They have so much cute stuff. This store is the main reason that I visit Poulsbo. The girl working there remembered exactly what I got last time even though it was several months ago. It's family owned and the owner has many ties to Sweden and she even speaks Swedish. A lot of it is a bit pricier brands but they are of incredible quality. Clothes were okay, one of the jackets I tried on had a strong mildew smell which was unfortunate. Customer service is poor. The short girl was a bit irritating. On top of their customers from the second they walk in - in an annoying way, not a friendly way. When paying they ask your first and last name, where I'm from, etc - which was strange to me. Not sure why other reviews are poor, I'm sure they may have had legitimate gripes at the time, they are a couple years old. But our experience was quite pleasant. Laura was fantastic in assisting my wife choosing several outfits. I thought the pricing on most things were appropriate for the terrific quality lines they carry. My wife is excited for an ongoing relationship with Flicka. From my perspective I am impressed with the level of clothing they carry, very similar to Anthropology which, according to my sweetheart, is a great thing! Another plus are the very comfortable chairs husbands can occupy while enjoying the wife's fashion show. read more

Love this place! I found a nice fluffy sweater for me and a very pretty light yellow soft leather shoes for my daughter! The ladies helping us at the counter were very helpful; my daughter noticed the discount tag color didn't match the discounted color tag given by the lady (I think she was in training) at the cash register; this was quickly corrected by the "seasoned" sales lady, and was given the correct discounted price. My daughter loves her shoes and I love my fluffy sweater! Definitely stop by Flicka, check out their discounted items...you might just come out with a bag or two of good finds. read more

I agree with another reviewer -- buy somewhere else. Pros: - stylish clothes that are in fashion - well known brands as well as some smaller ones intermixed Cons: - repeatedly bad customer service - cheap quality of some of the brands - over priced on some items I just moved to kingston from Seattle and was excited to find a boutique with style similar to my own and brands i love. Flicka has beautiful clothes and the buyer has gorgeous taste. Sadly, after coming here several times willing and ready to drop some money, the customer service has repeatedly turned me off and today i've finally decided im just not coming back. theres a reason that no one is ever in this store and thats because it feels uncomfortable. My mom and I were doing some christmas shopping together but split up to get each other things. We separately went into flicka and when we reunited we realized we both had poor customer service by a group of teenage girls who were unprofessional, rude and disrespectful to both a young customer and an older one. read more

I used to like this store but had an unfortunate experience that will make me think twice before wandering in. I got a gift of clothing from this store for Christmas - I don't live here, and by the time I was able to make my way back to this area (a month or so later) they told me they had a 10 day return policy.... So they expect people to buy and give a gift in less than 10 days so the person can return if necessary in that time?.... Even with that the associates said they did 40% back for a pair of boots a woman in a similar situation wanted to return a few days before. At this point I was like fine (it's over a $100 sweater but fine). Then they get a text from the owner that says she's only willing to give me 10% back.... 10%? seriously? Worst customer service i've ever heard of in my life. I decided to sell the article of clothing myself instead of give this shop more money since I know for a fact they'd sell it for far more than 10% once they put it back on the shelves. All this made me think was - don't shop local. They treat certain customers with different respect than others. read more

Oh my goodness this is my new obsession! Finally a fabulous women's clothing store in Poulsbo! The selection is amazing - the owner obviously has GREAT taste and buys with multiple body shapes/sizes in mind. (I'm curvy and there were a ton of options for me). I love clothes that are comfortable yet still look trendy and unique - she had tons of options in that genre which was great. But there are alot of dressy options as well. My husband came with me one time and sat in the comfy chairs which are right in front of the dressing rooms - that was so nice because I didn't feel as rushed, and hubby was happy. Prices are great - she has some brands that are really expensive, but the majority of her clothing/accessories are really affordable IMO. Definitely drop by this store! read more

I originally found myself in flicks because the clean bright store front and window display caught my eye while meandering downtown Poulsbo. I have 5 little ones following me and expect a certain amount of stink eye when I enter a small boutique like this however, I was pleasantly surprised to find that was not the case at Flicka! They had a cute little play area for my kids to enjoy while I tried on an outfit and the woman working was so sweet to them and attentive to my needs as a shopper. I ended up leaving with just a fun pair of thigh high rainbow socks for my oldest but couldn't get the cute retro frock shop dress I tried on out of my head. I sent my mom back last week and it was still there and at a steal of a price in the sale section. I am so happy to have such a lovely place to shop and I will be back again soon. When a bridesmaid for my son's wedding realized she forgot her dress, I called the store to see if they had anything in the color scheme the dress needed to be in. The store was closing in 5 minutes, but the salesperson took time to check and describe a few options. The bridesmaid went to the store the next morning and found a perfect dress! I was very excited to visit. I'm from Philadelphia and am in town to visit my mom and aunt. We had a terrible experience in Flicka. As soon as I entered the store a woman who worked there pointed at me and abruptly said "There's a sales rack in the back of the store." It seemed she was insinuating that's what I could afford. Later, my aunt asked her the price of a purse and instead of divulging the price she said "Oh that's a very expensive bag." Again insinuating my aunt couldn't afford to buy it. It is upsetting that at a place of business a sales representative is suggesting you can't afford items. The whole point of business is to sell products to customers not to discourage them from buying the product. It seems like a very counterintuitive business plan. read more

What a great store! Great customer service! Great clothes! Love the styles they have....my 9 year old didn't get bored while I tried things on because the customer care was so good. They treated my daughter as good as they did the adult customers and I really liked that about the store. I don't do many reviews, but I really thought this store was deserving of praise. read more
