratitude (I was stunned, in shock really), me having a hard time doing simple things I have done countless times (like writing my phone number and signing my signature), me not being able to stop glancing at my new wrist companion and feeling its heft on my wrist as our time together began. I also remember repeatedly thanking Lisha and everyone at the store ad nauseam, then sort of floating out of the store with my dream watch on my wrist. Days later, I am still on cloud 9 and incredibly thankful and stoked about the entire experience. Thank you again for the Nth time, Lisha :) I am looking forward to future visits to come, and I cannot more highly recommend working with you and Alvin Goldfarb. More power!

FRANKS experience should give warning & share the ugliness to customers about to frequent this store. Maybe my story will serve as a reminder to reconsider purchasing here. At the time or beginning of my story Alvin Goldfarb Jeweler who was an Authorized Dealer for ROLEX in the Pacific Northwest. After doing some research I started frequenting the store looking for a few Rolex watches. Yes , I was very specific in my choices but always given the " NO " you can't have one for over 2 years. I came in every 4 to 6 weeks just to check and " NO" was the mantra of the sales staff. I was always told we have other watches for sale. Like who cares what ya have if ya can't provide what I desire. Now one amazing summer day I saw the $6400 41mm Celebration dial by Rolex in the case. My excitement level increased and I ask if it's for sale? The mantra is now uttered "NO NO NO" ! However something new that day happened and was shared by sales representative, I was actually told if you spend a $1,000,000 in jewelry it should be no issue to get that watch..... Now I was stunned by this statement so much I said are you serious and the person said YES! Well, that seems excessive and ridiculous and no I didn't drop a million to acquire the timepiece. I'll never forgot the arrogance of staff member of Alvin Goldfarb Jewelry and defiantly will not purchase anything from them. OK, now this is the happy ending of the story. I did manage to acquire The Celebration dial by Rolex elsewhere so I have that going for me. And on January 1st 2025 the BIG HAND OF THE CROWN aka ROLEX laid the smack down on ALVIN GOLDFARB & pulled authorized dealership away from store. No longer can they sell ROLEX.... KARMA saw the bad business practices by using Rolex watches to lure you into buying unwanted jewelry or non Rolex branded watches you don't want in order to maybe purchase a Rolex. Well, this is my story my truth & my journey, can you dig it!
